Though I think the deep inky green shade of this nail polish is gorgeous, and the rose themed bottle design is sweet and the rose scent is somewhat pleasant, I wouldn't buy it again. Yes, the glossy creaminess is fabulous (I'm a sucker for glossy cremes) but the drying time was longer than to be desired. I can usually apply a quick dry topcoat like Seche Vite over somewhat tacky-to-the-touch polish and I'll be out the door in just about five minutes. Sadly, this polish took f-o-r-e-v-e-r to get to that point so I thought, "what the heck, maybe SV will just do what it does best and speed everything along." Unfortunately, SH didn't help and I love my topcoat so I can only lay blame on the polish.

This is a lovely dark emerald green creme with a slight jelly texture. I have three other Anna Sui and haven't done a manicure with the other two, but from this one I'd say though it's gorgeous, I probably wouldn't buy it again. I didn't buy this one, it was given to me by an awesome MUAer, and I'm going to hold on to it as I don't have a similar color, though I hear Nars Zulu is similar. The smell alone is enough to keep me away. It's designed to smell like rosewater when dry (when it actually gets around to drying), but actually ends up smelling like your grandma's floral room spray. As I said, it doesn't dry well, I put it on two hours before bed with Poshe topcoat over it and woke up with smudges and sheet marks. Usually a mani cures with Poshe for me completely within a half hour. As far as the packaging, it gorgeous! Lovely to look at and the shape of the handle is detailed enough to make it easy to open and hold while polishing. The polish also tends to shrink up around the edges even before topcoat so that the edges are a lighter green and "tip wear" shows. All in all, I wouldn't search another Anna Sui out again, unless it's just amazingly gorgeous and I can't live without it. And then I'll put it on six hours before bed and spray it with SolarSpray to make it smell a little better.
