Light and easy to wear. At the end of the day I can smell it from where I sprayed it on my chest. I can see how someone would get tobacco from this. But I do get a vanilla as well. I bought this long ago, but it's staying power seems to have increased over time, at least on me. A lot of things I have are too potent to wear to the office, but I can get away with this.

THE OTHER REVIEWS ARE MISLEADING. Don't let VANILLA in the name fool you. This does NOT smell like vanilla. I am a vanilla lover, and have tried most vanilla scents under $30. My favorite is Vanilla Lace, but it has no lasting power lately, so I've been seeking another EDT that has a true vanilla dry down. Based on the other reviews saying that this smells like a true vanilla -- I ordered this on the net without having ever smelled it. Much to my disappointment, I smell no vanilla at all of any type -no true vanilla (like extract), no sweet vanilla, no woodsy vanilla... zero vanilla scent. Not even after it dries down. What it does smell like to me is lemon and tobacco. My husband agreed -- he hated it. I really wanted to like this, so I've tried it a few times with the same result. Fortunately, you can't smell it after an hour or so. Highly disappointed. Jessica McClintock.com did, however, send a few other perfume samples, which was nice of them. Also, shipping was fast.

This is a nice vanilla fragrance that has a very neutral vanilla scent about it. Not overly sweet -- just nice rich vanilla that softens nicely as it drys down. It's pretty, soft and very vanilla.

I love vanillas hence my name. Usually all vanilla fragrances smell basically the same or pretty close to, but this one is a bit different. Soft and sexy! Unique and classy! A fragrance that can be worn throughout ALL seasons. Thumbs up in my book.
