Update 3/15/13: It's been over 3 months and I'm still blemish free thanks to this product! WHOOWHOO

I'm jumping on the band wagon, I absolutely love this product. I waited 2 months to review this because I wanted to make sure my clear skin wasn't just a fluke.

I've had intermittent issues with cystic acne as well as normal small zits too since I hit puberty (about 20 years ago). I never had a ton of acne, but even one big cystic zit is too much, they look worse than normal acne, and they make me feel hideous and hurt my confidence when out in public. I had hit a particularly bad patch where I was getting about 2 cystic pimples every month, often around my period, and there was always at least one there, sometimes two at a time, and it had been months since I went without a big bump on my face. Spot treatments weren't working, and in my experience, none of the typical drugstore products worked for me either.

One day I happened upon a review for this product and started to research it. The reviews were quite compelling, there are good reviews all over the internet. I also read about the science behind the nano particles and the effect of silver on skin issues. The cost on the website for this product was quite prohibitive, thankfully I found a 120gm pink one on ebay for $36. That may still seem expensive to some but these soaps last forever, in two months I've barely dented it.

I noticed a difference within the first week of using 1x per day. The two cystic zits I had went away completely within that first week. I did experience some drying but I just used some extra moisturizer and within the first two weeks most of the dryness went away. After my skin was used to it I started using it 2xs per day, morning and night. Two months later and I have not had another cystic pimple since I started using this product. I have had 3 small zits that came and went w/in 2 days, again around my period, but that's it. So long as these results continue (and if they do not I will update this review), I will use this product for the rest of my life. Even if I can't find it on ebay anymore (which is not likely since there's a ton of it on there), I would pay full price for this, that's how good it is.

I leave it on for 1-3 minutes in the morning during my shower and about 1 - 1 1/2 minutes at night before bed. Sometimes it still dries me out a bit (i use retin a at night too), but I just use a more emollient moisturizer and that solves any issues. Even my boyfriend commented on how nice my skin was looking lately, and he is the least observant person I know. I definitely recommend giving this product a try if you have acne issues of any kind.

I have to add my rave to the list. I can't seem to go 3 days without a zit cropping up on my face, but after only 2 weeks of using this, ALL of my zits have dried up, and I haven't gotten a single new one. Amazing! I don't have cystic, disfiguring acne, but my zits were annoying and visible enough that I didn't feel comfortable leaving the house without a liberal amount of foundation. Now I feel fine with a light dusting of mineral powder (over sunscreen, of course). I follow the directions with this; lather, apply to face, wait 6 minutes, rinse, in the morning and evening. I keep my bar in the fridge, and slice off small pieces that I keep in an airtight jar in my bathroom cabinet. No word yet on whether this fades age spots or refines skin texture, but I wanted to post a review that this clears zits with lightening speed. It's quite spendy, even on Amazon, but I don't mind paying extra for a product that actually works. I'll definitely edit if I notice anything improving further or if it stops working for me, but for now, I'm in love.
EDIT 2/10/12: I'm still loving this stuff. I've gotten a small zit or two here and there, but not a single hormonal chin or jawline breakout, which used to be regular fare. Any zits I do get seem to heal far faster than usual.

I have been using the Cyclic Silver for about three weeks. I have sensitive skin that tends to be more dry than oily but I am very prone to breakouts around my mouth and on my chin. The first week that I used this cleanser my skin was MUCH worse - but for some reason I had the feeling it was still doing something good and I kept using it. Today I only have one pimple! The scars from the other breakouts seem to be fading much faster than they normally would which is a nice bonus. I am going to keep using this product for sure and would definitely recommend that you try it.

I am 40 years old and have oily skin (which is also dry!) clogged pores (which seem to be getting worse with age) as well as occasional hormonal breakouts. I read so many positive reviews for this product - I immediately purchased a sample bar of the one in the pink package on eBay. I followed the instructions very carefully - but after the first use, my skin was so dry and irritated, I decided to use it only at night, before bed. The only difference I noticed was that my skin was uncomfortably dry. I saw absolutely no improvement in my skin - as a matter of fact, it looked worse than ever! Blackheads, clogged pores, pimples - and now dry, flaky skin! I do not understand how this product worked so well for others, yet made my face a complete disaster...?! Never, ever again.

My bf first discovered this product 3yrs ago in Hawaii at the Alamoana mall Shirokiya store. There is a small kiosk there. He brought it for me while he was there visiting. I've never heard of this type of cleaner. I was shocked at the price when he told me. I must admit it works well. It clears up my skin when I have breakouts. Also I notice some of my blemishes would be lightened. I would use it only when I breakout. Using this product as a daily routine is too pricey for me.
The only cons is that it is expensive; it must be stored in the fridge or it will melt. At times I noticed that it would make my skin a bit dry so make sure to use a moisterizer after.
Other than that it works wonders.

Using for 4 weeks on recco of my facialist - the pink version for Normal-Sensitive skin. I love this, my skin is super-clear, smooth, soft. It does feel a tiny bit tighter than with other cleansers, but my moisturizers work. Makeup goes on smoother. Used to use Cetaphil, but it didn't remove makeup as effectively or have as dramatic an affect on my skin. No breakouts at all since using.

This is a review for the Cyclic Nano Silver Cleanser - Pink

I've been using this product for about 3 weeks now and I can see a noticeable difference. You do feel a slight tingling sensation but nothing to really complain about. My skin does feel smoother and looks more even and I love the fact that it deep cleanses.

I have dry/sensitive skin but I have not experienced excessive drying or irritation that I usually get from deep cleansers. It's easy to use and it does seem a little pricey but considering it does what a cleanser + exfoliant should do in one product, I think it was worth the price.

I would definitely purchase this product again and would recommend it to anyone else looking for a cleanser.

I love this stuff! I have only been using it about 2 weeks and my face has improved so much! I used to have large cystic type acne and whiteheads and a lot of redness and this has really improved. I am not at 100% perfect skin yet, nor do I think I will ever be, but I do not want to ever be without this product. I also use Bare Escentuals Rare Minerals night treatment (started about a week after starting this soap) and together my face has never looked better.I really urge you to try this. I bought 3 of the sample sized bars for $8.00 each (I think). I have only opened one of the bars, and using it once a day at night I am not even halfway through the first bar, so I think it is a good value.

Pricey, smells funny and dried my combination skin a bit without doing much to prevent new breakouts. My skin also felt a bit irritated after using this stuff in the prescribed manner. Maybe it was taking off too much skin in conjunction with the retinoids I was using? I would not repurchase.

Skin condition - combo, oily tzone, easily congested ("micro zits" and blocked pores), some redness/sensitivity, easily dehydrated.

When looking at the ingredients for this soap I am rather perplexed, I even emailed the manufactures for a full ingr listing, to be only directed to the page which lists what is on the box. I don't think it is possible for any soap to be made out of such ingredients, it needs at least some sort of saponated fat.

Anyhow, dubious ingredients aside, I used the oily skin version and firstly followed ingredients to the T, did not experience any sensation at all - and perhaps my skin was a little clearer the next day? Then I decided to test it out, I massaged my face vigorously with it (as warned not to!) and left a thick layer on for almost 15 minutes... I only felt the sort of sensation one would feel if skin is over dried, but I did not experience redness, tingling or peeling.

I do not suffer from breakouts or large zits/cystic acne, so perhaps this is not the type of product for my skin. I find this only to be a very effective cleanser, and not too over drying. Otherwise it does nothing else.

I hyped my mere male SO about this soap, told him these "magic electric soaps" were coming in the mail, and it would be the end of his BO, pimple and foot odour problems... he was really excited to try and waited for weeks - he liked its cleansing abilities, but failed him completely and utterly in the underarms department - in fact he was so furious that the day he went without any BO (again following cleansing instructions to a T) he had wet arm pits from 10am in the morning.

Not to dampen anyone else's experiences, but the only conclusion I can think of about this soap is that for those who suffer from breakouts find this such a miracle is because the astringent cleansing abilities is such a new sensation for the skin that it reacts positively.

This review is for the Cyclic Nano Silver Cleanser - PINK version. I bought this version because although I have acne-prone skin, I do not currently have acne (thanks to BCPs...praise the lord), and I was more concerned about a few age spots and not drying my skin out. Since the pink has more collagen and less silver, I figured this one would be more suitable for my skin.

First, let me be clear: this is not a soap. It is basically a colloidal silver treatment cream pressed into soap form. This product could actually be listed under "cleanser," "skin treatment," or "scrub."

Here's how I use mine: First, I apply a waterproof lipbalm (Banana Boat) to protect the delicate skin on my lips from the strong effects of the cleanser. (I got some of the lather on the edge of my lips the first time I used NANO, and they ended up peeling a couple of days later.)

Next, I lather up the cleanser *once*, and that is enough lather to cover my entire face. I apply right before I floss and brush my teeth, and by the time I'm done with those 2 things, the 6 minutes are up and it's time to rinse my face. The timing is perfect and it's very convenient to add to my nightly routine.

I have to say that the "tingle" that they mention is actually more of a slight burning sensation. It takes a little bit to get used to, but it does (or is usually supposed to) subside as you use the cleanser more. My face does feel a bit drier afterwards, but not so dry that it peels, flakes, or turns red.

I would not, however, recommend this (even the PINK version) for anyone who has skin that is sensitive in any way, or dry. My skin is on the oilier side, so it can "handle" it. I can see how it would be too harsh for some faces.

What I like about this cleanser is that it really is a deep cleanser. I'm very pleased with what it's done for my skin. After just over a week of use, I can see that my blackheads are greatly reduced, my pores are clearer, and overall my skin is smoother and more even-toned. I think it has even reduced oil production. Just as the pink version is supposed to do, it has already noticeably faded some sun damage (spots, possibly melasma) that I had. And I mentioned that this should be listed under "scrub" because it somehow exfoliates the skin (though there are no "scrubby" particles), and leaves it supremely smooth and soft.

The only thing keeping me from giving this product a 5 is the controversy over colloidal silver. There are FDA and NIH warnings about the use of silver causing the medical condition of argyria, the PERMANENT bluish-gray discoloration of the skin, other organs, deep tissues, nails, and gums. Here's the link to the NIH health alert: http://nccam.nih.gov/health/alerts/silver/index.htm.

Although these risks have been disputed by the NANO company and other sources as outdated and extremely rare, it worries me that the FDA has so many concerns about this ingredient.

At this point, I plan to keep a close eye on the debate over colloidal silver, and use my NANO cleanser with caution. I will definitely not be purchasing the silver version, which has an increased amount of colloidal silver.

UPDATE: I stopped using this. The results weren't fantastic enough to keep using with the possible risks.

This product absolutely destroyed my skin. For reference, I have dehydrated, oily, very acne- and clog-prone skin. I fell for the hype and bought two sample-size bars, one pink and one silver. I religiously used the pink until it was gone, and saw no difference in my skin, other than a slight breakout that I attributed to purging. Foolishly, I thought the silver (the stronger formula) would have a more noticeable effect. It certainly did--in the form of cystic acne all over my face, coupled with extreme dryness. I haven't had a breakout like that since my teenage years. It has been several months and the last of the cysts has finally disappeared. YMMV, but proceed with caution!

Just for reference, I've had acne pretty much my whole life. Right before I bough a bar of this stuff I had had 6 deep cysts in only 3 weeks. As soon as one would begin to heal, another would crop up. Since I began using this product I've had 1 cyst. And that cropped up only a day or two after I'd started using it so it was probably on its way already. This has been the one and only product that has stopped my cystic acne. I still break out monthly - but now I get small pimples instead of cysts. And all take those over cyst any day of the week. And, if I'm diligent about using this before and during my period I only get one, maybe two. For a girl who has tried almost everything under the sun and had none of it help - this has been a god send. I don't care about the price - it's worth every penny. One small word of warning - it will dry you out some - I don't recommend it for people with dry skin.

Don't listen to this hype on this product. It didn't dry out my skin, it didn't work miracles, it didnt do anything. It was just a stupid bar soap with too much reputation. Did absoultely nothing, i did feel the "tingle" while washing but there was no difference in my skin whatsoever.

Holy smokes! Where has this soap been all my life?! I feel silly singing the praises of SOAP but this stuff is truly amazing. I have normal-to-oily skin with small pores that tend to get clogged, especially around my nose. This makes for an oh-so-attractive red area on either side of my nose that I have to cover up with concealer every morning. After two rounds of Accutane and an IPL treatment to get rid of spider veins, my dermatologist concluded that the redness around my nose is because of the stubborn clogged pores and there's really nothing that could be done about them. I'm almost mid-thirties and have a few fine lines around my eyes and my skin is very sensitive to silicones so I can't use 99% of the makeup primers out there, which I always thought was a real shame, considering how great they made my skin look (if not for the breakouts that would appear on cue after two days of use of ANY product that contains silicone high up on the ingredient list).

I was looking for a product that would temper my oily skin and possibly reduce the clogged pores around my nose, thus reducing the redness, too. This soap accomplished that after just two days! Now I no longer NEED a makeup primer! Not only is the redness going away but my pores are clearing up and the rest of my face looks smooth and clear and is so soft. I was shocked by the price of this simple bar of soap but wish I had given in sooner after wasting so much money on other supposed "miracle" products. When it comes right down to it, all I need is this soap, a high PPD sunscreen, and my Skinceuticals Vitamin C Serum and my skin looks and feels better than it ever has.

I figured it was hype and still sort of wonder, but, this is definently NOT normal soap. Or self fulfilling prophecy. It is either both or neither. It makes you crazy. When you obey instructions that tell you to walk around the house with soap lather on your face like a goof, you must will it to work. I started to overthink it - if it gets in your eyes, what does the silver do then? It must not do anything, same as on my skin. Yet there I was, all foamed up folding laundry waiting for it to work (of course it stings, it is soap drying on my face!) And you know what? It definently did something. I felt that my skin looked fresher and there were no breakouts at all. I stopped using it and went back to Philosophy, and bingo - cystic chin break outs. Which I now think are fungal. And the silver is anti-fungal, too. The real evidence came towards the end of the bar - I got lazy about keeping it in the refrigerator and as it was used up, it became more and more jello like - definently NOT a soap like I figured it probably was, this settled into a substance from another planet. I just bought another bar and will continue to update. My skeptical brain realizes how simple it is to fool people into seeing something that isn't there in this bar, but on the other hand, it really did seem to work, and whether that is the result of the "special routine" and the result of the same brain experiencing the placebo effect, I don't know. It is either a bar of amber colored Jello magically turned dense and hard or it is just magic. Jury is still out.
EDITED to Add-
this stuff destroys cystic chin acne. I won't go so far as to say it cures it. It doesnt go away overnight. But I got two whoppers the kind that usually last for two weeks at least then leave red marks for months - I applied this stuff and within two days - they were flat and skin colored, and three days after that - gone. Tenderness was gone overnite, too. Went back to another cleanser, got another two (they come in twos) including one really hot, painful one. Used Cyclic, and next day, it is flattened, no longer tender and drying out. I think the cysts are caused by silicones, are not normal acne, and it is the anti fungal properties of the soap that destroy the lesions. I am a believer. You can get little bars on ebay and are definently worth a try if you are cursed by this type of break out.

I had used this soap before to treat my hormonal breakout and it was working wonderfully. I noticed that it would encourage purging to some of my current pimple and bring it to head than I would extract it. Otherwise, it would of become a cyst. However, I read some concerns about collidal silver causing harm and may turn your skin grayish. So I stopped using it and put it back in the refrigerator. A month later my hormonal breakout came back and it was just horrible. I went to the doctor and she prescribed Benzaclin. The first week using this medicine, it worked but later on it made my skin so dry, tight and it felt rough. I applied the medicine for 3 weeks but I just couldn't take it anymore. I stopped for 3 days than remember that I still had the soap. I took it out and applied the cleanser and washed it off. It's my 4th day and my skin is starting to look good again. Good as in the bumps are slowly going down. The cystic pimps are drying up and my face is less oily. After rinsing the cleanser off, the pros: my skin looks bright, feels clean; cons: a little dry in my chin area (but I get that with all of the cleasner I have used), a little tight (nothing bad, it goes away). I wait for 30 minutes so that the ph level of my skin returns to normal and than apply moisturizer. At the moment I am only using this at night because I want to use the Clarisonic facial brush in the AM with a gentle cleanser. Once I am able to see that my breakout have been controlled, I will definitely get the Pink soap since many people have raved about it too.

EDIT - yes - this killed the zits. It also killed my skin. The burning while using - which the product instruction sheet tells you will diminish over time - actually got worse. My mositure barrier was SUFFERING. This might work if you have bad acne and you didn't mind the pain - although I'm not convinced the pain isn't a sign the soap is making it much, much worse. Ay carumba - I went back to the Doctor to get a script for Noritate cream. I also switched to the fragrance free Paula's Choice skin care line to try to bring the sensitivity back under control. So far, so good.

I purchased the Cyclic soap for normal to oily skin, this product has completely destroyed my skin. My skin has completely dryed out and iscovered in red spots, when applying this product to my skin i found that it tingled alot to the extent where my skin was burning. It does not help with acne at all, it only brightens the skin. I will be going back to my Bliss steep clean cleanser also going to use duac gel to treat the jawline acne. I will never buy a hyped up product like the Nano cyclic soap again total waste of money. I would NOT recommend this product to people who have sensitive/acne skin. Total waste of money.

I can honestly say that this is one of the best products I have ever used. Everything about Cyclic has performed so well for me that I buy it for my friends & family because I want them look great also. Cyclic & COR are basically the same product the difference is in the price. So, forget COR. There are two different Cyclic "soaps" formulated for a. the aging & sensitive type & b. the normal to oily skin. I bought both. I first got interested in this product by the blissworld catalog and I called blissworld.com and spoke to a consultant and told her I was concerned about discoloration and asked about COR and she told me that this wasn't really good for me and steared me to their own bliss spot pigmentation product (which I already had) that was the initial way I found out about this "soap" so I didn't purchase it at that time. Then I was at the mall and I saw a girl with the most beautiful complexion and I just went up to her and asked what she uses on her skin. When she said she just washes her face with a soap, I thought she was either geneticily blessed or didn't want to share until she told me that the soap was called Cyclic and I could buy it in the mall and she told me two places I could get it. I of course went directly to the shop and bought Cyclic. It's been 2 months now and my skin is more even toned, smooth and best of all I feel good about how I look. You see all the ads about acne but having discoloration and age spots can be just as disturbing to your self esteem. Cyclic is worth the investment into having clean clear skin and feeling good about yourself.
