I was surprised to see how many people where on the fence about this moisturerizer as I love it! I love the citrus-y smell and I feel like the cream is the right weight- creamy and luxe w/o being greasy and overly thick.
I have been using this during the day along with some of the other Vit C Body Shop products at night and I really feel like my skin is in good shape. Plus it has SPF 15 :)

This day cream is kinda thick.. I have oily skin and this really makes my face super shiny. I've been using this for about a month and I don't see any visible results, nor does my skin feel softer. The smell is quite strong so I'll recommend you go try it in the shops first before buying.
I like the packaging though, the squeeze tube makes it hygienic. And you only need a small amount to cover your face. I got it at 30+ SGD, which was a lil steep for me, but considering how long it can last, maybe it's not that bad. I'm quite undecided on this product, not sure if I'll repurchase this.

I have tried this for a couple of days and I simply dislike it.
I have oily skin and was actually recommended to use this product by the sales staff. God knows why! Even a tiny drop makes my skin feel oily, it doesn't feel like the product gets absorbed into my skin at all.
I believe my chin is starting to breakout because of this and it seems my skin is worse than a week before.
Not buying this again, will just use it as a handcream or something.

I finished my second bottle of this, but I won't rebuy it, since I had a feeling that it made my skin oilier and sweatier these last couple of months. Normally, I have quite normal skin, so this wasn't really the product for me, I guess. Good though, that it has an SPF of 15.

I have really oily skin and tend to break out easily. I really wanted a vit c lotion and was looking for something with spf. I decieded to try this one out. I do agree that it is heavy for oily skin. I do tend to get oily in my tzone after a few hours, but this product has not made me break out. I am not saying my skin is clear, I still do get the occasional blemish, but thats stress related. I use just a drop or two and rub it between my fingers and then massage it on my face.
This does overtime give skin a healthy glow and has helped even out my skin tone as well. My mom has normal skin and it works wonders for her without getting her too oily.
Its definately worth a shot even for people with oily/problem skin, but use very little and watch your skin closely for the first couple of days. The one thing to remember is that whenever a new product is used, initially there might be a blemish or two while the skin is getting used to the product. So bare that in mind. I will definately be purchashing the product again!

I used my tbs $25 rebate to buy this. Singapore is selling this at s$32.90/50ml. This tube I bought is from the new vit c range, it is SPF 30. For this price is not bad, as compared to tbs moisture white shiso SPF 26 PA+++ (S$39.90/30ml). I like the light texture, the smell. I do have some tingly sensation. I just bought this today. Will update again.

I got this on sale so the price was good. The packaging is fine. I like the smell & feel of this lotion going on, but like a couple other reviewers, after a few hours my forehead & t-zone became really oil & shiny.
UPDATE: I am bumping this up to a 4. I have been using it for awhile now and find that my skin is looking really nice. I've also started using a mattyfing primer which takes care of the shinyness.

I really wanted to like this product bcos I've been looking for a vitamin C face lotion for a while for my meh-looking skin so when I saw this and it had vit C AND SPF, I was sold. The price is alright, it's a little more expensive than the other more usual Body Shop skin care ranges but it's not that bad.
As for the product itself, it's not bad. At first I really liked it, I did feel as though my skin glowed a bit more and felt softer and nicer. But then I realized that after a while it feels like an oily mask on my face, really heavy (which is strange because it actually has a light lotion type feel to it, and doesn't appear like something that would be heavy). It also gave me a massive oil slick in my t-zone, the apples of my cheeks AND on my back and chest (when I rubbed a little excess on my hands there). What I suspect is that my skin does NOT like the sunscreen that's in this face lotion. My dry-combination skin tends to have an iffy relationship with sunscreens in some face creams. Its such a pity because other than that, it's a fantastic product and hasn't broken me out at all. I would keep using it but I've been using soooo much powder and blotter since I got it and it's not worth it. Even if it ddnt have the SPF I probably wouldn't re-buy it because I think for a day moisturizer SPF is really important and I already have a HG non-SPF moisturizer.
So I think all in all, if you tend not to have bad reactions to some sunscreens or if you go through loads of powder on a regular basis anyway, this is definitely worth checking out.

Another rave product. Absolutely love this. I loved every product from this range that I've tried so far!
It smells great, that's one thing. It's fresh and citrusy... and makes me feel refreshed.
Great consistency, just the way I like it. I like my moisturiser fluid, not too greasy, and goes on smoothly.
Another good thing about it, it has SPF. Something that most of us would want in facial products. So... was wondering if it's possible that I get this in the summer and use as a facial sunscreen? It's good if I can use it as both a moisturiser and sunscreen... as the price is absolutely wonderful for those two purposes.
But either way, I'm still gonna use it as my moisturiser, love it! =)
There's one thing that I should point out, is that this product is in tube form, and because it's pretty fluid... everytime i open it a little spurts out from the tube... which is quite a waste... and also it causes quite a mess. It would be so awesome if TBS would consider changing it to a pump bottle.

I was pleasantly surprised by this moisturizer. I got it at a buy 2, get one free sale. For reference I have combination-dry skin, wear a vitamin C Avon serum underneath and Loreal Skin Genesis Eye Serum to round out my face moisture.
This comes in an orange tube, very functional looking. I have to keep the tube upside down in my cabinet. Otherwise, it will get too enthusiastic and spurt out too much moisturizer. Other than that - no complaints about the packaging. With this method I get the right "raisin sized" amount that I need.
It smells like orange rings and SPF, which wakes you up in the morning, even though it is a little medicinal. The scent is not strong and I don't notice it unless I look for it.
On to what's important. How does it work? It works REALLY well to moisturize! It is amazing on my cheeks, a problem area for me where I often have to layer moisturizer or use an extra think moisturizer. With this I just massage it in and my primer+foundation look perfect! It leaves a slightly dewy, very fresh look, not greasy. I even use it on my nose.
The only reason that I would not repurchase it that I need something more anti-aging. If this had retinol or some other super-fighter in it, I would buy it forever! I have never been so pleased with the performance (moisture-wise) of a moisturizer for my skin.

I wanted an spf 15 moisturizer for the winter months and plus i like the body shop's vitamin c line so i decided to try this. it smells really yummy it really wakes you up in the morning. the texture is pretty good but i wish it was a bit thicker. its a pretty good makeup base. the only bad thing is i don't think you get enough product for $20 CND.

i have used quite a number of bottles and i really like it..it keeps my skin stable all the while.. however, the moisturising effect is insufficient during winter.. so would be looking for something else once i finish my current bottle..

I have been hunting for a vitamin c product for day that also has spf in it, so I was plenty happy when I finally found this. I have really oily skin so I like to use combo products rather than slather on layer after layer of moisturizers etc. I really love what vitamin c does for my skin but I don't think I can repurchase this. I do believe it makes me breakout, which most spf's do to me unfortunately. I'm really sad because I have to wear spf (soooo much sundamage) but I really want something that is good at reversing sundamage, which I found vitamin c to do well. I guess I'll just have to get a nighttime vitamin c formula and stick with that. Pooh.

When I finish using The Body Shop's SPF 15 Daily Moisturizer with Vitamin C, I won't buy it again. I have combination skin that is oily in places and this moisturizer made my skin look oily and shiny. I liked the orange juice scent when I was squeezing the moisturizer out of the tube. The scent fades. This would be better for a dry skin type, I think. I had to put powder on top of this moisturizer to take away the shine.
