I like this color - I would also describe it as "berry-pinkish with a hint of shimmer." I think this lipstick is a little bit drying, though, so I minused one lippie. I always put on a lip moisturizer after applying this lipstick.

A BERRY TONE lipstick. I'm not too great with describing tones and whatnot, so I'll leave it at that.

The colour looks super dark and BOLD IN THE TUBE.
However, it goes on as a SHEER purpley plum, so the pigmentation of your lips will affect the colour when you apply.
There are TINY FLECKS of SPARKLES, but they're hardly noticeable. Therefore, it's NON-GRITTY. The sparkles DO NOT get all over your face.

I BELIEVE there IS a taste. However, it's too light I don't really notice..and it goes away soon after application anyway.
My mom tried it and said "There's a taste, so I don't like it" (not exactly, but you get what I mean). If you're like my mom, this isn't for you.

Here's a swatch on white paper:

And a swatch on my hand:

Personally, I think this could go with ANY SKINTONE. I only work on my own makeup so I wouldn't know for sure, but I'm pretty sure this could go on anyone (because it's quite sheer).

BUILDABLE colour.

This does BRING OUT THE YELLOW in my teeth, SLIGHTLY. I heard blue-reds bring out the white, but some claim their teeth still look more yellow with those. So anything can happen.

The tube is cute. The tube length is the same as Mac and Anna Sui lipsticks.

A moisturizing lipstick.
Warning: Some of the other Plantlove lipsticks (e.g. Yakushima) are not as moisturizing...refer to the testers before buying.

Staying power...um it's a lipstick so for me, I just apply after doing my makeup in the morning and after meals.
It gets on to your drink cup (but lipsticks usually do)
Personally, I don't mind reapplying lip products.

I DO NOT use lipliner. The shade is on the dark side, but it's still SHEER and a bit GLOSSY.
Bah, I never use lipliner (Non-bleeding lipstick=good lipstick).

The tube (a little under 7.5cm long)

Here's the scariness in the tube:

Repurchase is actually a maybe. I bought this during my sheer lipsticks phase, which has long passed. But summed up, not a bad lippie. ;)

I really love this lip color. It is a sheer deep ruby with just the tiniest hint of shimmer. You can see the shimmer in the lipstick itself, but it's hard to detect once on your lips. I've been looking for a great red lipstick for a long time- nothing too bright or too shiny or too opaque or too think, and this one is just right. I rarely use a lipstick up, but I just may with this one, and then I would definitely buy another.

Purchased this in the Berry Love gift set, so the price was very reasonable. I like to layer the Geneva Pocket Gloss over this when I want more color and shine.

My best lipstick purchase of the year so far!

This get 5 lippies for the earth-friendly packaging alone. I like the color, too. Sephora describes it as a Sheer berry plum. On me it's more red-berry, than plum-berry. It is sheer and has a little shine to it. Its a nice color and feels nice on the lips. This one seems to be a little more moisturizing than the other PlantLove I have (Yellowstone). I will definitely be buying more.

I agree with everything stated below. I'm also a quite fair, NC-20, cool undertones. Cece's a really lovely shade and adds that perfect pop/flush to my lips. A real highlight! Plus, I love that it's environmentally friendly!

This is a gorgeous rich berry plum color and the texture is perfection. Its light and yet gives a great color payoff and is still sheer. You can layer it for more intensity. I think its the very best shade in this new Cargo PlantLove lipstick. It is sheer and yet almost matte and has good lasting power. There appears to be some shimmer in this lipstick but I don't really notice it on my lips. It just keeps it from looking too flat. This could reach HG status for me. I knew it the instant I put it on and predict this will be a big hit with lots of MUAers. It is a great modern looking lipstick and I also find it to be moisturizing. I would have bought it the first week it was out, but my local Sephora was out of it. Luckily, I checked back this week and they had more. I love it. Highly recommend. $20 at Sephora. Works great with my skin tone, which is PPP (MAC NC20) neutral to warm and really looks nice with my green eyes. You gotta try this one; its gorgeous.
