Ok im not an expert but i do know how to apply blush and this brush does not do it! i have sensitive skin and it hurts yes it hurts! but the main problem for me is that the blush seems to stay in only one area after you apply and in order to spread it in a better way you have to use your fingers cause that works better than this brush. I bought it only because it was so cheap i will never buy anything from this line again.

Surprisingly, I love this brush. Coming from having nothing but more expensive brushes, this one surprised me. It works great for the bronzer I use (keep in mind i am very light skinned and apply things with a LIGHT hand). This works great for ME, but if you have a blush that needs to be packed on or darker skin, it may not be the brush for you.

I bought it at Dollarama. The quality is not good. I will continue to use my Ecotools brushes.

I'm surprised by all the negative reviews. I guess I like to put blush on lighter than most people cause I think this picks up the perfect amount of product for a quick swipe on each cheekbone. I use my fingers to use a liquid highlighter so never tried this for contouring.

I honestly hate this brush with a passion. It wasn't till later in my makeup addiction that I discovered E.L.F. cosmetics. I love many of their products, but this didn't really cut it doe me. It hurt to put blush on my cheeks, I know it's only $1 but a lot of the products in the essential line are good quality, just not this one. I also have sensitive skin so I feel like it contributed to this problem. Wouldn't recommend this product, try going for the studio line brushes for $2 more and much better quality.

I absolutely love this brush. I only wish there was more fullness to it.

This might not be the softest of brushes but mine is soft enough and it picks up just the right amount of pigment for me (which is not too much, I rather build up the pigmentation if that's the look I'm going for). As with a lot of ELF products, quality seems to vary a lot, and mine is totally ok. I have no need to find an expensive replacement for this.

it felt a bit harsh on the skin at first, but with the right technice is good for getting just a tiny bit of blush on :)

I have EcoTool's Blush Brush, which is a lot dense, bigger and softer than this one, but I was having trouble using it sometimes because it IS so dense. It normally picks up too much of my super pigmented high-end blushes and I have a hard time getting a 'soft' look.

This E.L.F. brush, on the other hand, is PERFECT for applying only a little bit of blush. I also get better application control because it's a lot smaller than the EcoTools brush and also angled, which makes it helpful for contouring. I don't find it scratchy like everyone else (obviously, it's not as soft as EcoTools, but then again, it was only $1!) and I was actually surprised at the quality of it. I'll buy it again if it breaks, just because it's capable of so much! :)

So i cant really say this brush is bad becuz it was only a $1 so how much can you really expect paying a dollar lol its pretty scratchy the bristles are not soft at all this brush makes my B.E brushes feel soft lol i really only use it right now for my translucent oil powder so i prolly would not buy this brush again i think ill just pay the extra $2 and get the studio line ones (black handle)

A 2 would have to do. The brush is not too scratchy but it feels uncomfortable on your skin. It's a lot better than the kabuki included in the Maybelline Illuminator which I was using before. I'll use this brush until I find a better one.

I got this brush because it was $1 and I wanted a blush brush that I could easily tell apart from my 2 E.L.F. studio blush brushes. I can now see why these ones are cheaper.. The bristles are really prickly and bad quality, I immediately tossed it. It's crazy because for $2 more you can get the studio line blush brushes which are great. If you are doing an E.L.F haul and want brushes, stick to the studio line (the ones that are all black) -- it's well worth the extra 2 bucks!

I really like the angle of the brush and the size.

However, the bristles are quite rough and not completely nice on the skin. And it sheds.

The great thing about this brush though, is that it's brilliant for using with highly pigmented blushes, because it doesn't pick up too much and makes it a lot easier to build up the colour. As I use a lot of very pigmented Sleek blushes, that is a very important factor for me :-)

I suppose for a dollar it's a good enough brush.

I agree with the previous reviewer, this brush sheds/bleeds. I've had it for about 1 week and it is practically fallen apart. Not a winner in the ELF brush line.

This product also sheds and smells bad, just like the total face brush. When I washed it after purchasing it, a lot of dye came out and turned the water a muddy brown color. It also doesn't apply evenly.
