So far, I am completely in love with this product. I had gotten a few free samples of it from a big box of kiehl's stuff I had gotten last christmas and liked it but couldn't bring myself to pay full price for it. I found a bag of kiehls products that included a 1.7 ounce bottle of this and splurged. I am so happy with it! I don't have a lot of fine lines yet but I had terrible dark spots/ acne scarring from previous years and this stuff is already starting to make a huge difference, more noticeably than even my retin a micro did. It's also very moisturizing and my face has been feeling soft and smooth all day, no mid day dryness or oiliness, like it has somehow balanced out my problem areas. Bottom line, definitely improves overall texture and working amazingly well at fading my scarring/ dark spots, layers well with other moisturizers, and even heard it works well with retinol. Like all Kiehls products, a little pricy but worth trying!

An amazing product. Vitamin C products seems to do well with my skin .
Texture- the white thick lotion - sinks in immediately on application. This product does not *sit* on top of skin at all. I use 3 pumps for my entire face and it goes right in .
I was told there would be a slight warm tingly sensation when I apply which is true and happens. It still happens with each application but I like the sensation !
Results after one application- immediate comfort and the morning after my skin felt and looked less dry .
Results after 2 weeks and these were 2 hard weeks of long haul flying ....my skin looks great ,glowing , supple ,no breakouts and I dare say my small marionette lines are somewhat reduced.
This pairs really well with Kiehls' Powerful Wrinkle Reducing Cream which I bought as well .

Its time to give Kiehl's the well deserved credit. I have been using this for the past 3 months and it seems to make my skin looks and feels more supple and clear. No breakout. However, I have to admit that I am layering 3 kiehls products at one go each night. I start with this as the base then the midnight recovery plus the clearly corrective spot solution as the last.. So maybe the results is a combination of the 3.

This product is amazing! It helps with overall tone and texture while preventing and correcting fine lines and wrinkles. Considering how much true skin care can cost, it is very reasonably price. I dont really understand why some people are writing reviews on this product when they have only used it once from a sample. I think its unrealistic for someone to believe a product would make all of their lines disappear in one day. Skin care is about daily maintance. There is no such thing as a quick fix and addtionally you get what you put in to your skin. Your never going to see a result if you dont take care of your skin full circle (moisturize, daily sunscreen). This product helped with my hormonal scarring and I can see a difference in the size of my pores. The bonus to this product is it does not make you photo sensitive like Retinol but offeres the same benifits. The only thing is the vitamin C can be sometimes too intense when my eczema is inflamed so I have to use a little less or skip it that night.

I like this serum. I am always careful with Vitamin C products as my skin sometimes can be very sensitive with products containing fruit acid. So I first tried it with a small sample Kiehl's posted it to me and I think it was really nice so I bought a big bottle (75ml). The bottle lasted me for 3 months so for £60 I think it is reasonable. It does not come with a strong fragrance but a slight orangy citrusy smell which I find quite fresh. The texture of the serum is very creamy and rich, but surprisingly it is not very oily after all and didn't cause any breakout. It gives a warm sensation when you apply on your face which I find it very interesting. I was very impressive with its whitening and brightening effect! To be honest I think the whitening effect is actually better than their Clearly Corrective Dark Spot Solution. I saw a big improvement in my discolouration around my cheeks (freckles) and on the spot/blemish marks as well. I also find my skin become more smooth, clear and radiant with a healthy glow. I haven't have any lines or wrinkles yet so I can't really test on the line-reducing ability but I guess if you start using it before any of these appear it should be able to help you to delay it from happening. Another thing I really like about this serum is it can actually heal your scar faster! Everytime when I have spot and poped it, with this serum it heals much faster and better without leaving any marks. The only thing you need to be careful is when it comes to the end, the serum become much more concentrated so it starts burning my skin a little bit. I believe I will using it until the summer and see whether it is too rich or not.

Ok, I have received just a sample. I use it on my smile lines around my mouth, which being 31 years old I really hate these lines! This product i dab on the area, and kinda pat it in, it's kinda warm and soft feeling on my skin, which is lovely. The lines really plump up, it's kinda amazing...like instantly! Ok I can't tell how long that lasts maybe hours? But I think if I use it more, it will really help...I will update this review soon. So far? I want to purchase the full size, just not sure as to use it all over, or just spots. I also tried this around my eyes, and no irritation.

I wish they had a "possibly" option on purchase again. I use this product on and off. It does give you a nice glow but I don't see much in the way of line reduction. Not the best c product I have used but not the worst either.

i was pleased to get a sample of this product and keen to use it as it appeared to address some of my beauty needs. it looked and felt lovely and smooth on - maybe a little too silicone smooth - BUT it left me with a face full of clogged pores, something i've never seen before and hope never to see again ;-)

luckily i don't have oily skin, so it didn't turn into a full-blown blackhead situation, but if you do have concerns in this area, you have been warned ;-)

i had to resort to some heavier duty skin care than i normally like in order to get my skin's texture back to normal. should i have persisted to see if i got better results? frankly one experience was more than enough :D

I thought this was a pretty good vit c serum. It goes on velvety soft and warm, which I really like. I noticed a big difference in the brightness and tone of my skin a few weeks into daily use.
I stopped using this in favor of Skinceuticals C E ferulic, and I'll continue to use C E ferulic because it's stronger and tightens better, but if I ever found myself in a bind and unable to fork over the cash for Skinceuticals, I wouldn't mind getting this again.

I just recently bought a small packet of this, and I find this to be to harsh for my skin. I've only used this 3 times and I noticed that the lines under my eyes only became worst after using this. Will not ever use under my eyes again.

I have used this product for about 4 months. I can't see any difference in the quality of my skin, the texture, the elasticity or pore size. I was really disappointed because I heard so many good things about this company in beauty magazines.
But this product does nothing for me. I'm 58, fair,with good skin to begin with, but I was hoping for some visible difference. Not yet!

I like this better than the other Vitamin C Serums I have tried, but I still don't notice an improvement in skin texture, color, or fine lines.


Pros: Product housed in dark glass bottle with hygienic lockable pump. The formula feels moisturizing and contains a recommended concentration of Vitamin C.


Cons: Expensive product with, in my experience, very little pay off. Runs out quickly if used regularly (Although this is also a good thing, to an extent, as Vitamin C Serums don't have a long shelf life)

This serum feels very silicone based and every time I use it my skin will turn bumpy and somewhat uncomfortable. As this is expensive and we do not have a return policy where I live I am using this on my neck to finish it up.

I was so excited when Kiehl's finally came to Canada and I purchased this in hopes that it would resurface my skin's texture. Unfortunately, this product was way too harsh on my skin because it is such a high concentration of vitamin c. I think this would be more beneficial with people that have more mature skin. I started breaking out pretty bad after a couple of days, probably because this product dried my skin out so bad that the over-production of oil clogged my pores. I stopped using it and returned it.

I was given a good amount of samples of this product from the Nordstrom counter, and although I must agree that the texture is a little strange and sticky at times, I definitely noticed a difference in my face after a couple of weeks.

Before i tried this product I was very frustrated with the dullness and blotchiness in my skin, and I was beginning to just think I needed to surrender to the fact age was starting to show... but I started combining this in my regimen of ROC products at night, and alternating with this serum and I saw a big difference and really felt that my skin looked like it was glowing again.

Yay!

I got a delux sample when I made a purchase online back in December. It was .17fl.oz./5ml. It lasted quite a while and I for 12+ uses out of it. I only used it at night after cleansing, toner, and softener. I was going through a rough phase with my skin as it was congested and was forming some oil bumps. I went to Ulta to buy some AHA but the sales lady convinced me to buy the $119 Kinerase lotion which I did. I used it for a week and returned it. The I realized I had gotten a sample of this and tried it. My congestion reduced day by day and today it is back to normal. It says to avoid the eye area, but since I developed some oil bumps under my eyebrows I put it there anyways but no irritation. There were two surprises I didn't expect either. I noticed more pores on my nose are much more refined and smaller! I've been using the murad pomegranate serum which did make my pores smaller, but this concentrate made it even more smaller and smoother. The other is that I did not have 1 pimple before my period. I usually get 1 or 2 pimple days before my period come but not this time and this was the only thing I changed in my routine.
Now that it is getting warmer here in Los Angeles, I find the concentrate too hot to use. LOL! It does feel warm when you put it on your face.

Good lord, feels like I'm rubbing glue on my skin. I don't know about line-reducing claim, but it has definitely lightened my acne blemishes, refined my pores and lightened my complexion in just two weeks. That's major visible improvement for a 7-year acne sufferer like me. Works best as a before bedtime treatment, and best part doesn't break me out. None of the products in their dermatologist's line break people out apparently.

But I won't be purchasing this again, its just WAY too expensive as a night treatment (SGD132?!). Massaging jojoba oil into my skin does just as well. Good to have if you're travelling somewhere for a while and want to streamline the number of nighttime face treatment products you're carrying along with you.

EDIT: Turned rancid within just 3 months even before I had gotten halfway through the bottle :( ! Must be the hot and humid weather of Singapore. Guess it has to be stored in the refrigerator (now, why didn't the salesperson tell me that?) Once it turns a bright orange, chuck it.

This product seems to plump up my skin and does seem to get rid of lines and give my skin a youthful glow. I have been using it for about one week now. I have not had problems with acne or anything, or any irritation either. Also, around my eyes the skin looks younger. This is the most remarkable change, the smoothing of the skin around the eyes, along with the plumping. This is one of the good serums out there and it gives the plumping and smoothing that i'm looking for.

I really wanted to like this, and did after using the free sample for a week. Two weeks after buying the bottle I had blackheads and pores larger than I'd ever seen them before... Blackheads where I never had them before, even as a teen! (I'm 47). I've never had such a negative reaction to any product. Stopped using it on my face, and use it now on my hands, where I don't fear the development of blackheads, but didn't want to totally waste the product! Bummer.
