This product is great. There are no visible shimmer or glitter particles at all- it appears to be a glowy dust type product to the naked eye. When applied, this highlight has a cool ethereal look that is subtle but it can be built up to something more substantial. I like that it is a cool toned highlight, something that can be difficult to find at times. I believe that I received a product that has inferior packaging in that my compact seemed to make the powder cake crumble when it snapped shut. Even when shut extremely carefully, it would still crumble especially in the first three months of ownership. Due to this inescapable crumbling, I have been going through Lightscapade faster than I would have hoped. I have owned this highlight maybe five months and the dome is completely used up already. Still, I enjoy the look it brings and will continue to repurchase.

-Gorgeous soft cool white sheen
-Medium pigmentation (which I find is great because it's build able and more natural)
-Does not look patchy/uneven (might look patchy if you pile heaps of layers on but that's a given with most powder highlights)
-Pretty to look at in compact! (superficial I know, but still)

One of my favourite highlighters so far; if you have skin darker than NC30, I think it'd be even more subtle so it's probably best for light skin tones (but YMMV!)

I AM IN LOVE WITH THIS.

I have been trying to find a highlighter that works well on fair skin (I'm NW 20) as well as not looking cakey and emphasizing fine lines and pores, and this does not do that for me!

I have tried the physicians formula mineral glow pearls highlight and I've even used some light champagne/ light yellow/pale golds on my face for a highlight that STILL emphasizes my crater pores and ages me by 15 years by sitting in my fine lines around my eyes, so I began to think my search for the perfect highlight was coming to an end as I couldn't find one that would best suit me.

I have oily/acne prone/sensitive skin and I was also scared to try anything that might aggravate and irritate my skin. I read reviews on this website before buying this and I was torn between theBalm's Mary Loumanizer and MSF Lightscapade, and I'm so glad I bought this one!

This will last you forever! I haven't even made a dent in it yet! And it doesn't sink into pores or sit in fine lines and it's such a subtle pretty glow from within!
Also, the colours that are in it look so beautiful! I love the pale gold, peach and lavender all swirled together to give skin radiant luminosity!

For fair skinned people out there, this is beautiful if you're into a subtle highlight (it also is buildable if you want a more intense look...I've tried it! But for everyday wear, it's perfect)
I think this will look good in all skin tones, but for fair skinned people, this is also wonderful as we cannot find very many products that work well with our skin tones.
Again, BEAUTIFUL. I highly Highly HIGHLY recommend this!

Favourite highlighter! I am not the biggest fan of highlighting due to my combo skin but this highlight isn't as intense as the balms loumanizer or beccas highlighters. If you want an intense highlight I suggest to not get this. I love using this on top of my cheek bones and above my brows to highlight my high points without looking oily. The highlighter isn't chunky with parts of glitter. It applies evenly and lasts all day. The only con is the packaging. Ever since they have got new packaging (the magnet) I feel like the lid is gonna break off every time I try open it! I would definitely repurchase though

When I first viewed this online, I completely ruled it out and thought it would only work well for lighter skin tones.

I WAS WRONG.

Being of a darker complexion and having oily skin, I often find it hard to find nice highlights but when I went into my local MAC store, I swatched it (blended it in and all that jazz); it added a nice subtle glow and I had to purchase!

PROS:
works well for ALL skin types
a little goes a long way
doesn't look bad on oily skin
very smooth texture
No random chunks of glitter floating around

CONS:
Price ... Although, this isn't really a con imo, a little goes a long way with this product and it lasts! Usually, it takes about a year to completely run out.

My fave highlighter of all time! Can't go wrong w this ....dramatic highlight! Lovely sparklies nearly impossible to dupe (I've tried a few like Physicians Formula, wnw, Becca, Nars, elf, et al. highlighters which are all good but they aren't Lightscapade! I do also love me some MAC MSF in Soft & Gentle however). It is so glam glow in the Fall/Winter I will be doing Lightscapade more but I still think I will get wear out of MAC MSF Soft & Gentle. If you have both of these you are set!! I love MAC n worth every penny.

I LOVE THIS!! this product is probably everything you wanted in a highlighter. it's smooth and doesn't emphasis acne or bumps. so so buildable and lasts all day. the perfect highlighter for pale skin. it doesn't have glitter in it which is such a good thing. my holy grail

So even though I only recently started using highlighter every day, I have 3 of them. I keep all of them in my everyday makeup because I love them all so much I want to have them close by. This one was my most recent purchase. I almost bought this when I opted for Soft & Gentle as my first highlighter, but I couldn't stop thinking about how pretty this one was. So on my next trip to the MAC counter at Nordstrom, I purchased it. The product itself is just mesmerizing to look at, with the swirl of beautiful colors. This is the lightest one I have, and also the most subtle (the 3rd one is Becca Moonstone), but it is quickly becoming my favorite. I'm an NW15-20, and I don't really recommend it for any skin tones darker than medium. I think it would be too light/washed out.

I love this one! I don't think this is a product for someone who like a really intense highlight like becca champange pop cause it's way more natural but still definitely shows up on the skin. I love it for my NC10-15 skin cause it's so light and it does not have an overpowering yellow (nars albatross) or pink undertone to it which is nice. I find that compared to soft n gentle this one has finer shimmer in it which makes it more natural tho I like both of them but I think lightscapade really compliments lighter skintones.
