I rediscovered this gem yesterday while weeding through my collection. These NC30-ish lips are quite happy with the cool toned frosty silver-mauve of Danse, although I find it dissimilar to Pink Maribu which I also own. I would quickly repurchase this lipstick if it were offered again!

Normally I can't keep a lipstick on for over 30 minutes. Today I wore Danse which I've owned for quite some time. The color is beautiful as others described with a high but gorgeous frost. It lasted all day even when I ate and drank. Love this lipstick. :)

Received in a swap last week, just trying it out today. Love the color on it's own, but it also makes a great base for lipglass (today i have Oyster Girl over it). I do agree that the frostiness makes my very badly behaved skin stand out more, and i wish in general that it were a little less frosty and a little more.....lustre? i dunno. but, the color is great for me (PPP/green eyes/blonde hair). I might have to get a backup............

I swatched this lipstick at counters and waited for ages before finally getting it (lack of funds!). It's a lovely pink-plum frosty shade, VERY frosty so beware if you aren't fond of frosts. I like it quite a lot, it is an easy lipstick to use and match, but it does dry my lips out quite a bit. I probably wouldn't buy this again, actually, because MAC is constantly coming out with new lipsticks and this isn't really a HG.
EDIT : After using it a few times, i love it and it has definitely become my HG (over Pink Cabana!). It's dry, but that helps it to stay on lips longer, and i love how easy this is to wear day after day. I'ld definitely repurchase if i could..
RE-EDIT : Sorry for being so fickle, but i'm taking this off the HG list. Simply because it looks fantastic when my skin looks great, but the frostiness somehow really accentuates any zits i have and i just look.. over made-up. Back to the search for HG lipstick!

This is a very pretty color. It's a light pink frost (but not "porn" frosty, in my opinion). It reminded a bit of Pink Maribu (though not as pink) which is one of my favorite lipsticks right now. I don't think Danse is super special - I think you could achieve this lip look with a lot of other lipsticks. It also doesn't seem to last as long on me as other frost lipsticks by Mac. I would not repurchase.

I have read the reviews already posted for this lipstick and I do agree, an NC30/35 complexion is going to have trouble wearing it ... having said that, and despite the warnings, I still bought Danse. On my wrist it looks great, bright pink with silver sparkles. Lovely. On my lips - well, it washed me out completely - giving me horrible frosted lips. Then to the rescue - MAC's new creamstick pearl lipliner in Lush-n-lilac. All those warm toned gals out there need a staple plummy lipliner and this is it (replacing my staple YSL no. 11). Put this on, and I guarantee, Danse looks a whole lot better. Now it looks like it does on the back of my hand!

Danse is gorgeous, pure freshness and russian ballerina charm. The pink gives it tutu-innocence while the frostiness confers mystery and depth. Perfect to wear with a pale face, oversized clothes, tulle skirts, skinny jeans, a line of cake liner and a puff of MAC's well-dressed blush.
I also wore it with bronzer on vacation and then I got a very cute beach-bunny-Sports Illustrated model look out of it. Add a dab of MAC's en pointe gloss in center lower-lip and men will get weak at knees.

I don't know when I will learn that I can't wear MAC Frosts if they are a lightish color. Danse looked so pretty in the tube, a plummy pink with shimmer. And then I put it on. Frost city, sinking into every line of my line-y lips. And the color washed me out a bit, too. I can imagine this looks great on a lot of people, I'm just not one of them.

Danse is such a beautiful color - looks similar to Pink Maribu in the tube, but is actually quite different on. Danse is lighter (although still a nice pop of color) and has almost a metallic finish. It's the perfect plummy-rose-pink lipstick... great for everyday wear. I love it so much that I bought 2 backups, and I'm certain I'll go through them all. ♥

I love Danse! It is a lighter version of Pink Maribou. The MUA applied it with Pink Treat liner and Pas De Deux. Great combination!

I thought this was so pretty in the store but it looks awful on me. I have an NC30 light olive complexion with yellow undertones and brown hair. This looks so pink with a soft lilac undertone to it. Almost like a barbie doll metallic pink but not as bright. Hideous with my skintone. Its just too cool toned for me. Its also really frosty and metallic. Returning this one.

i waited for two weeks for this lip color to come out! my mac artist did a preview of it on my face on my way to an interview on dec.13th...
i love it; a modern version of lancome's champagne.
it is not too frosty, and plummy enough without being too purple. i dont know how to say it,but maybe 'it's just right for a plum/pink frost' will make some sense in describing it.

Danse is a gorgeous mauvey frosty rose colour Its nothing like Pink Maribu though its being compared to that colour. Its similar to High Strung but less silvery.
