I always get compliments from guys when I wear this. To me it smells like a very tart blueberry with a warm vanilla base. It's very strong - just one spray is enough and lasts all day. I prefer the original fantasy as I find this one has a somewhat 'soapy' smell to it though...and funnily enough the other week someone complimented me whilst wearing this and said I smelt of "nice shampoo". Still, I find it nice and a good autumn/winter scent.

I have repurchased this a few times over the years. When it was first released it was one of my favourites I preferred it over the originally "Fantasy". Not so overly sweet or the vanilla fragrance. My last bottle I bought I was 19 (23 now) it was on special. I believe I ended up throwing it out because it ended up collecting dust in my room. I did recommend it. It's a nice smelling perfume. Just too sweet for me and my scents have changed over the years I was once a avid perfume collector I would wear perfume every day without fail but for some reason now I get headaches from certain perfumes so now I wore perfume on special occasions (dinners, going out)

This is a very sweet and fruity perfume. It has a very strong berry scent and is very sweet, but lacks the strong vanilla scent of the original Fantasy. It is a very strong fragrance and it has good staying power. The bottle is gorgeous and the diamante crystals don't fall off it, which shows that it really is good quality. I do enjoy this scent, I am on my second bottle of it. I started wearing it in high school when I was around 17 but now I am 21, I don't find myself attracted to it as much as I once was. It is a very young fragrance and I would recommend it to any teenagers or high-schoolers however, I feel that I have now outgrown it and that is the only reason I will not repurchase. I do love the Fantasy range of perfumes though, particularly the original. A good quality product.

Clear, thick, smooth and syrupy. The plum and cherry notes blend together wonderfully to a mixture that reminds me of sugared berries or grapes. I was scared that Midnight Fantasy would smell very sour because of the cherry and plum, but this is not the case at all, I think it smells delicious! This is a great perfume for winter and autumn evenings.

There is some sourness when worn in hot weather, but it's not supposed to be a summer scent anyway. The sweetness is very different from the other Fantasies, it's a bit richer and darker, I love that about MF. Out of all the BS fragrances I own, MF is my favourite. It's very fruity and juicy. I can't smell the vanilla at all.

It easily lasts 12 hours and like most fragrances in the Fantasy line this is also very heavy and rich. I feel like more than 3 sprays of this might suffocate people around you. Use sparingly. This one is also very affordable.

Let me start by saying, I have very expensive perfumes, moderately expensive, and inexpensive perfumes. Some of my expensive perfumes don't last as long as my less expensive perfumes. With that said, Midnight Fantasy is at towards the top of my list as one of my favorites, and it is also the least expensive fragrance I own. It's so perfectly sweet and fruity; I've never smelled anything like it. I get so many compliments when I wear it. I have been a fan of this perfume since I was a teenageer, and I still love and wear it at almost 30 years old. I don't put an age limit on fragrances I wear, I believe in wearing whatever fragrance you enjoy, and I still wear this scent regularly. I probably always will. It's just a great scent, and you can find it at the drugstore for about $20 for a full 3.4 ounce bottle. What's not to love? ;D

I'm generally not a fruity scent lover -- esp youthful & candy-sweet ones -- but this smells really good! Sweet & fruity, yet in the best possible way.

It's a bit unique-smelling to me, really -- it doesn't smell *red or pink*-fruity, like most of them do these days -- it actually smells *purple or blue*-fruity, to my nose. A bit like "blue raspberry"-flavored slushies, freezer pops, or candies -- maybe due to the combination of plum and raspberry notes.

Others that come to mind -- BBW Sugar Plum Dream or Sparkling Blackberry Woods -- or maybe Vict Secret Love Spell or Endless Love. These also have a "purple or blue"-fruited scent, to my recollection.

Launched in 2007, here are the notes, per parfumo.net:

Top Notes - Raspberry, Plum, Sour cherry
Heart Notes - Freesia, Iris, Orchid
Base Notes - Amber, Musk, Vanilla

For its genre, this is a very pretty scent, IMHO. I'm wayy older than their targeted market, but I've liked all the Britney Spears perfumes I've tried, including Curious & original Fantasy (wrote separate review for each).

To say i'm disappointed in this fragrance is an understatement. I really had high hopes for it given the good reviews it has here on makeupalley.com. Midnight Fantasy is an okay berry fragrance and it lasts a long time too. It's just that it smells cheap. Like some hideous body spray you can get at a drug store. I really enjoyed Curious, Fantasy and Summer Fantasy but something about this just screams cheap. Also, to me, it's not very feminine either....kind of masculine. Try and imagine Axe body spray with some berries mixed in. Some blackberries, blueberries and maybe raspberry. The scent still manages to maintain the sweet, cupcake vibe that the original Fantasy so i thought that was nice. Midnight Fantasy isnt so bad that i'll go home tonight and throw away my bottle....i'll use the rest of it but i just wont buy it again. The bottle, though, is beautiful. A wonderful deep, deep blue with pretty rhinestones embedded in the bottle. I wish the scent was as expensive smelling and as nice as the bottle. Oh well....you cant win um all.

My favorite perfume by my favorite pop star. This has such a pleasant fruity smell to it, I just love it so much. I alllllwayyyyys get compliments when I wear it, people will always tell me that I smell really good lol. I can't find it in stores anymore which is a major bummer, but at least there is always Amazon.
I find that it doesn't last throughout the day for very long, but still long enough.
