I am so pleased with all the Cargo products that I have used so far. I started off purchasing the Blu-Ray concealer and powder and was so impressed that I went back to Ulta and purchased the foundation, bronzer, some eyeshadow and the magic brush. This by far is my current favorite foundation. I have been using some Retinol products at night and while I do apply sunscreen as part of my morning skin care routine, the Retinol is causing some redness on my cheeks. Other foundations were not covering well enough and I was having to use concealer with my foundation. This was fine until the foundation would start wearing off before the concealer and by the end of the day i would be a lotched up mess!

This product provides a medium to high coverage but doesn't feel heavy or cakey on my skin. It goes on smooth, blends well and sets to a velvet smooth finish. When I look at my skin under a 10x microscopic mirror, I can barely see my pores and the foundation does not settle into my pores. I have been using this in tandem with Cargo Blu-Ray activating primer and then take Dr. Brandt's "Pores no More" primer across my cheeks and nose. The combination of all of these products and then set with Cargo Blu-Ray pressed powder makes my complexion look and feel flawless (trust me it isn't). This combination also seems to last about 8-10 hours with no touch-up.

I adore this foundation! Let me begin by saying that this is the first liquid foundation that I have purchased and continued to use past a week. I always end up going back to my MAC studio fix powder. I just can't stand the feeling of liquid foundation on my face, and figured that liquid just wasn't for me... UNTIL I tried Cargo. It is so light and dries beautifully without a lot of powder needed to set it. Additionally, I have never been able to find a perfect matched foundation until trying this. F-20 seems to be made just for me :)

I don't find this to be a medium or full coverage... more on the light side, but it is definitely buildable. On areas that I need more coverage I just apply a second thin layer and it covers beautifully. I hated the packaging at first because it isn't very cute, but it is extremely functional and I have grown to prefer this.

Also, I have pretty oily skin and this foundation alone seems to control any shine... I don't use a primer.

Highly recommend!

Probably my favorite summer foundation. It's perfect for hot sticky Southern weather. It's light & I love how easy it is to find a neutral or yellow undertone shade. I apply w/ a beautyblender egg for a light almost not there application & with a foundation brush for a heavier application. It has a dewy finish and I doubt it could ever be a matte look. The tube holds 70% more foundation than the average 1oz bottle/tube at 1.7oz. so it has that going for it in the price department. The smell does take some getting used to. There's just no reason for it.

I love this foundation! The color match is perfect for my fair/yellow toned skin. I love that it has nylon, which helps to make it seemless when blending. I use with my cargo magic brush and this foudation looks airbrushed.

I think my HG has been found, after spending years trying to find something perfect. This foundation feels like nothing on, yet gives light-medium coverage. Its buildable, luminous, looks like my skin but on steroids better. I used MAC Pro Longwear before this and had to switch since my skin was becoming drier due the winter weather. I'm between NC20 and NC25, I'm wearing F40. Both F40 and F20 worked for me but F40 worked with my yellow undertone better. F30 was too pink for my liking.

I like the light, air tight, easy to travel/store/eco pakaging. The scent is mild, texture smooth, & goes on easy. It's my top 2 fav (the other being Smashbox Camera Ready full coverage creme compact). I have liverspot/age spot, & all sorts of spots on my face, so this being medium coverage, does a pretty good job in making things look better but it's not magic, so ...
Go try it first to get good color match. I bought their Blue Ray Primer to use w/ it. It's very silky & suppose to make you so good even on Blue Ray.

I like this foundation a lot. I was wearing MAC pro longwear, but I felt it was too heavy and my skin didn't look natural. I went to estee lauder awhile back and the girl who was helping was wearing this foundation. Her skin looked great, but her skin was perfect too. At that time, mine was awful.

So, I'm in my 4th month of accutane and my skin is beautiful! No pimples, no scars, NOTHING! so this is perfect if you don't have a lot to cover up and just want to even out your skin tone. It last all day for me, and doesn't become too oily. It's natural and even my derm said my skin looked great!

I'm an f-50 and a nc 40 in pro longwear.

However, I do not like the price. I don't know how long this will last me and the price was a bit much. We will see!

Pros: I like the idea of the packaging on this a lot. I also found a perfect match for my yellow based NC 30 Filipino skin in F-30. Evened out my skin pretty well.

Cons: I have serious skin with lots of scarring. While this didn't cause any new breakouts, I found it didn't give me enough coverage. I tried a bunch of applications from regular foundation brush and stippling brush to my fingers. It's a pretty lightweight foundation with the buildability of water. Probably best for those who just need to get rid of redness.

I love this stuff! I have very light skin with warm undertones and the F-20 shade is an exact match, something I have a lot of trouble finding. I use it over a primer and mattifier (a must for my super oily skin) and I get great staying power out of it, even when I'm in a rush and skip the priming step. The coverage is great, I would say about moderate but I like to use a concealer on my red post-acne spots and then use a lighter application of the foundation. This has a semi-matte finish and looks very natural (I hate the made-up look), it just seems to sink right into my skin instead of sitting on top of it and looking mask-like or cakey. I've never had a break-out from this and it doesn't oxidize on my oily skin, it's just perfect. This truly is HG status, I'd give it 10 lippies if I could!

This is a great foundation for those with little to no acne. I have light/moderate acne, so this does an okay job. I love how it looks when I put it on in the morning, but over the day it starts to ware off, even when I use a primer. Once I clear up my face, this will receive a 5/5. So if you are trying to cover up acne, I reccommend using a foundation like Illuminare because it provides heavy coverage and is non comedogenic.

This would've been my HG, but it does not give me the coverage that i need. I have redness and a few blemishes that does not cover completely.

HG ALL THE WAAYY!!! I love this foundation, it gives me medium coverage with a lightweight feel. Doesn't clog my pores and keeps me oil free all day. I set it with CARGO's blu-ray powder and it's amazing. I use the ULTA brand "beauty blender" to apply this and it just glides on with it's super-creamy texture. I always use a primer though, but it's much smoother than others I've used. It lasts through a day of work for me (6-7 hours of lifting boxes, sweating and walking around). The packaging is genius, it's easy to travel with and it smells good without smelling too perfumed. I bought the lightest shade and I'm NC15.

Are you kidding me? This is totally HG!!! It's one of those things when you think "Where have you been all my life???" Perfect! It doesn't break me out, which is already enough for me to give it a high rating. It covers really well. I apply with my fingers, cannot stand those nasty brushes. You do have to moisturize well if you are dry. It looks very natural and lasts all day. I have repurchased multiple times. I don't care about the price if it is the only thing that works. I have very sensitive breakout-prone skin that stings, gets red etc. This is amazing. Never had any problems with it. This and the new Garnier moisture gel. I use it before Cargo fnstn and it looks just perfect. Sephora is stupid for discontinuing the line. This stuff is a real gem, you have to run to get it from ulta or order online, I order from dermstore or beauty. com. I'm very fair, NC15, my shade is F20, matches 100%. Nobody even can guess I'm wearing anything on my face. Get asked all of the time what skincare I use. I just secretly laugh....Try it, you'll like it and will never look back...

I have oily skin, and was looking for a medium coverage foundation. I had tried Clinique superfit and loved the formulation, but the colors are ridiculous. I am fair skinned and the colors in my range were either red or orange.

The girl at Sephora suggested the Cargo foundation in #30 to me, she said it had the closest amount of properties to SuperFit, but it actually matched my light skin.

I tried the sample she gave me and just went back to buy it today. It matches my skin exactly which is really difficult, and so far it is staying put and covering what I need it to cover.

As far as the price, it is nearly $40, but it looks like it will last me for about 6 months, so worth it.

I love this foundation! It's one of the few that work with my complexion. It's very lightweight so I don't feel like I'm wearing makeup and it stays on all day. My complexion is warm and has yellow tones in it and I find that most foundations tend to have more gray tones and this one matches my skin. I would definately but it again, as I have been doing. It's $32 here (Canada) but I think it's worth it's price. The packaging is really interesting. I like how it isn't in a bottle.

i ask'd for a full coverage great foundation @ sephora n this was suggested...the counter girl pick'd out a color for me n when i got home n stuck it all over my face, it was way too orange! the texture was definitely really lightweight which i liked, but even with a primer it was just way too matte 4 me n not a full coverage! i guess it works if you don't really wear a foundation or your 1st foundation purchase...so i ended up with smashbox high definition...

This is an excellent foundation. It gives a medium matte coverage but lets your skin glow and doesn't look mask like. It comes out great in photos as well. I find with a dusting of powder this stays matte for a few hours. The colour F20 matches my fair yellow toned skin perfectly. Hasn't caused any breakouts so far. I'm going to stock up and buy some more as they are discontinuing the whole cargo line in Aust (oh no!!) so they are having a 70% off sale at the moment.

This is the best foundation I have ever used!

I need a foundation that will solve several skin problems:
1. I have 'aging' skin.
2. I also have combination, sensitive skin that can breakout.

Cargo foundation is the ONLY foundation that provides a natural, dewy coverage, which makes my skin glow ... but never causes breakouts.

My skin is far from perfect, yet I find it provides enough coverage without looking 'mask-like."
My skin is light, and I find F-30 to be the perfect shade.

In search of the Holy Grail of foundations, I have purchased almost every brand... including every Chanel formula (yes, even including the new Lift Lumiere), Laura Mercier, Bobbi Brown, etc, etc.
...but NOTHING works as well as Cargo's oil-free foundation.

I have been using this for about two years now. It is my HG. This product never breaks me out and always gives a nice finish. The coverage is buildable. I can apply it very sheerly so it almost looks like a tinted moisturizer, or apply it a bit heavier to get medium coverage. It's a beautiful foundation and I love that it's oil-free but still very moisturizing. It's the only foundation that works perfectly with my sensitive/combo skin. It blends beautifully into my skin and the colors are gorgeous...I'm F40. A tube lasts me about six months. I will always keep this in my make-up bag!

I love this foundation! I usually wear tinted moisturizer but wore this to a wedding for a more polished look. My face looked flawless. I had no problem finding the right shade and it went on nice and smooth, blending perfectly. It lasted all night through drinking and dancing too! I especially love the packaging b/c the pouch is puncture-proof and contains a ton of product.
