Love this conditioner!
It absorbs into my hair leaving it feeling soft and silky.

I have very long hair, so conditioning is a must.

What I also LOVE about this conditioner is the smell.
It smells amazing.

Big thumbs up!

This product really surprised me. I didn't want to use it for such a long time because I thought it would be too creamy and make my fine hair look greasy. But it turned out to be one of the best conditioners I've ever used, surprisingly easy to rinse off without leaving your hair greasy like many other ultra rich conditioners. I recommend leaving this product in your hair for a few minutes, you will be surprised by its effect. I also recommend using this product only on your ends or down from the area where your ponytail starts, if your hair isn't especially dry and damaged.

Love this conditioner!! When I first tried it out I was surprised by thin runny consistancy but as soon as I applied it to my hair... like silk baby! It takes a quarter size amount of this conditioner to cover my shoulder length, wavy thick hair. Before I would use a handful (and I do mean a handful) of other brands such as Bedhead, Redken, Gosh, in order to get the same results. This conditioner leaves my hair so soft and smooth that I hardly need any styling product after drying. If I choose to let my hair air dry, the result is smooth, frizz free, natural wave The price is on the high side but in the -21 degree weather, my hair is thanking me for the mositure. Would totally recommend this conditioner for the winter, might be a little heavy come the summer. I personally love the smell but it might be a bit strong for some people especially if you don't like floral scents.

I have very fine and wavy hair; this conditioner seems to tame it nicely (I leave it in for a few minutes). What I love is that I don't need to use a large amount - a little goes a long way, and after I rinse my hair really feels soft and smooth. It's a bit on the expensive side but I think I'll probably buy it again because the benefits far outweigh the cost.

Although it is supposedly an "ultra rich" conditioner, it did nothing to add moisture to my fine hair. It didn't weigh down my hair like many products do but it did leave my hair looking and feeling drier and duller than before. On the upside, I really did like the fragrance which I can only describe as smelling clean.

I have fine straight hair, and this product weighs down my hair without being extra moisturizing. It has a pleasant powdery-floral fragrance, but this conditioner's performance is not very impressive.

I have slightly dry hair with damaged ends due to heat styling and thought this might be a nice treat to try out. Unfortunately I wasn't really very impressed with it. The first issue I had with it was the smell, which I found to be very strong and cloying and which I found vaguely masculine. The second issue I had was with the rinsability. Despite the relatively thin texture of this product I did not find it easy to rinse - it felt like it left a greasy film on my hair. Finally, and most importantly, it just didn't seem to make any difference to my hair. It did leave my hair more conditioned than if I'd used nothing at all but did not do any better than a bog standard drugstore brand at a fraction of the price. I would not repurchase and have given my tube away as I didn't even want to finish it!

I have fine hair with very dry, damaged ends. I bought this conditioner based on the words "ultra rich" because my hair needs the moisture. Unfortunately, this product didn't really do what I needed it to. It smells nice - kind of powdery - and the scent lingers. The packaging is nice. Strangely, the consistency was rather runny and thin, definitely not what I expected from an "ultra rich" conditioner made with shea butter. This conditioner does add shine to hair. If I had normal, less dry hair, I would probably like this, but not for $17.

this stuff has a thinner consistency than most conditioners but it works quite well. My hair is really damaged from chemical processing and this conditioner makes it soft.

The only product in my arsenal at the moment that has HG status - I absolutely ADORE this conditioner. I have thin, dry, wavy almost curly hair that I am attempting to grow out and this conditioner makes my locks look shiny, moisturized and super healthy. It really defines the waves and makes them look better. Absolutely LOVE IT! I only wish it was a little cheaper and less of a pain to hunt down - i swear I use more drugstore brands just because they are easier to get in a pinch - but really, this is a great conditioner. Tip - use a clarifying shampoo with it once a week to keep hair light and bouncy.

I have above-shoulder length coarse (wavy), dry hair. This did an OK job, but I wasn't thrilled with it. The runny consistency put me off a bit, and I ended up needing two applications to have it condition enough and get through all my hair. Frankly, I still prefer my Herbal Essences conditioner. It does a great job of conditioning and calming frizzies without weighing my hair down, and it saves me a lot of money!

This conditioner is quite frankly outstanding. Frederick Fekai, Philip Kingsley, Bumble and Bumble, Ojon can not compare to this conditioner. If you have dry frizzy hair, this ulra rich conditioner is a godsend - HG status for me. Yes, I do find that I need to wash my hair a little more often (every 4th day now rather than 5th - god I'm lazy!) but seriously my hair has never shone before - it's naturally curly highlighted hair so it would usually not have a hope in hell's chance of shining! - but this L'occitane conditioner makes it. On days when I blow it out straight it looks like straight hair - whereas usually you would always be able to tell that it's curly hair straightened because of that telltale fluff and frizz I would usually get - seriously, if you've tried loads of deep conditioners and are not satisfied, try this. The thing that makes me laugh about this is that it's not even marketed as deep treatment conditioner - just an everyday one. You only need to leave it on a couple of minutes. I'm becoming more and more impressed with L'occitane - I think as a company they don't market themselves seriously for skin and hair care - I used to always think it was a brand for old ladies who liked fancy soap. Check it out - the shea SPF face cream is also HG status for me.

This is by far the best conditioner I've ever used on my dry, fine, brittle hair! It provides the shine, softness, and thickness/body I so desperately need and can't get from other conditioners. It makes my scalp feel invigorated and moisturized, too. Provides a great sense of health and relief all around. I also love the dignified silver packaging. Worth every cent of the $17!

Warning: It might be too heavy or greasy for someone who doesn't have dry hair. (The sales associate at the store warned me of this, too.)

This is one of the best conditioners I've ever used! It is very thin and runny when squeezing out of the tube, and initially when I applied it, my hair soaked it right up. When rinsing, however, I could immediately feel my hair was smooth and silky. Not my favorite fragrance, but great conditioning - definitely an undiscovered gem.

this is one of the best conditioners on the planet. i've spent my life looking for thick, pasty conditioners, as it just seemed like they would work better. i purchased this at l'occitane because it was marked down from an already inexpensive retail price, and i love everything that they make so i figured why not give it a try. the conditioner is runny, but super soft! unlike most conditioners that simply rinse off your hair and leave nothing behind, l'occitane ultra rich conditioner stays in your hair after rinsing, and you can immediately feel a difference once your hair is dry.

now, go buy it.

I just purchased this when L'Occitane was out of my my normal conditioner (angelica). This conditioner is much runnier than I anticipated which make the tube a little hard to manage in the shower because it just comes running out when you open the cap. The good thing about this design is that you will be able to get every last drop out and believe me you will want to! This conditioner felt like it "coated" my hair when I was rinsing it out so I was a little bummed but it did make my wet hair feel very soft. The smell is very nice too. Little more perfumey than I was expecting but I really enjoy it...it disappears quickly so no worries. When I started blowing out my hair (no other styling aids added) I noticed the difference. My hair felt like silk! I had NO frizz (which is a miracle) and my dry ends were totally hydrated and smooth. I can not say enough good things about this product! I think the $17 price tag is well worth it and will continue to purchase again and again. Now I'm thinking of ditching my fav shampoo (artemisia) and begin using the whole shea butter line.

This is a gorgeous every day conditioner for dry hair. It comes in the metallic tubes that L'Ocittane do and in a huge 200ml tube. I am only on my 1st tube ATM and I can imagine this will last a long time, you need such a small amount. I use my L'Occitane shower cream's to double up as a shampoo and using this after makes my hair so soft, definitely the best conditioner IMO and I love the scent of L'Occitane's shea butter range smell so fresh and clean smelling, will definitely re-purchase.
