I'm not really a lipstick person but I bought this on a whim and I'm so glad I did! This colour works perfectly on my tinted lips and olive skin tone. It's sheer enough that you can wear it during the daytime but can also be built up to wear as a richer colour. It's texture is smooth and it has no sparkles, thank God. The only thing is the smell, which is the "lipstick smell" but it doesn't bother me that much. Overall, this is a beautiful colour and I think it would look great on a lot of girls, especially girls of colour! Forget the other celebrity lipstick offerings from Aishwarya, Eva Longoria and Kerry Washington, this colour is waaaaaayyy better!

I love this lipstick. It looks intimidating in the tube but I assure you it's very sheer. you can build the color up to a rich plum or apply it as a soft wash of berry. this lipstick has absolutely no staying power but it does fade evenly. it leaves a lovely stain on your mouth. granted, the stain is very difficult to get off without a good makeup remover. the lipstick also has a very waxy taste and smell that others may not like. my only real gripe is that the formula is very drying. If I don't use gloss or balm after applying, it highlights the fine lines on my lips. overall, milla's plum looks beautiful with my complexion and I've gotten several compliments while wearing it. I would buy this again in a heart beat.

I was looking for a color to replace Stila's Natalie after having another tube go rancid in less than 6 months. This color is it! It might be a touch brighter, but like Natalie, it applies a sheer berry or can be built up to a rich plum. It applies evenly and doesn't dry out the lips. As to that old-fashioned L'Oreal lipstick fragrance, it doesn't bother me, but my mom always wore L'Oreal lipstick, so there's a pleasant nostalgia with it. Happy to find a good drugstore replacement for one of my favorite lippies!

I picked this up as a BOGO along with Aishwarya's Beige, which surprised me as being completely unsuitable for my coloring, because being half-Asian, I expected a color that would look good on Ash would look good on me, whereas Milla's coloring is *nothing* like my own, but Milla's Plum turns out to be practically the perfect everyday color for me--just a shade or two darker than my natural lip color, with enough color intensity to pop, but not so much that it looks inappropriate at any time. I like to wear this during the day, and then replace it with True Burgundy in the regular Color Riche line for nighttime, if I need something a little more dramatic. Love it! This is now my go-to lippie.

It is a bit expensive for a DS lippie, IMO, so I give it a 3 in that category, but a 5 for packaging (love the black tube so much better than the standard gold ones). I would give it a 5 overall, except that I feel this color is a bit on the soft side compared to some of my other Color Riche lipsticks, so it doesn't last quite as long. No matter, though really, because I don't mind touching up. So, in the end a strong, solid "4" in my book.

The bonus is I actually like Milla "Yo, you bitch..." (as she joked about herself during one TV interview I remember watching).

Love it! This is a nice, not-too-bright plum that looks great with my pale, warm-toned skin. I think it would be wearable on almost anyone, though. It's not as dark as it looks in the tube like it might be--it's somewhat sheer and buildable.

This is the only lipstick I've used up. It is layerable, creamy and looks great with my skintone - NC30. I have multiple backups for this just in case it is discontinued : ) An all-time favorite!

After Clinique discontinued (or something) my favorite color in the Almost Lipstick line, I was heartbroken. I had spent many years looking for something that worked and I finish my first tube to have the product disappear. But alas, I figured I'd go back to trying tubes from the drugstore. This color looked alright, not too orange-y but still a nice plum. I was put off by the gimmicky "star secrets" thing, considering I was just burned by a discontinued product, but milla's cute so what the heck. I am so happy with this color!! The color doesn't conflict with my yellowish undertones or wear too pink. The texture is nice and creamy, though I do use a lip balm as a primer to keep it on and smooth. I do wish Loreal's lipsticks were safety sealed. I almost got out of the store before noticing the lipstick had been fiddled with in the tube I picked up. I hope this shade is here to stay!!

Delicious colour, very good on cool-toned blondes like myself. It is like the colour you wish your lips were naturally; it's creamy; it's moisturizing; and it lasts quite well. Good value for money.

Really nice neutral plum creme, a Three Bears analogy if you will - not too much and too little - 'just right'. I like Milla J. too - this one and Aishwarya's Beige are the most flattering of this whole line.

This lipcolor is a deep plum color on my fair yellow untertoned Asian skin. It's a pretty, natural looking, everyday color I regularly use.
The reason why I did not give it 5 lippies is because I found the texture to be a bit on the dry side. If I use it with a lip balm as a primer, it is much better. The staying power is also pretty good. I'd say it lasts several hours.
I wouldn't purchase again because I know there are so many other colors and companies out there begging to be tested out by little ol' me!

I like the color, but it has zero longevity...almost as soon as I apply, it just melts off...I think the formula is too creamy for my almost 40 year old lips, lol...

Lovely muted plum with pink undertones on my pigmented lips.
Good color for all the CCC's out there.
Creamy and long-lasting, but overly perfumed.
Very nice product.

I like this color-but I would wear Eva's over it (more subtle and suitabl fo rmy skintone). This is a nice plummy color that's not as harsh as it looks in the tube, but I still need to add something to it to make it wearable for me. Nice creamy texture, bad but not unbearable scent.

Great colour for my asian skin tone. I love the creamy, smooth consistency and the fact that its buildable. I can wear it sheer or a nice deep plum for evenings.I think these is only one compaint about it,that it has a quite low staying power.I need to keep retouching it.

The more I see this color on my lips, the more I like it. I'm a medium tanned asian and have reddish lips, so this lipstick is a medium dark reddish plum color on me. The color glides on smoother than the smashbox and bare escentuals lipsticks that I have. I like the way it feels on my lips and the flowery scent is not bothersome.

Check out Walgreens--they often have buy one, get one free sales on L'Oreal and have a decent 30-day return policy with receipt on cosmetics. So far, I haven't had any problems returning items that I've used and didn't like.

I picked this up cause of the reviews and also cause I like Milla Jovovich. Well i was happy I finally got this. At first glance I thought that this would be too dark for my light skin. Well, glad i got it as its a lovely med-dark plum that looks good on me. Only thing i dont like about the lipstick is the flowery scent. It's not offensive, but i can taste it which is just odd. But anyways..love the color!

Great dark plum-mauve color. It look really natural on me, like my lips but a bit darker. So, for me it's a daytime color. I love the formula of this lipstick, it goes on creamy and is moisturizing. I would probably repurchase it when I finish the tube. Oh, and I really want to try the color for Andy McDowell and Laetitia Casta.

I was intrigued when I saw the ads for the L'Oreal "Star Secrets" line. What a great marketing gimmick to let the consumer buy makeup custom-made for Hollywood's most beautiful leading ladies. I actually had a hard time finding the displays for the Star Secrets products. I would passively look for displays when I was at grocery and drug stores, and never saw one. The groceries stores where I normally shop as well as the drug store that is in the bottom floor of the office building where I work didn't have a Star Secrets display even though they do carry the L'oreal line. The one time I did find a Star Secrets display in a grocery store, the products were picked over, and there were no lipsticks left. Finally, last night I was out on an impromptu take-out dinner run, and I thought I may as well stop at the Walgreens next door to the restaurant to see the they had a Star Secrets display. They did. There weren't many products left on it, though. As luck would have it, one of the two tubes of lipstick left on the display was a "Milla's Plum." This is the one I would have chosen for myself if all of the colors had been available, since I normally wear plummy lipstick colors. I will say I am a little dissapointed about what my month-long search yielded, but only a little. The lipstick does, of course, have the trademake L'Oreal stench, which I dislike. I found the color to be lovely and flattering; but the pigment level of the lipstick is too low for my taste. All things considered, I probably would replace it the need were to ever arise and the color were available. It's a good color for casual, daytime look.

The Grammar Nazi in me is stroking out... the fact I can't get that possessive apostrophe into "Milla's" -- it's anathema. A N Y W A Y ... this "colour riche" lipstick from L'oreal is different than the original formula. It seems like a gel now, but it's actually smooth and creamy and leaves a lovely coat of plum/wine. Not as deep as I thought it'd be, but very pretty.
