Shea butter is so healthy for your skin, i cannot stress it enough! This ingredient helps to heal stretch marks, hydrate dry skin, and to lock in moisture. Jergen's shea butter enriching moisturizer does exactly all 3 of these things. When choosing a moisturizer i always look for ingredients such as aloe and shea butter because it is so hydrating and healthy for skin.

This is my holy grail lotion, I live in a pretty hot place and I love that this is not greasy at all yet it is super moisturizing. The scent seems a bit vanilla like but on my skin it disappears almost immediately after application. This works for me because I am a perfume user. It lasts all day and is worth the price. I have the 400 ml bottle that has a pump and it is not mess at all plus it lasts forever. I always repurchase this when I run out, it is a must have.

I love butters so much, and wanted a moisturizer with shea and/or cocoa butter in it. I like the scent of this product, and I love that it doesn't feel greasy. It absorbs quickly within maybe 10 minutes tops, and I do feel softer after application, and upon checking (I haven't applied it for a week, oops) just now, I noticed that a dry patch on my wrist is feeling softer along with my skin in general. I love this stuff! I got the smaller 10 fl oz bottle first, then upgraded to the larger one (which comes with a pump, if anyone's interested!)

I love shea butter for moisture. I use shea butter body moisturizer, hand cream, soap, lip balm, you name it. I usually splurge on L'occitane for hand cream, soap and lip balm, but I find that for a general body moisturizer this Jergens product delivers just as well. Its super moisturizing but not greasy, especially if you let it absorb for a few minutes. The smell is great. It really helps my legs when they get super dry in the cold New England winters.
I have tried many other drug store shea butter or aloe lotions and none of them are as absorbent, non-greasy and super-moisturizing like this one.

I love this stuff. I'm usually a Curel Fragrance Free fan girl but wanted something that would be better suited as a body lotion. (I used the Curel for my hands.) I still experimented with this as a hand lotion---it's terrible for that. Too oily. I used it and sat down to eat, my hands slipped constantly. However it gets 5 stars as a body lotion. The first time I used it I noticed the complexion on my arms was a bit smoother/brighter and it does not have the slip and slide effect on my body. Even my problematic feet liked it!

I think it's a little oily upon application, but sinks in after a few minutes. I've found that it really does make my skin soft and smooth and doesn't irritate my crazy sensitive chest. I'm not too keen on the scent, though. It smells like my Tree Hut shea scrub, but with too much of a sunscreen/tanning lotion odor to me. It would be great for summer, just not any other season. For this reason alone, I probably won't repurchase this specific scent any time soon.

UPDATE: I've discovered that this lotion gives me bumps on my bum. Odd.

when i was younger, i used to use a lot of VS/BB&W lotions for their fruity/floral /exotic scents. now that i'm in my late 20s i've moved on to lotions with softer, warmer scents that would moisturize well. i saw good reviews for this lotion so when i spotted a sale online i had to jump on it and buy 5 bottles sight unseen, scent unsniffed...

SCENT: on me, smells strongly of vanilla and a hint of caramel, but NOT in a sickly sweet, cloying way - a soft, well-rounded scent. i wish bare skin smelled like this. have resisted shameful urges to bite down while sniffing the back of my hand. and it would smell really good on a man too so no need to use separate lotions :)

MOISTURE: very surprised. bought it for the scent but my skin feels soo much smoother and softer after using this lotion. sinks in really well. won't perform miracles on alligator skin, but works well enough for standard dry skin

FACE?: i like simplifying my skincare routine so i tried this lotion on my face too. but unfortunately, it didn't do anything special to my skin. it didn't sink in as well and kind of sat on top of my skin, like a film. it didn't break me out or anything, but i'll just stick to my face lotion.

overall, very happy with my purchase. really glad i took a chance and bought 5 bottles!

I love this lotion. I feel like it actually lasts all day, and I really, really love the scent. Sometimes I just open the bottle and smell it. Seriously, I do. I am impressed with how effective it is for the price. I just bought it because it was cheap and I needed some lotion. I'm so glad I did, because this is one of the best lotions I have used. Try it!

I loveeee this lotion..I highly recommend it. It smells so yummy..like a mixture of caramel popcorn and vanilla and makes your skin so baby soft. I use it everyday after I get out the shower. I slather it on my feet and put socks over and wake up with soft feet. It's not expensive at all which is just a bonus.

this lotion is pretty good. I seem to be in the minority, but I don't really like the smell of this. When I smell it in the bottle, it's fairly light and inoffensive, your typical nutty/vanilla-y/cocoa buttery/shea-y scent (they all sort of fall into the same category for me). However, after I have it on for a while, it smells weird. I don't know exactly how to describe it, but it isn't pleasant- I guess it doesn't work with my chemistry. Anyhow, it's decently moisturizing. I don't usually use it on my body, though. I use it for my face, and for me and my two younger sisters, it hasn't broken us out at all and our mild acne has gotten better while using it! I don't know if this is due to our new purpose face wash or this lotion, but either way, it definitely isn't breaking me out and it does a good job moisturizing. And the price isn't too bad considering the pump bottle is HUGE!!

Love it! I am usually very difficult about perfume and the smell of this cream doesn't bother me, which is very surprising! Also I like the texture and my skin feels very soft , not greasy and it doesn't clog pores.

I love this! It smells divine and it moisturizes very well.

I've noticed lately that my skin has become dry so I was looking for a good lotion for dry skin. After reading the reviews for this lotion and the Vaseline Cocoa butter one, I decided on this one, because I smelled the Vaseline lotion in the store and I didn't really like the scent. And I think this was a good choice.

After applying this my skin feels soft, smooth and it positively glows! And it works even better if you apply it after using St. Ives Apricot Scrub. The lotion is not annoyingly sticky, which I love. It also lasts for a decent amount of time. The scent is nice and sweet yet it's not overpowering, kind of like dessert or what I think Shea butter smells like. It doesn't last though. And I love that Shea butter is actually one of the first ingredients on the list.

It also has a decent price. I will definitely repurchase.

What a tremendous spectacular lotion! I was using St Ives lotion which was good enough for about a month until there was just nothing great about it, switched to this and boy what a difference! You don't know the wonders of lotions till you buy this baby!

Lol.

Seriously, I put this on before bed and wake up to baby soft kissable touchable skin. However I don't claim to have 'dry' skin, so I cannot speak for those of you with it but for reg skin people like me who still thrive that baby softness skin this is for you! It definitely achieves that, no problemo. And this is seriously cheap stuff for its excellent quality! I got mine at Target for only.... 5 $!!!!!! Yes I couldn't believe it myself either.

I tried Aveenos 24hr which worked well but was too harsh for my normal skin I think that was directed more towards people with dry skin and St Ives 24hr was not moisturizing enough!

This however is marvelous! I no longer have wandering eyes when I walk into the stores for other lotions. :)

My new HG hand lotion! I absolutely adore this stuff. It keeps my hands and cuticles in such good shape. I use it after most every hand washing. Smells wonderful and it spreads great. It takes a minute to fully absorb, but it leaves my skin looking so very nice. I love that shea butter is the second ingrediant - really makes a difference for my nails/cuticles.
I also use it on my legs in summer....awesome stuff!

I bought this after reading the reviews on MUA. Wow! This is great drugstore lotion! For the first time in a very long time my very dry hands are not red and scary looking after a few applications of this lotion. This is definitely not the runny, useless Jergens I remember my mom using when I was young. This is fantastic and inexpensive stuff!
