Very soft (maybe too soft, I hardly touched and made a dent in the product) and a pretty color, but not really unique in my opinion.

This summer is perfect to go with anything you are wearing, it is TOP quality, ive been through 4 of these already. Its so soft, pigmented, versatile, inexpensive and perfect!

This is a pretty shimmery highlight shade. I am happy to have it for free but don't think it's nice enough to buy it myself. Like the other ulta eyeshadows the product is pretty dry and crumbly.

I love this color! In the winter it actually kind of a my lids but better color. I've been wearing it at least twice a week for over a year and I still have lots of product left. All and all its a great value.

I completely agree with the reviewer below. This shadow looks very pretty in the pan. However, when you apply the shadow, it's nothing but a big blob of shimmer, without the soft, creamy color I had hoped for. All of the eye shadows are on sale at Ulta for $2.00, and I am definitely sending this one back...

It takes a lot of hard swiping with a brush in order for me to pick up any of the shadow. While it looks like a nice cream color in the pan, all I see is frost when I swipe it on the lid or browbone, and I while I like frost, I don't like big chunks of frost. The texture from all the big chunks makes my eyelid look rough. I much prefer a smoother, buttery eyeshadow, and since this is such a common that shade can be found for much cheaper and better quality at a drug store, I will not be purchasing this one again, and will not be finishing what I have of this.

I use this color as a highlighter. Very pretty color.

This is another of my favorite Ulta eye shadows. I sometimes use this as a brow bone highlight but most often I use a little touch in the inner corner of my eyes.

love to use this as a highlighter on my brow bone, or in the inner corners of my eyes! its such a gorgeous, shimmery color that you can't help but love!

Silk is a nice off-white/ivory/bone kinda color. It used to be my HG highlighting color...until I found Vapor by Urban Decay. I will never go back to this, but it's very affordable for girls on a budget and not a bad product at all.
Age: 36-43 Skin: Combination, Fair-Medium, Warm Hair: Brunette Eyes: Brown
Very frosty--which I can't wear. I got this free as part of a gift with purchase.
On the positive side--Good color pay off if you can wear a bright white frosty shadow. I will stick with Mac's Vanilla.

This is a very pretty, neutral shade that's great for highlighting your brow bone. It was a little too much on the glittery-sparkly side for me, but it would be good for an evening out.

Silk is a creamy beige highlight kind of color. It works amazingly as a highlight color or for the inner corners of the eye. It is a frosty color and goes on much lighter than it appears in the pan. I love this color, though. I'm a sucker for very light golden or beige colors. It is silky and blends great. In the pan: NET WT 2.85 G/0.1 OZ. (remember, these are done in weight...certain ingredients weigh more than others, which is why some of them are higher than others...not that you are getting more/less product from one color pan to another.) I see that mentioned a lot in these eyeshadow reviews. I would repurchase this color in an instant. It was one of the colors I had been trying to get my hands on for quite some time, but always was sold out...now I understand why! Love love love! Its a color everyone needs in their beauty kit!

work ok for highlighting, perfect color for that- but does not lend well if used otherwise (not in my experience at least)

Favorite. Eyeshadow. Ever. EVER. EVER!
Age: 25-29 Skin: Sensitive, Fair, Warm Hair: Black, Straight Eyes: Hazel
This has replaced MAC's nylon as my favorite highlight. It is very similar just not as intense. Very pigmented and easy to use. These shadows are huge (3x the size of my MAC shadows), amazing quality and these are always on a bogo as well so for 3.50 a piece you really can't beat it.
Age: 18 & Under Skin: Acne-prone, Fair Hair: Brunette, Wavy, Medium Eyes: Green
A super gorgeous, pale, shimmery gold. It looks great on inner corners and shows up even though I'm super fair. It lasts alright and the consistency and pigmentation are quite fabulous. However, I would reccommend some kind of base under it for maximum lasting power. My new favorite highlight shade.

I've worked at Ulta for almost a year now, and while I have the access to discounts on brands like Lorac, Urban Decay, Benefit, Stila, ect. But this is still my favorite highlighter color. It has just the right amount of beige shimmer, without looking bright snowy white (this may only apply to fair skin tones), the pigments are high even for an inexpensive brand, and the price point is unbeatable. I've actually had people ask me which color I was wearing and I happily tell them about this amazing find for not a lot of money. I stock up on the colors when the buy 2 get 2 free sale is going on!

This is a staple in my makeup bag. I've used it for years as my brow and inner corner highlighter (and sometimes to lightly line down my nose to make it look thinner). It's the perfect shade of ivory: it's not too white, yet not gold or yellowy. It has a frost that isn't silver, isn't gold and isn't iridescent. It's just perfect!

This is a great color that should be in everyones makeup bag! Ulta eyeshadows have great color and lasting power and the price can't be beat (always buy them on sale!). Silk is the HG of highlighter eyeshadows, the perfect color for the inner corner of the eye or if you want a shimmery (not glittery) under-eyebrow color. It is a neutral white with beigey and maybe the palest of gold undertones - not gold, not silver, just a perfect glow color. it matches well with any color i can think of. The color payoff is so good, in fact, you only need a dab or it can look too frosty. A great find!
