This is sexy, zingy and zesty soap it is a great pick me up as an everyday soap. It's not particularly moisturising or lathering but it does the job n smells good
Age: 30-35 Skin: Combination, Fair, Warm Hair: Black, Straight, Fine Eyes: Blue
Love the smell of this! Very zingy, zesty, citrus smell, has little chunks in, not sure what theyre for or what they do, but adds a unique texture to this particular soap.

Hop in the shower (or bath!) with Sexy Peel and prepare for a real pick-me-up. Lovely citrus scent leaves skin polished and fresh. It's not really a moisturizing soap (nor does it lather well) but fine for daily use. Pairs like a dream with Each Peach - super yummy!
Age: 25-29 Skin: Sensitive, Fair Hair: Blond Eyes: Hazel
It smells soooo good. Citrus all the way. But after a couple washed the orange and lemon rinds start to stick out and can be painful rubbed against the skin. It's a love hate relationship

This is one of the first soaps i purchased from Lush (I purchased this alone with HIWTK) and i'm in love with it. It smells amazing and unlike some other reviewers, I find that this soap lathers really well and doesn't dry my skin. It is a bit exfoliating due to the peels in it, which I like. My boyfriend also loves this soap. I'm still unsure if i prefer this to HIWTK but I do love the smell of this soap and we will definitely repurchase more when our current bar is done.

So I bought this soap solely on the smell. Huge mistake. I loved the smell of this at first but then when I used it in the shower it started to smell like cleaning products. This dries out my skin so much and doesn't lather very well.

I love the scent! It smells so bright and citrusy and is a great wake up scent. The soap itself can be a bit drying and leave your skin with a tight feeling. It also has fruit peel and that helps gently exfoliate. The price is ok. Lush soaps are generally more expensive than other soaps, but compared to other soaps they sell, this is one of the cheaper ones.

Lovely soap, I like the exfoliating feel , along with the fresh citrus scent, this is a great 'summer soap' and it makes my skin feel lovely and smooth . Recommended .

extremely pleasant scent
can be drying

This is my favourite soap. Ever.
It smells just like orange juice. It is so refreshing for early morning showers, especially in the summer. It's definitely cheery.
It is a bit of an exfoliate, so be gentle. You do not need to use a lot of this soap to create a lather.
I hate that it's so expensive (but most Lush stuff is), but it is worth every penny.

I Love love love love this ! It has a great lemony/ orangey scent and it makes me feel clean and refreshed. Also wakes me up in the mornings.
Age: 19-24 Skin: Acne-prone, Medium Hair: Brunette Eyes: Brown
smells like a lemon starburst and I absolutely LOVE it. lathers up really well, and makes me feel clean after showering. doesn't dry out my skin. love this so much that it makes me excited to shower. definitely will repurchase again. I'm sad that it runs out kind of fast, but i've heard that using a loofah with it will make it last longer so I'll be trying that. otherwise, do go check this out if you like lemon-y smells!

I've been using this for a few days, and its great! The smell is heavenly (if you like citrus) and you really feel clean after washing with it. Highly recommend this one.

This was my first Lush purchase! I loooove this stuff! After long searches in the drug store for a soap that can actually have you feeling clean, I came to Lush for something better. I wanted that clean feeling plus some exfoliation, which is exactly what you get with Sexy Peel. The fruit peels give the perfect amount of exfoliation for everyday. The scent is sooo addictive I just want to keep my nose to this stuff at all times, but unfortunately it doesn't linger on your skin afterwards, which is the only drawback. The soap itself lathers reasonably well, when I washed it away I got that characteristic "soap slick" feeling which I'm not crazy about and that scared me a little bit because I thought it was leaving some weird residue behind. However after I got out of the shower my skin felt softer and cleaner than it did with any drug store brand soap. I think it definitely has some moisturizing properties. I think I will be buying many times again however I still want to try out the others!

While some soaps draw you to them with their appearance (Miranda) or reputation (HIWTK), Sexy Peel has already mugged your nasal cavity and hypnotized you with his bad-boy citrus punch in the face. Orange! Lemon! Grapefruit! Lime! This is like a California sorbet of a soap, clean and fruity scent. Absolutely divine. The peels are rather small, so exfoliation is not so rough in this affair, instead leaving your skin glowing clean. When around he will not irritate even those of you more sensitive, but always welcomes a new clean smile to your face.
However, after taking this bad boy of soaps home and get all cozy, you realize that he is a skintight fella-no really. If you have normal-dry skin, prepare to rinse the astringency off and have him leave you with skin literally squeaking after taking all of you natural oil. Also, when he is away his scent will not linger for your fond memories of sunshine orchards. Having raped you of any oil for the scent to stay in this makes sense. As time wear on he will become less reliant, melting easily at the last minute when you need him. In the end, the shelf life of your relationship with him will not last more than two years, in which he will turn into a true stinker.
The bottom line? If you got oily skin are the kind of Lushie who enjoys clarifying skin and long walks in the summer sun, have I got a match for you! If not, be weary of what your mother always told you, and beware the infamous bad boy!

Sexy Peel is a super citrusy soap that's packed with lemons, limes, oranges, and grapefruits, as well as their peels! I always passed by this soap at LUSH and went for the sweeter smelling ones, but I finally realized how great this one smells and I had to get it. It smells pretty strong, and more like lemons than the other fruits it contains, so if you're not a lemon or citrus lover, this may be a little obnoxious to you. I can see where some people say it smells like lemon-scented household cleaners, but once you use this in the shower, the smell isn't as harsh, though it's still strong. Also, the lemony scent doesn't stick on your skin after the shower, but your bathroom will smell nice for an hour or two afterwards.
This lathers up well for a LUSH bar soap. Some LUSH soaps create a milky, creamy lather, which is nice, but this one bubbles pretty well too so you really feel squeaky clean. After maybe 5 uses or so, the fruit peels begin to poke through the soap, so you can exfoliate while you wash. I found the peels to be a little abrasive, but nothing my skin couldn't handle. If you have very sensitive skin though, these might irritate you, as they can sometimes be a little sharp and leave some scratch marks on you (but they go away soon!) Unlike Porridge, another 2-in-1 soap/exfoliator, this one never gets to the point that it stops lathering, so you can really use it until it's just a sliver. Porridge I just eventually had to toss because it was just a bunch of oats stuck together.
I think the best thing about this soap is that it really helped clear up the slight KP I have on my upper arms. I know lemon/citrus is supposed to be good for KP, and I'm sure the exfoliating factor helped as well. If you have KP anywhere on your body, definitely check out this soap (and Porridge too). Both of those really helped clear my arms up. It also didn't dry my skin out; in fact, it made my skin nice and soft every time I used it.
One thing that scared me about this soap is that I didn't use it for quite a while after I bought it and it seemed like it dried out. I always cut my soaps into 2 pieces and store them in their own containers. All my LUSH soaps hold up well this way, but Sexy Peel felt very hard, dry, and almost crusty, and I was afraid it had gone bad or something. But no worries, as soon as I got it wet and used it it was totally fine. So if you've had a piece for a while and it looks dried out, it's still OK to use!
Also, the price isn't too bad. This is one of LUSH's cheaper soaps. I bought an $8-$9, cut it in half, and one half lasted me a month with daily use.
Overall, this is a good soap for lemon lovers, people that like to exfoliate as they wash, and people looking to clear up small amounts of KP on their body. It's not my absolute favorite LUSH soap, but I will be repurchasing once I get through my massive collection of soaps!

I really dislike this soap mainly because the pieces of lemon skin inside the soap hurts my hands when i'm lathering it. The scent is lemony, not a big fan as they remind me of dish washing liquids.

this is my favorite lush soap. i love anything citrus smelling so this is literally perfection. i like how it has orange peel in it too because of the exfoliating factor (if you don't like that part, try the bohemian. more lemon scent than orange but it smells awesome) even my boyfriend likes this soap. it gets you nice and clean and wakes you up in the morning. i will always keep this soap on hand.

When my best friend asked me what I wanted for my birthday, I obviously said a LUSH gift card! He bought this soap for me as well and they wrapped the gift card up in the soap! It smelled divine and I couldn't wait to use it! The first couple times were great, but as the soap started to melt and the citrus peels started to poke out, my opinions changed. The peels are so pokey and hard, I find them more scratchy than exfoliating! It leaves red, swollen patches after I use it, which has never happened (even with my sensitive skin!) to me with any exfoliators before. It's a shame because I love the smell so much, and it really wakes me up in the mornings, but the patches last for hours and I'm constantly asked about it at school. I love LUSH, but will not repurchase.

I got this as a Christmas gift and at first I thought most soap with a scent would irritate my sensitive skin.
However, I decided to give it a try and fell in love with this soap. It smells refreshing I always look forward to taking a shower. The smell isn't too overwhelming and gives a nice scent when showering..making the room smell oh so nice! lol.
Not to mention, i got yellowish dark skin under my armpits from shaving a lot and the lemon in this soap helps remove that!! LOL.
