I don't know why I didn't try this before, because this is a really unique, pleasant scent. It reminds me of a pending thunderstorm on a warm summer day. Watery, but warm, and soothing. I prefer this to the Acqua Di Gioia, as I find that one too sharp, and not as long lasting. I would buy this for the summer to have on hand. It is lovely and the lasting power is amazing on me, over 8 hours. I can see why this got a good review in Luca Turin's book. It's very well done.

Not impressed. This really does smell like an air freshener. It's a "crisp" scent, but smells like someone sprayed too much Renuzit. Way too overpowering.

I love this fragrance, kind of fruity, light. Stays with you. I usually gravitate towards florals, but this has me hooked. I would definately rebuy.

Aquatics at their best, the right amount of vetiver, a touch of sand and a hint of a best quality jasmin sweetness: smelled it on a friend and fell instantly in love. A must for a classy beach holiday, when one spends long hours dining outside on a hotel terrace overlooking an everstretching shore of an ocean, wearing best jewels and best dresses, and simply treating oneself to everything "best" !

I am a perfume addict. And when i say perfume addict, I mean I have owned about thirteen department perfumes at one time. This is by far my favorite. I only use this. I got it for my birthday about a year ago and wear it almost everyday. I get compliments all the time about how good i smell. Definitely a must have!!!!

I wanted to love this fragrance. In the bottle, and on the test strip, it smelled like a sunny day at the ocean. Warm, minty, a little sweet and a little zesty. But on my skin, it smelled nice for about 30 minutes and then smelled like the woods. For me, this is not a unisex scent, but a manly scent. It almost had a shaving cream smell. And that was not my hope for this.

This stuff smells so so good!! The scent is super fresh but still kind of flirty and sophisticated and it lasts a super long time!! The bottle is really pretty but it could be improved since the lid feels kind of flimsy. This is one of very few perfumes that I will keep rebuying!

This smells really good. On me, this is similar to Miss Dior Cherie L'eau, which is one of my absolute favorites. I'm not sure which one I prefer. I'll have to update once I make up my mind.

Aquatics are so pleasant when done right. I love smelling them on others. You'd think they'd be bland but they enhance the atmosphere, like a subtle touch of beauty, without choking others to death. I like Shi by alfred sung, and Cool WAter (on others)... but this is less vocal about its presence, and quite soft upon drydown. I have edp. i think initially it smells like a fruit orchard after the rain. It evokes such a beautifully serene and fresh image in my mind. The drydown is good, but so gentle, a balance of delicate aquatic and sandalwood/musk notes--thaf it won't cause a headache (as bath n body works perfumes do). But i think the lasting power is decent, contrary to some reviews here (but then again they might b describing EDT, whereas i am talking about EDP). I do think it's a bit expensive, therefore i took off a lippie. Also a lippie of bcuz DH thinks he's smelled it many times, ie a familiar and ubiquitous fragrance-- i don't like smelling like every other person, though that's an unfair deducting of points.

This perfume is just so gorgeous, I'm seriously considering this as my signature scent. Light, elegant, summery, and with fabulous lasting power.
Various perfume fanatics I know have told me this scent is crap, but I don't care. I just might break down and buy a bottle of this soon.

I think I've found my new signature warm weather fragrance! Acqua di Gio is dubbed as being an aquatic scent, but I happen to think it's slightly more earthy than aquatic. It reminds me of the lovely,cucumbery- vetiver fragrance on a rumbling summer day in the moments before a thunderstorm. It's fresh without smelling like clean laundry or carpet cleaner. The mint and pink pepper invigorate while the floral notes are soft rather than obnoxious. This fragrance is simple, yet beautiful, and I hope I'll never be without it!

I got this as a gift a few years back. The only perfume that I've bought on my own is White Linen by Estee Lauder. I was trying to look for the crisp and fresh fragrance that isn't too overpowering. Somehow, Acqua di gio fits the bill. Fast forward to the present, where I've since gotten Red Door and Twilight Woods as gifts again, Acqua di gio is the only fragrance that instantly revives and refreshes rather than give me a migraine all day. Definitely sticking to it!

I love this scent. It is somewhat fruity and floral. I dont know but it is really nice. I like it a lot.

At first, I get this sorta in-your-face tangy smell, but when it drys it becomes alot softer and almost powder-ish. I like that it lasts a fair amount of time, but I honestly dont think this perfume is a must in ur collection.

I'm 24 and I LOVE this! HG product here! It's not too heavy nor too sickly sweet/feminine. It's a subtle, beachy, summery, fresh smelling scent. Like most other fragrances I've tried, this doesn't give me a raging headache by mid-afternoon. I will most definitely always have this in my collection. It's wonderful!!

I purchased Acqua di Gio as a present for my mother way back in 1995 when it was first introduced. I fell in love and it has been my favorite fragrance ever since. It blends melon, pear, sandalwood, floral and of course, aquatic notes. Light but not undetectable like a soothing ocean breeze. I've received plenty of compliments. You've got to smell it to understand how wonderful it is! I don't care for the men's version though, go figure.

I used it many years ago (maybe 10 or more years). It is very fresh and clean and suitable for office time. Do not expect to get compliments when wearing it. But one could be very comfortable and even happy when wearing it especially in summer.

Absolutely a beautiful smell! I have been wearing this since around 2000 and every time I wear this I get MULTIPLE compliments. It is my HG fragrance. My husband was wearing the mens version and I was wearing the womens version when we met. DESTINY! *sigh* LOL

I love this scent. It's great for spring/summer time. Very clean and fresh as the name implies. Only problem with this is it has horrible staying power :( After 3-4 hours it's hardly there. Nevertheless, still worth buying because it smells soooo good! My 3.4 oz bottle is lasting me forever, despite the dissipating scent issue!

Classic, sexy and feminine. Perfect for night outs. It have a very elegant scent that I love. Im impressed some reviews said the scent fades away after an hour or so. For me it lasts for ever. My boyfriend can't take his hands off me when I wear it so thats a plus, lol.
