Very cute bottle (kinda reminds me of the old milk bottles) and heavenly somewhat pumpkiny scent. Seems to add moisture to my hair and leave it looking shiny and healthy. When paired with the pumpkin masque, this stuff is dangerous! Wish they weren't discontinuing it as the others say, but I found it today (May 24, 2010) in the hair section at my local CVS so not sure what the "discont." status really is. So far so good and the smell is to die for!

I am so sad that they are discontinuing the pumpkin hair products...I LOVE this stuff! The shampoo is SO rich and you only need a tiny bit. The conditioner makes hair feel like satin. The best thing about this shampoo and conditioner is that the smell lasts through the day. The smell is identical to TiGi Catwalk Oatmeal and Honey, but the scent on this one lasts much longer and it tends to make hair much silkier.

I'd been wanting to try this shampoo for a long time since I love the smell but I thought it was too expensive. I had been using TIGI's Oatmeal & Honey which smells great too. I just wanted a change. I found the Pumpkin Rehydrating Shampoo for about 1/3 of the price at TJMaxx, bought it and really like it. It's creamy, rich, lathers well and rinses clean. What I didn't like was the packaging so I poured it into a see through bottle with a dispenser cap I like better. I would love to buy it again if I can find it at the cheaper price. If I can't, I would probably spend the higher amount since I'm happy with it. I like it better than the Oatmeal & Honey for the performance.

I scored this at TJ Maxx for 9.99 for 1 liter! I really like it. I have really healthy hair already so I bought it for the scent. I will be going back to stock up on it lol. It is really creamy and my hair feels super soft when its wet before I condition. I also loved that my husband called me "pumpkin head" when he smelled my hair :) I also noticed that it does give my hair a little more bounce then other shampoos that I have used.

Eh...a little steep for me, but I'm really liking it. I use this with every conditioner I own and the final result seems to be the same good result every time. my hair feels new, like it's never been dyed. It's been dyed over 40 times in 4 years. It's also amazingly shiny. I don't know why the other reviews are so-so.

I'm pretty neutral about this shampoo - I don't hate it but I don't love it either. It's just an average shampoo. It has a very creamy white texture so I really had high expectations for its moisturizing properties. It's marketed as a hydrating shampoo but I don't find it moisturizing at all (but it didn't dry my hair either). In addition, its cleansing properties aren't the best - I have to shampoo twice in order to feel really clean (I never do this with other shampoos). The scent is actually nice though - a non-pungent, soft, creamy, pumpkin scent. The scent definitely dissipates, however. For example, after blowdrying, the scent is only noticeable if someone is really close to your hair. I'll finish this, but won't repurchase. It sells for $14.95 for 10 oz.

I've had this for a while and still haven't used it up, partly because I don't use it every time I shampoo. It does what it says in that it's moisturizing, doesn't dry my hair out. Unfortunately it also weighs it down and seems to leave a film on it or something. It has a nice pumpkin smell but not really my favorite scent for a hair product. Something about it turns me off but I don't think it matters much once my hair is dry, just while I'm shampooing. I will finish this bottle but not repurchase.

LOVE THIS STUFF! I bought the small bottles on sale dirt cheap and want liter bottles so bad, but haven't been able to find them anywhere. This smells absolutely delicious. I have used it with the Pumpkin Enzyme Therapy Mist and my hair smells declicious all day! It leaves my hair silky soft and shiny. I was afraid it would be too heavy for my fine hair that is easily weighed down, but it's not - it's perfect!!!

Firstly, I found this product at Winners in downtown Toronto and it was for only $7.99 so I decided to purchase it. I have to say there is nothing hydrating about this product. It really cleansed my scalp and hair well but that's about it. On the positive side, it did not make my hair feel coarse or dry after rinsing it out. I also noticed I didn't need to use much to clean my hair and it seemed to penetrate quickly to my scalp, unlike ABBA Complete which I have been using for at least a year. Plus, it seemed to work well with my ABBA Recoup conditioner.I love the smell, initially it was strong but then it left a very faint scent to my hair. Love it! So, despite it's lack of hydrating properties, I will continue to use it since it cleans my scalp well without effort and I love the smell. I'd only purchase this product again if significantly discounted. UPDATE: I stopped using this shampoo after discovering HEMPZ hydrating shampoo, as the Pumpkin shampoo doesn't really clean my scalp properly and/or I'm sensitive to the lingering effects of the scent. I found that my scalp would be very itchy within a day or two after washing. Besides, HEMPZ is superior in terms of moisturing my hair. I can actually comb out my hair easily right after shampooing without adding any conditioner! Now that's impressive! 2nd UPDATE: Nov. 28/08: I stopped using Hempz shampoo and conditioner. They both stopped working for some reason and I don't like how it feels on my wet hair.

Smells great but not overpowering. Rich lather leaves my hair full of volume and shiny. The scent is best for Fall/Winter.

There is really nothing special about this shampoo. Might as well buy Suave and save your money while getting the same effect.

I bought this shampoo on a whim when I was with my girlfriend at the mall the other day. I have used five times since then. I LOVE the smell of this shampoo. I have very long, fine hair, where just a small amount of product can weigh it down and make it feel greasy. This shampoo made my hair feel so clean. It got all the product out without completely stripping my hair of its natural oils. My hair felt clean and it smelled delicious. I hate the packaging, it is really difficult to squeeze the product out of the bottle that it comes in. I paid $15.95 for a small bottle of this. I think that is a lot, but I had a gift card so I gave it a try. If I had another gift card, or if this product were on sale, I would definitely buy it again.

My niece has her own salon, so therefor I have tryed alot of products. Ive tryed sexy hair concepts when they first came out, I didnt like them at all!! BUT.......She used the pumpkin shampoo & conditioner on my hair without my knowledge, and my hair was marvalous as always from leaving her salon. Days later i used my old shampoo( redken blonde), and my hair didnt look as good as it did when I left her salon. so I shampooed again, same results! now redken blonde is good, but it didnt do what she had done, so I called her and asked "What did you use?" she said the sexy pumpkin...I said no way! are you shure? she said yes, so I went to her salon & purchased some, Wow! It did the trick!! It made me want pie! It smells great, That is if you like pumpkin pie. I have extreem, dry, brittle hair, and with this shampoo & conditioner , I only have to use one product with it... (redken strait, or paul mitchell strait serum) when b4 I had to use 2-3 products after shampooing to tame my dry hair. I have beautiful hair with the right products, but if I use crap, then my hair is crap.

one word: awful.
This shampoo never lathered (which for some reason bothers me), still has some ingredients I don't like to be in my shampoo, and for the price- this shouldn't be the case. However, I thoroughly enjoyed the scent, hence the 1 lippie, but it made my hair WAXY... yes I said waxy... it felt like there was a nasty buildup on my hair... apparently the people I spoke to at a salon mentioned they noticed the same thing with other people.
I also hated the packaging, and found it very hard to squeeze out of the bottle.
I am sure this shampoo works for other people, but it doesn't for me.
By the way, I don't have thin hair yet very very thick and dry hair so I thought I would try this- but it was way too heavy even for my hair type.

Bought this because it smells delicious! But its not the best performance product. It cleans hair without leaving a residue so thats good but didn't do much in regards to "rehydrating". Just a fun shampoo that smells awesome.

I got this free as a gwp from Beauty Brands. Love the smell, which lingers but not in an overpowering, make-you-want-to-barf kind of way. It's nice to get a girl in the mood for fall. Performance-wise...it didn't dry out my already crispy, damaged hair but didn't make it super smooth either. It's pretty meh.

I love the smell of this shampoo, but its cleansing isn't the greatest. As a moisturizing product it does not work. I found it to be drying on my hair and my scalp was left itchy and dry as well. For the money I spent to have it shipped to Canada it was not worth it at all.

I love love love this shampoo! I have dyed/bleached hair that actually isnt in bad condition and thanks to this shampoo I keep it that way. I ran out of the little bottle that came with the pumpkin potion stuff and went out and bought a big bottle of this today. Yeah, its expensive but its totally worth it! Not only does it smell amazing but it really does moisturize my hair...the only complaint I have is that the bottle is kinda hard to open, especially in the shower.

Love the smell, wish I could eat it!!! I do not know about the hydrating claim-as it does not seem to do that. I see it has alcohol in it. But it is not a bad shampoo at all and does not leave my hair dry either, and does not strip color-just not real moisturizing on mine, but I have color treated-damaged, naturally curly, fine hair. It costs a tad more than I like to spend for the amount you get,so if I repurchase it, this will be more as a novelty product. My 22 year old daughter borrowed it and is in love!
