Laura Mercier creme brulee is such a delicious fragrance. It smells similiar to Victoria secret coconut passion & The body shop vanilla, only has a bit richness to it. The lasting hour is alright, about 4-6 hour on me.

This is definitely the best fragrance that I have tried. The scent is unique, and it usually lasts me the whole day. My only qualm is that it is a little pricey, but it definitely is worth it.

I first got the souffle creme of the same scent, and I went straight back to get the perfume.
I am hooked on this, it smells like real creme brule and I can't get enough of it!
Not to mention people asking about my scent!
Love it!!

This fragrance is the best I've smelled in a while. I could not stop talking about it!
The first time I sprayed it, it smelled a little like alcohol, but after a couple of minutes, I smelled like... a very sophisticated dessert!
I didn't give it a 5 because it doesn't seem to last me the whole day. I usually layer it with the Creme de Pistache and it holds a little longer. I still keep an atomizer for touch ups thoughout the day.

bought this when my HG annick goutal vanille exquise became unavailable. Very disappointed. Its a bit BBW like in that its a bit one dimensional, very cakey vanilla. But my major grudge is the staying power. It states its designed for layering, but on me it has the worst staying power of any EDT Ive ever tried. DH loved it though.

I always am careful in reviewing fragrance because so much of it is based on body chemistry.
This is described by the manufacturer as: A rich caramel & crème, with subtle nuances of French vanilla beans & white musk.
On my skin to my nose it is a much stronger, but otherwise EXACT dupe for CSP's Matin Calin (sugar milk with cornflake touch) in the first few hours. Very warm and EXTREMELY foody. Then on the dry down you get a hint more of the vanilla note thats in their Vanilla gourmande scent that has that teeny touch of floral-nothing overpowering. Its sooo light. i susually hate anything floral but the LM fragrances do it well. Overall always very warm and foody.
On a suggestion I did layer this with Philosophy Unconditional Love and it smells just like breakfast pudding with berries. SUPER sweet. My nephew kept snuggling close to me on the couch.
Probably wouldnt buy again because very linear frgrance for the price and I prefer more complex vanillas and gourmands' but will def use my bottle. I like the packaging too-very sleek and efficient. price a little much for what it is. The staying power isnt as amazing here as it was in Nuits enchantees. That sucker stays on ALL DAY!

boring packaging. but I care more how it works than how it looks.
I am always on the search for gourmande fragrances and am very picky as i find many smell fake or plastic-ey.
I just bought this yesterday and was really excited..... but it doesn't smell like creme brulee, it smells like coconuts! which I don't like. I asked my mum what she thought it smelled like and held my wrist up to her, and she also said coconuts. :(
maybe that's just how it's reacting with my body chemistry..

Being the gourmand freak I am, bought this fragrance and fell in love immediately. Never have I had so many compliments on one scent; never had people following me while getting up the nerve to ask what I'm wearing. I spritz Falling In Love first then layer with Creme Brulee or LaVanilla. Maybe that's the difference...don't know...but I'm a luvin' it and will repurchase. (Also learned from this Board to spritz in hair; great idea!)

I am not a hardcore cook, but I do like to make creme brulees (and any other french dessert) and I thought, because I like gourmand fragrances so much- that I would give this a try. Thank goodness I ordered a sample first because this is by far, THEE worst perfume I have ever smelt (topping even Chanel, Dior, etc for me... this says A LOT!) For one, it's overbearing, and not in a sweet foody way.. I can't quite put my finger on it, but it's not a nice smell. It smells nothing like the dessert I often make, and in my opinion, it doesn't smell at all foody. I found it to be quite obtrusive to my nose- and reminded me of very old ladies who bathe in their stale and cheap perfumes and think they smell wonderful.
I am sooooooooooo thankful i didn't order the body souffle either!!! phewf!!! What a disappointment :(

Caramel, butter, vanilla....and a little floral note thrown in for good measure. I bought it to coordinate with the Creme Brulee body wash. To me it is a very foody smell, but it works beautifully with my body chemistry. Love it!

it smells just like creme brulee..buttery/sugary caramel, which i love, but i don't think it's very wearable. i use it more of an after shower spray or mist my hair with it once in a while. i don't think i'd buy it again bc it's basically an overpriced body spray. the scent does mix with lm ambre passion very well, so i'm gonna get the lotion & wear them together like that.

Sorry everyone but this is not for me - it really does smell like burnt sugar (ie creme brulee!), but it is too much like a food substance for me and I couldn't wait to wash it off! unfortunately for me it has very good staying power!

heaven! absolutely my fav fragrance ... i first tried the vanilla gourmande but thats a bit too sweet for me ... this, however, is the best - its smooth and creamy smelling ... love it! I wish it lasted a bit longer but thats a minor thing as i dont mind re-spraying.

I am not usually a fan of food-y scents like Vanilla and so forth but this one hooked me. It's an amazing replication, much like the Creme Brulee lotion and body wash also made by Laura Mercier. Just divine, warm vanilla and caramel and it smells somehow a touch floral as well. This was my favorite of all the new Eau Gourmande scents and seemed to be the most realistic replication of them all. It also has great lasting power. The Eau Gourmande line is LE according to my local counter, so if you want to try it, get out there right away!

Laura Mercier Creme Brulee lotion has long had the reputation of being one of the best non-etailer foody scent available on the market (and let's be honest, it trumps most e-tailer scents as well). The scent of that rich, decadant lotion is at long last matched perfectly in perfume form here: rich, slightly salty caramel mixed with a sweet and creamy vanilla with a buttery texture so thick you can practically taste it. Truly divine. This is one of the rare caramel/vanilla gourmand scents that manages not to seem stale or sickening (though it can get a bit heavy if one does not apply with a careful hand). No, it's not an artistic perfume by any means (like all the scents in the Eau Gourmande line, it's completely linear), but the replica is so accurate and complex I still consider it quite an achievement.

Laura Mercier's Creme Brulee has notes of warm caramel, spun sugar, french vanilla beans & white musks. This scent is a dead ringer for the Creme Brulee bath and body collection in this line. It has the best staying power of the gourmandes....and this is the only one in the line that I would classify as "foody".
