I trust in Nivea products to the utmost. This is a great condensed and milkier version of the original, with a slightly non-Nivea smell, in my opinion.
Soaks in easily, pump is incredibly useful and efficient, and is generally pretty nice.
I'm a lotion junkie so I won't buy this again in the near future because I love trying new ones. But I would recommend as a normal lotion to anyone with normal to dry skin. This is no miracle product, though.

Nivea body smooth lotion is great to use on my skin that is often irritated by strong fragrances. After shaving i apply generously all over my body and my skin feels so hydrated! It is not sticky and does not rub off on clothing or leave a residue.

Absolutely great body lotion. In general, I love Nivea products and this one is no different. My skin was looking dry and awful in the winter. I have been using this with and an Olay body wash. The improvement is noticable, my skin is smooth. It absorbs fast, is non greasy. The pump is really convenient and non messy. The only thing I wish is the smell was a little nicer, more floral or non existent. I cant quite make out what the smell is here.

I love this body lotion, it's my favorite one I ever used.
I've been using it for a few days now, and I definitely notice a difference with my skin. I put it on my neck and chest area, my elbows, arms, and feet. I put socks on my feet and when I take them off a few hours later, my feet feel so so SOFT! :)
I also notice my skin is more moisturized with this lotion than with others, it also has a nice little glow. Love it, and I'll definitely buy this one again.

I have super pale skin and you can totally tell when my legs/arms are dry and I haven't really ever had success with using lotions. None of them really got down into my skin and really made a huge difference in moisture until I found this! I saw a commercial on it on TV awhile ago and I decided to purchase it. I was using baby lotion before I bought it and it didn't really do anything, I just enjoyed the smell. Over time I have noticed a significant difference in my skin and it really is so much softer and so much more moisturized than before! I use this every time after I shower and I use about three pumps for my legs, arms, and stomach. I have had this bottle for a LONG time and it truly lasts a super long time. This is a really good lotion and I definitely recommend it for people that need serious moisture for their skin like me!

Very nice, not too rich, soaks in right away. This will be a good body lotion for summer time. Right now I use it on my arms and lower legs (they don't need as much moisturizer as my torso and thighs), and Essentially Enriched on the rest of my body. I can definitely see the Essentially Enriched lotion becoming too rich when the Florida summer kicks in.
The scent is nice and mild. It also doesn't irritate freshly shaved legs, and most lotions do.

I ABSOLUTELY HATE PUTTING ON LOTION AFTER BATHING.
But this product changes that. Smells fantastic and absorbs very quickly. The fragrance is nice, not too strong IMO. Keeps my skin nice and hydrated.

Love this stuff. I have dry skin and this lotion makes my skin feel so soft and smooth after application. Absorbs quickly. Formula isn't too thin nor too thick. Has a baby powder/clean/fresh scent. Def would repurchase.

I LOVE this lotion! It's definitely in my top three products. This absorbs quickly and my skin feels instantly softer. I use it every day twice a day and get compliments on how soft my skin is all the time. I would suggest this to anyone and everyone. Normal, dry or combination skin, use this product!!!!!

I love love love this lotion!! I have combination oily and dry skin and this balances out my skin so well that I'll even slather this on my face after a shower if I'm feeling dried out and I won't feel greasy. I also love how the smell isn't overpowering (if you can smell it at all).

My go-to body lotion.... I have very dry skin on my body, and Nivea Smooth Sensation kills the dryness consistently and maintains moisture on my body all day. How do I know that? Well, I am caramel in color and when lotions don't last, my skin looks ashy. Vaseline Intesive Care (including their greasy cocoa butter line), Jergens, Eucerin, Curel, etc., don't measure up to the level of moisture Nivea provides. Why do I say that? Well, after using those, my skin is ashy 5 hours later. With Nivea, my skin is still moisturized from the morning when I undress at night.

The worst lotion I've used by far, compared to: Jergens, Lubriderm, and Curel.
You put it on one minute, and the next, you reach for it again. Useless.
And the packaging also has some problems... the pump gets stuck a little when trying to get a pump. However, it is fairy easy to lock for traveling.

I have dry skin, even though i live in a very humid environment.
Previously I was using Vaseline Aloe Fresh. Really liked the scent, and non-greasiness. However, i was still having patches of dry scaly skin on my thighs :(
In came this Nivea lotion, after reading all the good reviews about it. Alas, now i'm sitting in front of my pc, one hour after application, trying to cross my legs, but one leg keeps sliding off the other...they are simply too greasy! My skin simply cannot absorb the lotion...
The only good thing i can say about this lotion is the scent, not too overpowering, rather pleasant.
Shucks! I should have tried the Vaseline Cocoa Butter lotion instead...it was a few bucks cheaper than this Nivea lotion..

I have had a bottle of this at all times for probably 2 or maybe even 3 years now. I'll use other things, but this is an old standby and I generally will use it a few times a week. It has a nice smell (my boyfriend tends to like this scent better than some of my other fruity stuff) and it absorbs quickly and cleanly--no greasiness. I like the texture of the lotion too...it is a bit thicker than some other lotions but spreads evenly. Sometimes if I use another lotion, I'll go ahead and use this on my elbows and knees and heels too to give them some extra moisture. The only complaint I have is that when it gets low the pump has a hard time getting the last bits of it out, but in the grand scheme of things that's not a huge deal. I love the bottle color and I do think (although it is not advertised as this) the lotion has a very slight purple or bluish tint that brightens skin up.

I'm on a Nivea kick and have to try all of their products. This lotion is amazing. It actually goes on so smooth and silky, then absorbs into your skin instead of sitting on top or feeling sticky/greasy. It just feels soft and nourished. I have dry to very dry skin depending on the weather and this made it feel and look better. I don't know if it's the shea butter, combination of ingredients, or the Hydra IQ technology. This lotion isn't thick, so a little goes a long way. I also like the scent because it's somewhat like the Nivea Soft Creme.

I love Nivea and am biased to them but this lotion is fabulous. I usually use Nivea Creme but it is just too thick for warmer weather. This is best after a shower though it does take a few moments to sink in. The smell is pleasant, you will not have it overpower a fragrance you are wearing. It is nice enough to not need a fragrance. Love that it comes in both the full size and travel size, since I hate when I can not take my favorites with me.
Love the pump bottle as well since it is the only way I really like lotion as I feel I use too much any other way.

This is my current body lotion and I love it :) The only downside is that sometimes I feel sticky when I apply this after my shower. This is probably because my skin isn't completely dry when I put it on. Otherwise I love the smell, it goes on smoothly, and I feel like it keeps my skin hydrated throughout the day!!

OMG!!! I love this lotion. Not only does it sink in my dry mature skin without it being sticky it smells so good. I had to order it on line as I couldn't find it here so I didn't like to have to pay extra for shipping.
Hopefully the stores will have it here when I run out. Like the pump bottle as it is so much easier to dispense.

This is the best lotion ever! I've tried everything- from other drug store brands to higher end lotions- and I keep coming back to this! I've been repurchasing it for years now. It's just the perfect amount of moisture, it feels clean and light but keeps dry skin at bay. Great for all seasons. Especially makes my legs touchable and soft. I love it!

Currently my favorite summer lotion, as it soaks in quickly but leaves my extra-parched skin with the much-needed moisture it requires, particularly when I'm awful and don't use enough sunblock (like I did last weekend on the lake, oops.) i think Nivea has redone the ingredients, because my bottle mentions the inclusion of continuous Q10 hydration--maybe that's why I love it so much more than some of the previous reviewers? At any rate, it was a steal on sale at $5.99 for a large pump bottle at rite-aid. Nivea is quickly becoming one of my favorite brands; I use their lip balm in the dark blue tube and the soft lotion on my face...i honestly believe my mom had it right when she used Nivea a long time ago!
