I purchased 3 of these recently. I have had few of these earlier but I guess I forgot why I ever got rid of them. Now I remember. Malibu is a gorgeous rosy tan color with shimmer. I would really love it but the texture is weird. It really does not stick to the skin like NYX cream blush or MAC cremeblend blush. So it really lasts only a couple of hours on my dry skin and then it is gone. It is easy to blend and in my opinion it is not dry. It also is not moisturizing at all so using this on my lips really does not work. I enjoy using a regular lipsticks as blush more than these multiples really.

I purchased this multiple in a mini set (very mini and came with Orgasm and Luxor too). It's awfully dark and I've tried it on in a variety of ways - nothing is making me head over heals for it. I've tried it as an eye shadow and it's too sheer and doens't pack much staying power even with a primer, and it's too dark on my complexion for a lip color. Out of the three, I like the Orgasm multiple the best, but I'm not sure if I'd every buy it again.

This is a great product for on the go, if you are going on a vacation and want to pack light in your make up bag or your purse, this is great. It is compact, rich, and the color is great too, i use this for as my shadow base or alone, as a cream blush (just very light) and also as a lip gloss, its just the right amount of color without looking like a clown, we are usually at the beach during the summer and the color/ tone is just right.

I really like the malibu multiple. I only use it for eyes and cheeks though. I never use it as a gloss. Its a make up kit all by itself. Its a beautiful natural rosy color on my skin and it adds a nice glow to my face when my is showing signs of tiredness.

I LOVE this product! This is one of my "can't live without it" products. I have probably owned 6 Multiples over the years. I originally started with Malibu, but tried others: Portofino and St. Barts. However, Malibu is the best color. It looks so good, just natural, rosy and a touch bronzy. It gives an instant radiance and glow to the skin. If I put this on and nothing else, I can look "alive." I use it as an eyeshadow also with some NARS Night Fever over the top or a darker color, depending on the intensity of the look I am going for. It's also a great highlighter that I use on shoulders etc. NARS Malibu is the best! I will keep using it until they no longer make it.

This might look boring or too dark next to the other Multiples but it might be my favorite of the bunch! Malibu is one of the most universally flattering colors of the range in my opinion, it's a classy rosy brown - the kind of shade that you can wear anywhere and it gives a healthy, natural look. I love it on my NW15 neutralish complexion and I use it when I want to quickly do my makeup for work, it looks great in a simple look, with some shimmery champagne cream e/s, a little e/l and mascara. On the expensive side but highly recommended!

I love this color! It's the most flattering dusty mauve. It's just enough to make my medium complexion look like I've spent a day at the beach. It gives you the most amazing glow. I dont think that this formula is suited to my oily skin though. I love this on my cheeks and lips though. I wish it had better staying power on me though. :( Overall for the price and performance I can recommend this to normal and dry skin types only who want higher end product than MAC even.

I dont find multiples generally that nice. In my opinion they are too dry and hard to spread and really they generally dont give enough color pay off. I have had Sumatra, Maui, Malibu, Mustique. I am pale person MAC NW 20 and I find that Maui, Mustique did not really do anything for me. Maui was so hard to get anough color of and mustique just left me a sheer peachy glow not strong enough color that I am used to and that I like. Sumatra wich is super dark plummy shade left me with enough color, it blended out to a sheer rosy plummy flush and Malibu which we are actully supposed to be talkin now left me with just enough color. It gives me the healthy glow which is not orangey or peachy like the most bronzers. On my opinion it does not look muddy at all, it is frankly too sheer to look muddy, but I am happy the way it shows up. If I would repurchase which I wont because I prefer shiseido sticks, I would purchase one of these darkest shades like Malibu.

These multiples are so expensive and yet so addictive. Malibu looks dark in the tube but applies pretty sheer like the other multiples. It gives a nice flushed look which I really like. This is one of my favorite multiples as well as South Beach, and Portofino. Will buy again if it runs out in my lifetime.

i hated this. i wasn't intimidated by the dark color- i've learned that sometimes dark, bright colors can look really great if applied correctly. but this is an exception. the consistency of the stick is extremely dry, so it's difficult to apply it without getting big racing stripes. i don't find that it blends very well either. and unfortunately, the stick snapped right in the middle, somehow. which is strange, because i certainly don't roll it all the way up to apply it. anyway, it made a mess of the tube, and it just felt like a rip off, to spend so much money on something that seemed so cheap. :(

I will be brief because there are so many other reviews of this. With my fair skin and wintery coloring, this was waaaaay too dark for me. A muddy mess that even when well blended made me look a little bit hooker-ish. However, it looks fabulous on my mom, who has medium-beige (BE foundation) coloring with warm undertones. So she's rocking it, while I stick to my lighter pinks. I do love the Multiples, and I am continuing on my quest to try them all!

Oh, and I have seen comparisons between this and Maui (much pinker and more blendable) and Portofino (not even similar, it's like a corally pink). Both of those are staples for me, but Malibu just didn't work as well.

I just got this over the wk/end..... I was approached by a nars makeup artist & never having used nars, I consented... very glad that I did. she did me up & I felt daytime gorgeous... very subtle, very simple, very recreatable... I'm considering going back for the foundation (deauville)

But the Malibu Multiple, she used... on my cheeks, lips & eyes... and its not a color I EVER would have even looked at... I'm fair skinned & it looks so dramatic... but I havta say it looks really good. It seriously brightens up my entire face... I wouldnt have thought putting what essentially looks like a dark red blush on my eyes would work... but it really is flattering while being really subtle. She just pressed it into my lips lightly... I dont think as a lipstick this would work, it works to almost flush my lips.... it doesnt dry out, and doesn't slip off my lips, cheeks or eyes. Doesn't settle into any eye lid creases. Yeah...it wasn't cheap and I didn't purchase anything else because of that (and they didnt give up any samples which I would have liked) BUT... as for my first NARS experiece... I'm glad I gave it a try... and I'm really liking this versatile multiple.

I never thought i'd ever pick a color THIS red as a blush or as a lip color since I'm normally a neutral girl. But it shows up surprisingly light and gives the most awesome flush on my cheeks, and it looks so natural, like i'm naturally blushing. Haven't tried using it as an eye color but I'm guessing it'll work best as a blush cuz reds generally look bad on my lids (they make me look like I've been crying). I also tried using it as a lip color... meh. Didn't really like that. But then again, the very helpful SA told me that this particular color is generally to be used as a blush. The price is a bit steep, but you do get a lot of product and you only need very little per application, so I'm sure it'll last me a good while. Love the packaging, the twist up lipstick like tube is pure genius and takes touch ups so much easier.

Like the reviewer below said, the price has shot up in the past couple of years. NARS used to be my guilty pleasure, since I'm a broke student, but now I have to find another brand to fill that gap.
I've used this on and off for about 4 years, still have a ton left. I use it mostly as a blush in the winter time, b/c the creamy texture doesn't stay on my face in the summer and yet it's too drying to use as a lipstick, unless I messily mix it with some lip balm first. It just looks plain dirty on my eyes, but a beautiful, slightly (very slightly) shimmery blush. I said I would repurchase it, but I don't think I'll ever run out, plus wth is up with the price???

I recently rediscovered this product in the back of my makeup drawer, and I think it's been hiding for a long time, because I don't think I would spend $36.50 on one makeup product! Seriously, wasn't it $28 a few years ago? Anyway, a little goes a long way with the multiple, esp on my fair skin, and since the twist up packaging is pretty large, it will hopefully it last for more years to come.

I LOVE this product! Adore it even! I snagged a fingerful of it from my boyfriend's sister's NARS palette and knew I HAD to ahve it!

Malibu is the perfect plummy matte lipstick as far as I am concerned and has marvelous staying power that I was not expecting from teh product. I love it as a blush too, but with my large pores I have to be careful not to let creamy products get stuck in them. I will ahve to use a primer next time and that should curtail the problem. But the colour is just gorgeous and very long lasting! Will definitely buyt his again!

I wish they sold Nars m/u line in Italy! Anyway, this product is amazing, I bought it on Ebay and I couldn't be happier w/the purchase. I use Malibu as a blush or as a blush primer almost everyday, it really does a great job. Incredibly easy to blend, I just use my fingers to apply the product on my cheeks - no m/u brushes required. I think Malibu (and Multiples in general) is/are perfect for everyone, they highlight the C-curve area of cheekbone to browbone gorgeously. When this stick is gone, I will definitely be replacing it.

So I've been on a Multiple high here- started with Copacabana and went out and got 2 other colors in the same week!! I absolutely love how this looks. In the tube, it looks very dark pinky brown with shimmer. When its on, it makes my cheeks look nice and flushed. I love the quality and the portability of the Multiples, theyre very creamy and seem thick, but go on very sheer and totally buildable. I'm not a great fan of swivel tubes, I really worry that the stick will plop out one day, but these probably wont for a while. This one seems softer than my Copa so I think this one will probably run out faster too. I adore these things and will definitely buy it again when it runs out and and the way I'm going I'll probably end up with all of the colors!

i thought the consistency was really nice, better than paula dorf imo. i had no trouble blending it & it didn't accentuate my pores as w/ p.d. however, i wasn't too jazzed about the color. it wasn't bad, just not particularly special...especially for that price. it just looks like a really basic warm pink hue. it depends on the individual attitude.
