Amazing cleansing water!
i hate make up remover lotions as they really make me feel oilier and dirtier and use soap products or this cleansing water.
To be honest i haven't used any other cleansing water to compare but for me it works just great, Cleans extremely well without leaving any trace of oiliness of course but also without the stretchy felling after soap cleansers.
Just a really comfortable clean skin.

This is a great for sensitive skin. I use this to take off my makeup at night before cleansing and it was very gentle. The only thing keeping me from buying again is the cost.

NC25 Chinese, acne prone, waterproof sunscreen and full makeup.
Not as gentle as Bioderma Crealine H2O (pink cap). If I had to find one in the US stateside immediately, I would pick the Vichy micellar over the Caudalie.

This is hands down my favourite micellaire cleansing water.
I have sensitive, oily, acne-prone skin and I live in a humid tropical climate but spend more than half my day in air-conditioned environments.
Between this and Bioderma's Sensibio, I prefer this so much more because it smells nicer, it makes my skin feel softer and more moisturised, and where I am it's cheaper than Bioderma. They both clean just as well but because of these other factors, I prefer this product so much more. I do rinse my face with water after using this though, as I don't like any product (apart from moisturiser and make-up) sitting on my face for too long. I am currently on a skin care regime from my dermatologist and this and Bioderma's Sensibio are the only 2 make up removers that complement my regime.
My only gripes with this are that it does not remove water proof mascara, and they aren't sold at the drug store. I have to go to Sephora to buy these, but they last awhile because the bottle is big.

I repurchased this cleansing water once, but I will not repuchase it again. Here's why:
PROS:
- The smell is fantastic! I'm not sensitive to fragrances, but this may be an issue for people with sensitive skin. After trying the not-so-nice-smelling Bioderma, this was a nice change.
- I like using this in the morning, for a quick, refreshing wake-me-up cleanse.
CONS:
- This is not very effective for removing makeup. It struggles to remove mascara and other long lasting makeup. I needed to use many cotton pads soaked in this before they came away clear. Hence, I went through my first bottle really fast.
- Because I needed so much of this and went through it so fast, the price was too high for me. If it was cheaper and had performed better, I'd repurchased it, but at this rate, I just couldn't afford it.
So, all in all a nice smelling cleanser for a quick rinse in the morning, but not effective enough to remove makeup at night. Sometimes, I use this after my proper cleanse, as a toner, because it smells nice.

Love love love the smell. It deep cleans and removes eye makeup! I find that after my nightly deep clean and treatments that in the morning this water really wakes me up brightens my day and just all around puts me in a great mood. I def recommend this product to somebody who feels like its hard to afford caudalie products but loves the sensory experience (ME!) lol

This product is ok, it didn't irritate my skin or anything... but there are similar products that work better at a lower price. I found when I was relying on this as a cleanser, I had a bit of a blackhead problem overtime - so I am guessing it didn't clean well enough for me. For me, this was enough to encourage a switch because my skin simply can't tolerate cleansing with water and soap twice a day. I tried Avene, which worked alright - but it didn't remove mascara as well. I am using Vichy now and it works much better, has less fragrance, and is way cheaper (you can find 400ml Vichy for less than the 200ml caudalie!)
In conclusion: great as a primary step in cleansing, but I wouldn't trust it to remove all the grime (even light mineral makeup or tinted moisturizer).

Wow this is an excellent cleanser. It really does clean your skin but is so gentle on sensitive skin like mine. I use RA so I have really sensitive skin now and this product is just amazing. I use it sometimes when I'm lazy before bed to remove my eye makeup because I can't stand having it on when I'm sleeping. Mind you I'm a mascara junkie and I use a lot! This cleanser get's it all off with no irritation. That's what amazes me is that it feels so good on your skin and does the job. I keep mine in a cool place because it feels so good on my eyes when the water is cooler.I would say if I don't want to wash my face before bed with 5 cotton balls my whole face is done and clean. I do not think that's bad because of how much makeup I wear. Plus you only need a small amount for it to cleanse your skin.
My skin feels so soft and hydrated not stripped of anything which I really like. I apply moisturizer and to bed I go. When I do wash my face at night I will use this in the A.M. to freshen my skin before I apply makeup. It cleans so well that sometimes I don't have to wash my face as often. This is great because the more I wash it the more dryness I have to deal with from the weather and the Retin. So this helps mitigate that.
I really recommend this product to girls with all types of skin. It works so well I can't see myself using any other cleansing water because this stuff is soo good! Ladies get this you will not be disappointed it has not made me breakout in fact it has helped against them because normally if you don't get all your makeup off you can breakout. With this you really get clean skin. And for me no breakouts.
This is really a must try item because it just is that good in my opinion. I recommend this very highly and I will repurchase this without a doubt.

This is great for removing the make up everyday. It's a very soft and no-irritating water, so I use it even for removing rimmel, eyeliner, etc., around my eyes.
I don't feel my skin dry after using it, as I used to feel with similar products.
I usually buy the 400ml bottle, the price is ok and it lasts months.

I've always had dry/combination skin. Over the last 1.5 years though, I've developed sensitive after an allergic reaction to Bobbi Brown's foundation (such a nightmare!). I was looking for a regular makeup remover for sensitive skin when the sale's assistant recommended me this. And so far, I love this product! It's not harsh on my skin and yet removes most of my makeup ( it isn't as good in removing waterproof mascara and gel eyeliners). On my lazy days, the cleansing water is enough for me to remove my makeup before I hit the sack. I usually use this before washing my face with a cleanser. Great product and great value considering the fact that I've been using the same on since 1.5 years ago.

I use this water as a cleanser for mornings and also to remove most makeup before deep cleansing at night. I just soak a cotton pad with this and it rids my skin of greasies and most of my makeup. I like that it is not harsh or drying and I like the mild smell. This isn't so cheap, but I see that it will last a while for me so repurchasing won't be a problem. As an eye makeup remover, I cannot really say how well it works on anything waterproof as I have lash extensions (obsessed! will never go back to mascara or falsies again, EVER!) so no mascara or eyeliner is needed. I use this solely for eyeshadow removal if I even wear that. All in all, I really enjoy using this as my skin does not break out from it and feels very comfortable. I highly recommend!

This is very nice. I use it in the morning after washing my face simply with water and leaves my skin fresh and clean. it smells wonderful and it does not leave a film, which i hate. as for demake up i haven't used it yet but i am sure it would be equally nice.

In Singapore, this product is rather expensive as Sephora always increases the price of ALL items as compared to other outlets worldwide. Sephora sells this at around $40! I'll only buy from Sephora if i feel like doing a bit of monthly splurging.
However, I received this in my monthly subscription beauty box called, Bellabox (something like Birchbox/Vanity Trove) and i totally fell in love with this.
It does not cause any breakouts, easy to remove any stubborn make up and does not irritate my eyes. This is like my new HG make up remover. I do use a cleanser after this as I have acne prone skin so I dont think I should use this as a cleanser too. I've switched from Bioderma to Caudalie as I really loved the removing power of this product.
And yes, I noticed that it is used really fast as compared to other make up removers. I prefer water based removers compared to oil based as water based prevents future breakouts. My skin is super sensitive. So I think that if my skin is able to handle this, I'm sure this product will be a Topseller!!

This is an ok cleanser for a quick skin refresh in the morning or if you aren't wearing any makeup, but it wasn't at all effective for removing my cream shadow, mascara and the glue from my lashes. I used 4 cotton pads and still wasn't 100% clear! I only have a small bottle of this as part of a kit and can already see I will finish this way before everything else, so I'm saving it for the no makeup days only! I much prefer an oil to remove makeup anyway and this cleanser only reinforces my opinion on that!

I had a smaller bottle of this to try out. I'm a big fan of cleansing waters (specifically Bioderma Sensibio) so thought I'd give this a try. I found this one stung my eyes slightly, but performed well on the rest of my face.
I will most likely stick with my Bioderma, but this was not all that bad. The scent was pleasant and my skin felt soft and non-irritated (the exception being my eyes) after use.

I found the large 400ml bottle of this in a pharmacy in Paris for 16Euros. I tried it, loved it, and promptly bought a second to take home with me. I've just spent 2 months in Europe this summer and micellar waters are all the rage there, and they come in every price point. (Citipharm in Paris even has its own generic version which is 6 Euros for 500ml). I've tried Bioderma Crealine; Vichy, Nuxe, Avene, and this one. This one and Nuxe are hands down the best micellar waters I've tried (Avene's was too sticky and broke me out, though it could have been the aloe-and-silk infused cotton pad I used with it; Vichy's didn't cleanse very well). I don't wear much makeup, but I do wear sunscreen. I find that two large cotton pads (using both sides) are all I need to cleanse my face and neck completely in the evening; One will suffice in the morning. Caudalie's water feels a tiny bit more abrasive than the silky Bioderma (though that could just be the cotton pads I selected), but it leaves me feeling cleaner and fresher than the others, with no filmy feeling. I love the fresh, delicate and unobtrusive scent. Nuxe's micellar water (3 roses) is also excellent, but I found myself using more to get the job done, and it's much more expensive. So glad I stocked up on Caudalie!
I've been using this for a week (and micellar waters for 2 months) and my sensitive, hormonal skin is clearer than ever. Would-be pimples speed up to little dry dots overnight. And I've got my period, so I ought to be breaking out, but there is not a single bump in sight. I do use Retin-A micro /1%, but no internal medications, and no BP, so it usually can't stop the bumps around my chin that show up once a month. Micellar waters did. (Another great European purchase was 5% ibuprofen gel, which cuts out all inflammation on pimples and helps them clear in 1/3 of the time. Definitely try to find this if you can! It's sold in the pain relief section of the pharmacies, and online. And Savlon quick healing gel is genius on cuts, scratches, irritated or popped ones. I can't figure out why we don't have these products in the US).

Actually, the packaging is perfectly lovely, but I wanted to write this review because I actually transfer my cleansing water into an atomizer and find that I like the effect so much more. I wish it came that way. I spray my face liberally with the Caudalie cleansing water (it does not sting the eyes), and wipe/pat clean with a fresh towel. I originally got the cleansing water from a Gilt sale and found it didn't do much with a cotton ball. I was just running out of my Red Flower Rose Camellia Plum mist (5 Stars for anything from them) and poured the cleansing water in the empty atomizer. This is definitely the way to appreciate its gentle yet thorough cleansing properties, especially if you don't want a big production.

I use this for really lazy evenings on its own as a cleanser or when I'm wearing heavy makeup and want to remove that before a proper cleanse.
I absolutely love it! It removes every trace of my makeup, doesn't irritate my skin or sting my eyes and best of all doesn't leave a film. It's the first "quick cleanse" type product I've ever used that both works and doesn't make me want to run and wash my face all over again. It really feels soft and gentle and my skin feels clean after. It does have a scent but it's very fresh and seems to be naturally occurring from the oils, it really doesn't irritate at all.
For reference I have sensitive skin prone to allergic reactions and acne rosacea. Wipes and my skin don't get along and i find Bioderma useless, painful and stingy on my eyes and leaves a film behind that means I can't just use it on its own. I'm chuffed to finally have a lazy option, I can even "wash" my face in bed :)
I know Bioderma gets the hype, but I recommend you try this first, this has made me finally see what the fuss with micellar water is about.

This was the first cleansing water I tried, after hearing so much about them (i.e. after Lisa Eldriged showed the bioderma in one of her videos;)) And I'm really pleased with it. It has one major pro: it is super gentle! It doesn't sting my eyes at all. I actully used this on my 6 year old niece (who has lots of allergies, eczema and really sensitive skin) and 4 year old nephew after we had been playing with makeup (waterproof eyeliner, red lipstick and so on) and none of them complained about it stinging their eyes. And they usually do when I've used other things to remove their makeup. (We're just playing with makeup, they always want to put some on when they see me do it)
It is not the most effective of them all, but it does it's job decently. It doesn't get rid of my mascara - but I use one of those tubing ones that are removed with warm water - and waterproof eyeliner is a bit tricky to get rid off as well, but everything else is removed. I wouldn't recomend this as your only cleanser, exept for emergencies such as late nights, but then again I think you should always double cleanse.
Another pro: The scent is very nice and fresh, very "french" (whatever that means)

This stuff is BRILLIANT! I am on my 3rd bottle of this stuff, and still as impressed with it now as I was on the first. It is gentle, smells beautiful, is effective, and the price tag isn't to much to pay for such a large 200ml bottle. Caudalie makes such beautiful products, and this is just another one to add to the list! Cant live without this in my skincare routine. Perfect for mornings if you are in a rush. I just sweep a cotton pad with some of this over my face, and even though i have dry skin i don't need to apply moisturizer or anything because it's not at all drying. I prefer to use a more thorough cleanser in the evenings, but for the mornings..I can't imagine using anything else now!
