This hand&body lotion is good overall.
not sticky, watery texture, fast absorption, my sensitive skin likes it everyday.
Apply after shower, only on cleansed skin a product will penetrate well into the skin.
I have used 2 bottles for the past 4 months.

Love this stuff. It smells amazing and is the perfect consistency-not too thin, not too thick, not greasy. Leaves skin soft. Love the natural ingredients (no parabens!) and convenient pump. It may be a little expensive if you buy the smaller container, but some retailers sell it in large 32 oz. bottles for a very fair price.

This has a good lavender scent and I like that it is organic. I feel this moisturizes well as my legs feel soft after using. I will repurchase this in the future.

I'm a huge fan of anything lavender and this lotion is great. It's a lovely all natural product with an authentic not artificial scent of lavender. I would say lavender is an aquired scent, but keep using it and you'll soon love it. The moisturizing qualities of this are medium, not rich and a bit runny, but don't get me wrong it still imparts moisture on the skin. This, the shampoo and conditioner are all fabulous.

I love this moisturizer. I love it is natural, smells great like fields of lavender. :) Its def not crap you are putting on your skin like some bath and body works cheaply made stuf. I feel good putting this on my body because I know it is healthy. For the most part its moisturizing but I would like to see them come out with a heavier cream lavender moisturizer, one for winter. Overall great product will and have continued to purchase.

I like the smell of the Lavender Conditioner and Body Wash of Avalon, but the Bodylotion smells too chemical.

It does a good job, but for a handcream it is too light (when your hands need a repair).

It comes in a pump bottle, which is a good thing.

I bought this product because I love the natural and wonderful smell of lavender in the Avalon Organics lavender range. While the smell of this is wonderful, its moisturising effect does not last long enough. And if you try washing your hands even 20 minutes after you've put this stuff on, you can feel the lotion washing off your hands.

I am sticking with Aveeno Skin Relief Moisturising Lotion as my HG body moisturiser now (see my review on this).

This product is an awful moisturizer. I put it on my hands at night and when i wake up in the morning and wash my hands, i can feel the moisturizer sliding off, as if it was only on the surface the entire time and never sank in. This product gets a 2 instead of a 1 only because i really love the smell. It's the closest thing to real lavender in any product I've used so far. It doesn't smell fake or sweetened so if you don't like true lavender scent i'd imagine this would be really offensive. There is no other reason to buy this product except for aromatherapy purposes because it doesn't actually moisturize. Will not be buying again.

Oooh, I like this. I love lavender, and this is a true, clean, bracing, herbal lavender. Admittedly, that in itself means it can be overpowering to some, but I adore it, much better than the powdered-down lavenders out there nowadays. (For reference, to me, it smells very similar to Kiss My Face's Lavender and Shea Butter Ultra Moisturizer.)

The consistency is neither too thick nor too thin. It spreads easily and sinks in right away. To be honest, I don't use it as a body lotion anymore, because it gets used up too quickly. However, this has a permanent place on my desk at work. I'm washing my hands constantly, and this not only keeps them soft and moisturized, it smells fantastic to boot.

Will (and have!) repurchase.

Wow, I'm surprised by these ratings. I LOVE this lotion. To begin, it has a nice strong lavender smell, that's a little more tart and lemon-y than the usual soft floral version. I absolutely adore the smell and hate that it doesn't linger on my skin. The actual lotion is the perfect balance between not so thin that it doesn't moisturize, and not so thick that it can't be spread. I love the consistency and find that it moisturizes even dry patches very well. While not organic, the lotion doesn't contain any petroleum or mineral oil, which is a big plus for me, and it also means that you're getting your moneys worth. I think this is a great moisturizing lotion if you don't mind strong scents.

Love the smell and feel of this lotion. After putting some one, people always seem to comment on how good I smell. The aroma of lavender is quite soothing and uplifting, and I feel good about using Avalon products.

You'd be hard-pressed not to find a good body lotion nowadays that isn't chock full of harmful parabens or synthetic ingredients. This one stands up to the test - it glides on and leaves the skin moisturized and silky, while delicately fragranced with organic lavender oil. The pump bottle is very convenient and tidy. Perfect to keep on your desk at work - prevent your hands from getting dry, and let the lavender scent ease your tensions away.

This is a good body lotion with a very nice lavender smell. The lotion sinks in well after a few minutes. The product is designed for people with normal skin, however for dry skin, this product is not very suitable, therefore 3 lippies

ok - i should have known. i have been using burt's bees body oils for a year or more now and was happy with them. recently, i became bored and decided to try avalon organics lavender line (i love their shampoo) and i love the smell of lavender and thought that it would be great to smell like lavender from head to toe. well, i love the smell, but to me the lotions just sit on top of my skin and don't really sink in. when i go and wash my hand or get any water on my skin i can feel the slime of the old lotion still there and that is distasteful to me. it just shows me that it never really sank in all the way. wish that avalon would come out with a lavender body oil - i would probably use that - but until then i am going to go back to bb body and bath oils. i just like that they really sink all the way into my skin and don't just stay on top. so, no - i will not buy this again - but i gave it a 4 because it is a lotion and for a lotion it was great - i will probably give this to my sister.

I find the smell of this lotion to be a bit overpowering when first put on, but it fades after it is absorbed, which is fairly quickly.
I really like this product. I've been desperately looking for a good moisterizer for my hands that isn't greasy and I think I've found it! It leaves my skin, including my VERY dry hands, silky and smooth and totally without the feeling of having a moisterizer on, which I hate. I highly recommend it! If you don't like the smell of lavender, though, don't go near it!

I work at a public library and w/ patrons (okay, and staff) coughing and sneezing all over everything and then touching everything else, my co-workers and I wash our hands often and thoroughly. As such, our hands get dried out. Anyway, my boss brought this lotion for our office and we all love it. Besides the relaxing lavender scent (read: clean, herbally, and non-offensive), it works well as a hand lotion. It's not so thick that it takes forever to sink in or spread around, but it's not one of those wimpy milky lotions, either. As a side note, there's only 1 male employee in the department I work in and he commented on how nice we always smell. It's the lotion I tell you!!!

Love the lavender smell!

Only Con is that it's really expensive... As I'm used to buying cheap drugstore brands

The scent of this lotion is nice, but it's just a very basic lavender lotion. I don't find it to be particularly moisturizing.
