A great summer beachy coconut scent. Melts into the skin and moisturises well.

You really cant appreciate this unless you smell it. It is hands down the BEST scent for the summer. It's light and coconut-filled, it's sexy and so beachy. It's the only scent on my skin from June-July. The oil is not heavy, does not clog the pores and the scent will last you all day. If you can get your hands on this, do! You wont regret it and you will smell like everyone aims to smell in the summer.

Rarely do I come across a scent that I would describe as extraordinary, but this truly is extraordinary!! People always ask what I'm wearing when I have this on. It is reminiscent of suntan oil, but with more notes, not just the typical coconut. It is very warm, sensual, and exotic. It's meant to be a summer scent, but I wear it year round here in San Diego. In an effort to conserve what I have (since it was limited edition) I don't use it as a body oil. I only give myself two spritzes, but that's enough to keep me scented all day.

Smelled this on a friend when she leaned in to hug me and immediately went out the next day and bought the last two bottles they had at Macy's. I wish I could have alteast smelled the perfume, but that was already long sold out. Anywho, this smells like black coconut at first and dries down to a sexy, spicy, skin smell. I love it, and it drives the men wild. ;-) As I basically use it for the scent, I conserve by only putting it on my neck, arms, and a dab or two in my hair. So far it has lasted fairly well (though I will cry when I am out since it was LE), but I could see how it would be used up fast if used for an all over body oil. Speaking of, it actually is a half decent skin moisturizer, and my arms are always very smooth yet non-greasy when I use this. Way too expensive and precious to be used every day, but totally worth it on special occasions. Would absolutely repurchase, but as we all know, it was LE and is now gone....

Ooooh, I love this! LOVE. IT. I don't know where this beach is, but I want to go there NOW. Went on a wild goose chase to get my hands on this stuff as it was sold out everywhere, but it was totally worth it. Coconut, sandalwood and all kinds of yummy. My mom nearly keeled over when I put it on at the counter at Niemans. Now she steals it when she visits me. And it's CHEAP and a bottle lasts forever as you only need just a little bit. Wonderful any time of year, too, I've discovered. Wore it in the dead of winter and it transported me to some tropical paradise, with mosquito netting over the daybeds and the ocean breeze softly billowing the curtains. In fact, come to think of it, I may go put it on again right now....

I got this product from an Estee Lauder outlet store for 23.00 and can not believe how much I love this summery scent. It reminds me of the beach, but not in the same way BB Beach does. It is an oil, so you'll want to spray it on your skin rather than clothing. It isn't really hot yet where I live but I would imagine the scent would last longer on slightly moister skin. It is for that reason I gave it 4 lippies out of 5. It's a huge bottle and I can see myself going back to the store for more before they're gone. LOVE IT!!!

Gosh, is this stuff amazing! Everyone at my job is obsessed with it-no one can walk by the EL counter without spritzing a little on their arms or legs. This smells like pure heaven and is really moisturizing too. I wish this was a permanent thing, but I have to stock up!

I love dry oil sprays, so when I saw EL came out with a new one I was all set to buy it. That was until I smelled this stuff. I sprayed it on and nearly puked, I was overcome with some sort of sweet coconut and chemical smell, which in some cases can be tolerable, but this was putrid. Needless to say, I didn't purchase and like all of EL's fragrances, this one stinks too.

I received a sample of this from the lovely Mushymama, who, in her fragrance goddess wisdom, somehow divined that I would love it. Indeed I doo. Although it definitely has that '70's summer driving home from the beach with your hair all salty and your skin a glorious mixture of salt, sand, and suntan oil (this being a memory of days before heavy duty sunscreens) thing, it IS also very appropriate for work. This is essentially suntan oil, but taken over to a more interesting and sophisticated place because of the woods and the soft florals. It does layer quite well with other scents, and it that case I'll usually wear the oil on my arms and shoulders and spray whatever scent I feel like layering in the back of my knees. When I wear it with Vetyver Extraordinaire, it tampers the dryness of that scent in a lovely way. I've also worn it with Musc Ravageur and the combination of the warm vanilla musc is also lovely and quite the warming combination on a winter day. It really is a wonderful light scent, nothing too complicated. But then again, it's not meant to be. Would definitely purchase if it hadn't already been long gone from all EL counters.

I'm not sure if I can adequately describe this but I'm going to give it a go. My absolute favorite scents always have a bit of "I don't know what" to them, and this is no different. I only smell the coconut that others have mentioned on initial spray. The tiare kind of floats in and out throughout the day. Once it's been on a few minutes though it definitely morphs into something aquatic (but none of that dreaded ozone) and woody (mostly sandalwood which is so hard to get right, but they really nailed it here). Whenever I wear this my sister tells me I smell like "the beach...but better." It's absolutely perfect for summer (and for me, for Florida, because it's summer here most of the year!). Because it's an oil it gives your skin, especially if you have a tan, a lovely sheen. It soaks in and the scent sits next to your skin all day. The fragrance won't announce itself when you walk into a room, but if someone comes within a few inches of you, they'll get a whiff of the most lovely smell that's part you, part the fragrance. The bottle is beautiful and summery too. The clear glass, gold, and light aqua make you think of summer just looking at it. I'm so glad I grabbed a couple of bottles because this was LE and is gone from most counters. I've heard rumor that EL is considering making this into a permanent perfume, so if you love this as much as I do, write letters and cross your fingers!

What a fabulous beachy scent. Everything is in balance, the coconut, tiare, sandalwood- it just smells like a marvelous, expensive suntan oil- I happen to love this. The oil itself is nicely moisturizing right out of the shower and the scent lasts all day on me. It really is very relaxing in a glamorous way. In the evening, I layer it with L'Artisan Ananas Fizz and I have gotten many compliments- more so than any other fragrance in several years. I am actually not sharing my secret as I love this scent so much. Hopefully, this LE will somehow find it's way into the regular lineup- a product this good simply cannot disappear.

Why are the best products always LE??? I love this! It's a great fun summertime scent. Light and beachy, this one is really perfect for warm weather. I don't mind the oil at all, as it gives my skin a nice sheen, but I wish they would bottle the *same* scent as a perfume spray (NOT the Azuree perfume of the same name but different scent) And the price can't be beat. Too bad it's probably gone forever after this summer!

This indecisive product swings in between a perfume and a body oil, but to judge by the fact that 1/5 of the bottle was gone only 5 days after Azuree joined my glass clan – I think of it as a body oil. The scent is mild and non-overpowering. Despite its definite presence and unique odour, it does not seem like an improbable act of insanity to wear other fragrance on your wrists while your skin is covered with the glowing aura of this subtle, sensual scent. I was a bit surprised when I smelled it first because it is rather spicy. With all the coconut and gardenia hype, one might grow to expect Azure to be just another fun suntan oil scent. Azure is mostly a woody scent, warmed with allspice and cloves. It has a spicy-sweet and woody-dry, warm presence at first. Than it gradually melts into the skin and radiates an aura of a warm sand and skin, or a shampooed hair heated by direct sun light. The gardenia is very subdued and so are the coconut and myrrh. The overall feeling when wearing Azuree Body Oil after a while is what one would want a sun tan lotion to be: a non-obstrusive complement to one’s skin. And that’s what I love about it.
The packaging is simple and exquisite, thee exact colours of Youth Dew Bath Oil. The apple did not fall far from the tree in this case…
A downside is, though, that all the cinnamic acids and spicy aromas can be a bit tough on the skin. If you have a sensitive skin don’t apply it all over your body – it may result in a burning or itching sensation or irritation to the skin. This is why it would be nice if it came in a more concentrated oil that can be applied discreetly to pulse points, or just a perfume, a-la-Youth Dew Bath Oil.
Another issue is the price: if (and I repeat: IF) Azuree was a perfume, the price (below $40 CAD) would have been very attractive. But, considering the fact that it is a Body Oil, and is meant to cover more skin than a perfume – it goes faster that I wish it would, and so the price is actually not as great as it seems…

I love this product. This smells amazing to me, the perfect beachy scent. It starts off with Tiare and coconut and then morphs into a woody scent. On me a dries down to mostly sandalwood with hints of coconut & tiare. So yummy, I get compliments all the time on this. Surprising this lasts quite well. Too bad it is LE :(

This product is fab. I do hope they make a perfume out of it. The SA was spraying this and slathering the Body Tint all over me, I really didn't know what to think of it. Well, the next morning I woke up and smelled the most delicious scent I have ever smelled. I had to have it! I called the SA that done the spraying--they were out. Two days and four phone calls later I have three bottles of it. I absolutely love it. I don't know what it was, it just grew on me. It smells so different than anything I've ever worn. The scent kind of starts to smell like something very familiar, but then it goes another way and you're totally lost. It changes and gets better the longer you have it on. It's an oil, but it sinks in and leaves a nice sheen. It's not greasy and the smell is divine. I even bought the Body Tint (a few more days & phone calls later) so I could layer the products to make the scent stronger. I don't know what I'll do if they don't bring this back. I think Tom Ford is amazing, I'm so glad he's hooked up with Estee Lauder:)

Like bbayer, I bought 2 bottles of the Azuree Body Oil, mainly because I was told that stock of this product is running low here in Australia. It's winter at the moment for us, and I thought I would stock up for summer. A marketing ploy - but I couldn't help myself, I love it soooo much. But I think what's attracted me most to this product is the bottle!!! I love the gold and turquoise cap, and the champagne-coloured oil. I put it next to my Azuree bronzer palette on my dresser, and I've often found myself wasting precious makeup time starring unconciously in admiration of these Tom Ford's creations. The scent is delightful, conjuring up images of the beach because of the hint of "noix de coco". However, the emollient properties of the oil is only so-so, possibly because of the winter dryness. Then again, all of these light, scented spray-on body oil aren't really appropriate for really dry skin anyway. I wear the oil with Hermes Un Jardin en Mediterranee, which also has a coconut top note.

Sorry but I don't get the raves on this. I find it too common and ordinary, there are plenty of similar scents already in the market. All I get are the top notes of tiare and gardenia along with some coconut. Someone mentioned previously that it seems like a suntan lotion, I can't but totally agree. It could have been from Yves Rocher or The Body Shop, I would not have seen the difference really.
