I was never a big fan of deodorant sticks until I found this product. I used to use gel deodorant exclusively, but since I switched over to Dove, I have not regretted my decision. Gel deodorants dried out my underarms and made them extremely itchy (especially in the winter). After I switched to Dove, I never had this problem. The deodorant has a moisturizer in it that soothes my underarms and kept me from smelling when I would sweat. Although this has an antiperspirant, I have found that my underarms do get a little wet, but not unreasonably so. Even when I do sweat, it does not have that acrid smell, so the deodorizing function certainly works. As for the many complaints about this deodorant staining clothing, as with any deodorant stick, it is best to massage the deodorant into the skin. I take meticulous care of my clothes and I have yet to stain my clothing by wearing this deodorant (by the way, warm water and some Fels Naptha will take out most deodorant stains). The scent is my favorite of all the deodorants I have tried- it smells clean and fresh without smelling like powder or old lady. This is a great buy.

This deodorant isn't perfect, but it's the best one I've found so far. The cucumber smell is great and the antiperspirant works wonderfully. It also doesn't seem to irritate my sensitive skin. The only downside is that it is thick and white, which means it can get on clothes or look all cakey in your pits by the end of the day.

I don't sweat a lot or have bad body odor a lot. This is just really lovely smelling and is perfect for me.

I've been using this deodorant for many years now and of all the deodorants I've used, nothing beats this. First of all, I just want to point out that I do shave my underarms once every 2-3 days. My hair grows back fast and I do get a lot of bumps and burns here and there. The scents are great but I prefer not to have scent. Does not stain on clothes, no white marks and best of all, so easy to wash off when showering. This deodorant is a really good value. The scents smell really good and they're the kind of scents that you can smell over again without getting a headache.

This deodorant is both great and awful.
First the good: It smells nice and fresh. It is a great one for sensitive skin. If you shave and get razor burn or ingrown hairs this deodorant is great for you. It cools your skin and feels great. It is also great if you use a strong antiperspirant like Certain-Dri. That irritates my skin and by using this as a daily deodorant it soothes my skin and feels great.
Now onto the bad:
It is not transfer resistant. It always ends up on my clothes if I am not careful. They do not claim it is clear or transfer free, but of course it would be nice. That's really the only downside. I would definitely check this deodorant out. =)

I love this! I am not a huge sweater/bo person somedays I don't even wear deodorant but, I do like to be protected incase and carry this in my purse. I love the smell and it does a great job when I get a little sweaty or am going to be doing activities.

I love this product so much. It feels great and I love the smell when it's in the stick, but I hate the smell when it's being used. It didn't smell like cucumber or anything. It just smelled horrible. It also left white streaks on my clothes. I would buy this again though because it feels great in the summer.

I have re-bought this product several times. I've tried other deodorants, but I like this one best!

Pros:
Smells nice, not overwhelming
Lasts almost all day (I have to re-apply if I work out though)
Definitely reduces wetness
Inexpensive

Cons:
Leaves white residue on shirts

Ive tried all the fragrances, but I always go back for the cucumber one. Smells refreshing and def keeps me smelling good. One thing I love about this deodorant is that you don't have to apply a lot for it to work. It does leave a white mark sometimes, but Thats only if you apply too much. Def will repurchase! :)

I love the scent of this and it keeps me dry, but something in it doesn't mix well with my chemistry and it makes me stink! I don't sweat much but it still makes me have b.o. which I've never had a problem with before.

It does well at keeping myself from smelling but it doesn't stop the perspiration. I still get a little damped here and there but never fully dry. I'm not fond of the cucumber melon scent either.

Hate this. Does not control odor and definitely doesn't keep my underarm from sweating! Always leave a white residual on my shirts, the scent of this is too strong to put underarm. It's just gross especially when the scent of the deodorant mixed with the odor from sweating! It's just embarrassing & gross. GROSS.

I'm hypoglycemic so I have a terrible sweating problem. I've tried prescription deodorants even and those did nothing but give me a rash. This is the only deodorant that keeps my sweating under control. It lasts all day, though if I'm really moving around I tend to reapply it. My skin is pretty sensitive as well and this still does the job.

Soft, effective, and ever quite translucent, this deodorant was a step far up from the previous deodorants I've been using(Nivea, Fa etc.). Its is moisturizing and non-irritating and stays on ALL DAY. The formula is quite creamy for a solid, but still not wet and liquidy, leaving the pits feeling dry and fresh. The fragrance is mild and sweet, but I'm not a fan of having sweet fragrances up in the sweaty areas. Also, I find the smell a bit generic- it smells like a supermarket! Overall, I will def. keep looking into the Dove line of solid deodorants, but this time, I'll be going for a more tropical, clean type of scent.
EDIT:Leaves a h*ll of a residue! There are much better deodorants out there.

The only deodorant that I can wear BEFORE I dress :) Dove beats Secret hands down with preventing white marks on clothes! Also, Dove keeps underarms smooth & refreshed all day. I love the cucumber & green tea scent as well.

This product leaves a fresh, crisp scent and goes on perfectly clear. Unfortunately, its presence under the arms does not go unnoticed; it feels heavy, rather than light. In addition, it does not fully absorb moisture. I have also noticed that if the under arm region is not fully shaved, the product will not effectively prevent perspiration. The packaging is average. As you come close to the end of the bar, it begins to fall out if the applicator is not held upright. Overall, decent, but not exceptional.

I love Dove deodorant! I had use Secret for years, but started using Dove when a friend told me how great it was. And she was right. I have never felt so fresh, and even after shaving my skin is smooth, not razor burn or bumps! I love this product, and would tell all woman to buy it!

This product smells really clean and lovely- it is a very summery/springy scent. I have purchased this numerous times, I forget that I already have like three of them, and am so enticed by the lovely smell. Recently, I got one that was paired with a little tube of body fragrance in the same scent- I use this occasionally in the day if I want to feel refreshed. The scent is "cucumber and green tea", smells very similar to the bath and body works, cucumber and melon scent, which I also think smells very clean and nice. The only downsides of this product are: the consistency, it is a bit soft so be careful when recapping it, and the dreaded white stains on clothes. I don't know if this product claims not to stain clothes white, but if so, that is absolutely untrue. If you do get it on your clothes, you can use a sponge or small washcloth with water to gently take it off.
