This is a pretty nice conditioner. It conditions well without being too heavy for my fine hair (though it's probably not moisturizing enough for very dry or coarse hair). It has a pleasant vanilla fragrance that makes it a joy to use. However, it is rather pricey, and I don't love it more than my favorite Giovanni 50:50 Conditioner, which is a lot cheaper.

I was a bit disapointed in this product. I think it just isn't right for my hair. I have extremely over processed, thin blonde hair which frizzes up if it doesnt get enough moisture. I bought Moist REpair because I thought it would help rebuild my disastrous hair. It wasnt the worst product in the world and I can definately say my hair looks ok but considering the price it isn't the best either :- My hair still frizzed up and I found myself having to follow each condition with a dose of Freddirck Fekkai Protein mask which I dont like using all the time. For someone whose hair is only slightly damaged this might work better. I prefer L'oreal Professional's Repair range.

I bought this several months ago as an alternative to the conditioner I buy at the hair salon. I wanted a back-up in case the salon stopped making their conditioner. I'm definitely brand loyal, but don't like to be backed into a corner to use only one product, especially if that product's formula changes or it's not available anymore.
Upon first using this conditioner, I noticed that the consistency was very much like the conditioner I purchase at the salon. It's a medium-weight, creamy conditioner, and it smells really nice. However, it fell short of doing the job properly, and my hair didn't seem well moisturized or in control when I blew it dry. I also needed to use a ton of product. It turned out a tad frizzy and was missing the smoothness I need to keep it calm. I used it a few more times just to make sure, and unfortunately, the results stayed the same. Unable to figure out what to do with it, it sat in my shower for those off days, usually on weekends, when I don't worry so much about my hair.
Then, after reading on MUA about jojoba oil, I decided to try an experiment. I had about 1/2 of this conditioner left and I added about a teaspoonful of jojoba oil to it. After shaking well to blend, I used it and the results were quite amazing. I didn't need to use nearly as much product. My hair felt soft and completely conditioned and had calmed down considerably without feeling weighed down. Apparently, the addition of a little jojoba oil was enough to make this an awesome product. Since then, I've been using this conditioner in place of the salon conditioner, and I'm almost out. I will probably add a little jojoba oil to the salon conditioner after I run out of this one, and I may repurchase this one again in the future.
The packaging is alright. The opening at the top seems a bit small, but it's not a deal-breaker.

I like it a lot. I was using tigi moisture maniac and IMO this is far better. No need for leave-ins as often when using this. The opening to the bottle gets easily clogged and it's annoying, but the other than that, I will contiue to use until I find something better.

the worst conditioner I have ever tried, beats even the cheapest drugstore brand in that regard.
Not only did it not condition the hair, it actually made my hair friezzier and drier! the ends of my hair looked awful, and I thought it was the weather, diet etc., until I finally tossed this thing out. Went back to Joico asap.

Okay, so i brought this with the matching shampoo and thought that this product was fantastic. Though the shampoo made my hair a little tangled, this conditioner sorted it out. I got the BEST blow dry from using this product, and the smell, oh the smell. I want that smell when i g to heaven. It detangled, gave a little bounce, a little shine and moisture for my eternally dry hair. probably won't repurchase for a while because it is like |--| < that far away from HG, and there are so many things a haven't tried. Still, the best i've had so far. Give it a go in the travel size and see what you think.

I love this conditioner and matching shampoo. My hair comes out very soft and healthy looking. I have fine, short hair that I wear in a bob style. Some moisturizing shampoos and conditioners leave my hair soppy and flat looking. Not this pair. I get a nice, not-too-full head of hair that is bouncy and not that frizzy. (I use the Nexxus Heat Protexx for any possible frizz.) The scent is amazing.....I look forward to taking showers just to wash my hair and be surrounded by the scent! I just wish it were a little less in price....

I've used this product and its matching shampoo off and on for a few years.
This conditioner leaves my hair soft and smooth. While it is moisturizing, I don't use it often in the winter when I need a lot of moisture. It has no silicones in it. It doesn't leave my hair feeling coated or weighed down. My hair is very easy to comb through.
The packaging says this is "rainforest" scented, but all I smell is a light, fresh, clean scent that doesn't linger.
As with the shampoo, I took off one "lippie" for the packaging. No matter how securely you close the little flip top lid, the product still clogs the opening and hardens, making it difficult to get out the next time you use it.
My hair is 1c-2a/F/ii - 35" long, fine, thin, color-treated with dry ends.

I have been eye-ing this reformulated conditioner for a really long time. After looking at these reviews, I thought I'd give it a try. No silicones, and only wheat lipids (fatty acids), not the protein - which is great since those things really dry out my hair. In looking at the ingredients, I was concerned that it would be too heavy. My hair needs a medium weight conditioner and most out there are too light or too heavy, there's not a lot of choices in the mid-range. It is creamy and the smell is soft, which I don't care for heavily fragranced products since they give me a headache or the sniffles - and thankfully, KMS reformulated their scents, because they used to be horrid . I also tried the Color Vitality and the Silk Sheen Conditioners, which all have similar formulas. I didn't really like any of them. I think the Color Vitality is the mort moisturizing of all them, but still kind of crunchy. This made my hair very stiff and this was quite drying.

I just tried the KMS Moistrepair Shampoo and Conditioner and I really like it! My hair is long, wavy, difficult to detangle, and prone to frizzy ends. This stuff really moisturized well, but didn't weigh my hair down at all, which is difficult to find in a moisturizing product. It was nice and bouncy after I blow dried it straight and I got compliments today! I also really liked the leave-in conditioner (I got a free sample of it with my conditioner). UPDATE: I can use this from time to time, but over the long haul, it just doesn't moisturize enough. I will stick with my Pureology Hydrate and Terax Crema!

I have been using the silkysheen stying line for a while and recently decided to give this a try. I have long fine wavy hair, and I always try to find something that will add a little 'weight' to it to prevent frizz and fly- aways. This was really nice. It left my hair soft, shiny and healthy looking. The scent is very soft and subtle, too. It could be a tad more moisturizing, though.

My hair type: Long (mid back)/ Thick/ Slightly dry/ Prone to frizz in the mid lengths of my hair/ Sensitive dry scalp. I have been using KMS Moistrepair Shampoo, Conditioner and Leave In for the last four weeks and have noticed a dramatic difference in my hair !!! This is a nice creamy conditionerthat leaves my hair feeling moisturised (but not coated), detangles and doesnt irritate my sensitive scalp (even though it does contain SLS). I do still need to use a leave in or smoothing cream as my hair is so thick but this is still a nice rich conditioner that doesnt leave hair feeling sillicone-y (i cant see any 'cones' in the ingredient list). It is typically priced for a 'salon range' so it isnt cheap but it isnt too bad as you can usually get great packs for decent prices. Would definitely repurchase. One failing i would mention is that although it is described as being suitable for dry and damaged hair, if you had serious dryness or damage i dont think this conditioner (or line) would provide enough moisture. For my slightly dry (not damaged) hair, this is lovely. Smells good too.

Love this conditioner, it is very creamy and rich and has a lovely vanilla scent. It leaves my dry, thick, curly hair supersoft, shiny and frizz-free. The curls are not weighed down by this, just supple and defined. UPDATE: After some more use I came to the conclusion that this conditioner is slightly detrimental to my curls. The day after washing my hair & using this conditioner the curls are all gone and replaced by gentle waves. The hair is moisturized and shiny, but the look just isn't what I want it to be. I get better results from curling conditioners (e.g. from Bumble & Bumble or KMS).

This is part of the new KMS line-up of products. I much prefer this new range to the old range. This is a fairly basic conditioner that smells of vanilla. It's nothing to rave about but it does a sufficient job so I probably would repurchase.
