OMG. I'm so excited about this. If you read any of my product reviews, I lament (over and over) about my stick straight, short, hard to curl and impossible to keep curled lashes. Even with the best metal curlers (Shu, Japonesque, Shiseido) it took a lot of work (heating the curler with a hair dryer, always using WP mascara) to get reasonable results. I found this easy to use and the curl is wonderful. Sweeping - not just a sharp bend (my lashes are too short to do that "walk up the lashes" curling technique - I just clamp on and curl). I also like that you curl AFTER the mascara (still WP for me) is on since no matter what, I always needed a refresher curl and you know how the mascara sticks to the metal curlers and tries to yank out the lashes. I got this on Amazon for a decent price. For the results, I would have paid more. The curl stays for hours but not for an entire day so I think I'll get another one to keep in my purse.

I am obsessed with lashes. I curl them with Japonesque, then apply Jordana mascara and then use this curler and POP! It heats up quick, it doesn' t burn and holds the curl. If I rush my technique, I can always smooth out my clumps with this too!

I bought mine on Fry's site for only $15 and it works great so far! Panasonic is a trusted brand so I know I'm not getting ripped off for something that'll stop working after few tries. I love that it heats up fairly quickly and it works on my stick-straight Asian lashes with or without mascara. I like that it doesn't feel too hot either. Totally safe and effective! I'm happy with my purchase. I'll update if it ever gives me issues w/performance but I don't suspect that'll happen anytime soon.

I'm a heated lash curler convert. I love this curler! it is much gentler on my lashes than the crimping ones. I no longer have lash fallout. However, it's important to use with a compatible mascara. some mascaras will melt. I found it most effective to use after applying mascara. allow mascara to dry, then begin curling. the technique is similar to curling hair-- not combing thru, but holding lashes up a few secs, curving lashes into desired shape. its best to watch youtube videos. once you get the hang of it, it's fast, and you'll have more control of your lash curl than traditional curlers.
currently using clinique high impact curling mascara and it works great. holds curl and doesnt melt or smudge. i've heard via youtube that japanese mascaras work with heated curlers too, but haven't tested.

i love this because it uses an aa battery which i always have around, as opposed to others that use aaa. you need to replace batteries every 2-3 weeks.

At first I didn't like this heated lash curler very much. It didn't seem to curl my lashes as high as my standard lash curler did, with or without mascara. It took too long to curl my lashes and it ate up too much battery. BUT I decided to give this curler another try before I gave up on it. This lash curler really isn't too bad once you get the hang of using it. After applying my mascara and curling with this, my lashes are beautifully and naturally curled, without that crimp you get from a standard lash curler. Hard to explain, but the lash curler works kinda like when you curl your hair with a flat iron.. you need to roll/pivot/rotate/etc. the lash curler as you're moving it through your lashes. Doing this makes my lashes really curled.. better than it would ever look with a standard lash curler! And the good thing about this curler is that you can also get those small lashes on the corners of your eye that a standard lash curler might miss. Also, you can use it on your bottom lashes and even on falsies! It also allows me to control where I want stubborn lashes to point.. just "roll" the curler in the direction you want your lashes to go and voila! My lashes stay curled all day too. Another plus to this lash curler is that it combs out any clumps of mascara (I use Majolica Majorca Lash Expander). I do not like how this eats up a lot of battery, but other than that I'm happy with this lash curler. I don't think I'd be going back to my standard one anytime soon.

This heated lash curler WORKS. I bought mine from Amazon for about $12 and is white and blue in color. I have straight asian lashes and needed waterproof mascara to hold the curls. This curler solved the issue. I don't like WP mascaras because they take too much work to remove even with a proper eye makeup remover. I can now use regular mascara! I first curl with shu umera curler, then non-WP mascara, and use this heated curler for a few secs after the mascara is dry. The heat feels very gentle. I don't think this damages the lashes at all. One thing to note though. Some mascaras do NOT work with heated lash curlers. The heat melts the mascara right off. I find that most mascaras work though. The one i use now is CG lash blast and this curlers work well with CG LB. It doesn't work with MAC Zoom Lash. Do NOT comb this curler through your lashes. Just press it up.

I don't get the hype with this. You need to have mascara on for it to hold the curl, basically, and the curler makes the mascara clumpy and smudgy. I really much prefer the Ardell heated curler, which works like a regular curler but just with a heating element. If only the Ardell heated as quickly and hot as this one, THAT would be perfect. As it is, this is just okay to me. I honestly prefer a regular non-heated eyelash curler in terms of what actually looks the best.

LOVE this product...warning...it gets HOT. It does go through batteries, but I'd never be caught without it. Great for mid-day touchups too!

Stick to your normal eyelash curlers. First off I tried using it before applying mascara and it did little if anything at all, maybe lifting them just an teeny bit. Then I tried using it after applying mascara. I made sure that my mascara was completely dry before trying it. That curled it a fair bit more than using it on bare lashes... However it melted my mascara and made my lashes look really really clumpy and because it had melted together, the curl was killed pretty quickly and they soon got weighed down. Also I found that the melted really mascara seemed to really stick to my lashes and I found it really hard to remove my eye makeup and even pulled out some lashes :(.

I stuck to this for a while, trying it in different ways in an attempt to get it to work well. This thing seriously eats batteries though. Within a week and a half, I could tell it was losing battery power because it took longer to heat up and didn't get as hot. I was worried I had damaged it somehow but then I changed the batteries and it heated up real hot again soon enough after that. So it isn't very efficient unless you are willing to buy batteries every fortnight.

Wow! I love it. I mostly gave up curling my lashes for a while--crimp-style curlers always lift off my eyeliner and pull out my lashes, and my Revlon heated curler didn't work well enough to bother with. So glad I read the reviews for this one! It uses a AA battery (as opposed to Revlon's AAA, which has to make a difference in how much heat it can produce), heats up in a minute or so, and *actually works*! Be sure to read the directions, and don't try to comb your lashes with it...just hold it against them for 5 seconds or so, move up and repeat. Magic!

I would definitely repurchase if necessary. I paid about $12 shipped from eBay.

Thank you MUA!!! I love this product!!! I bought it on ebay for $11.75- free shipping- and decided against getting the mini Sephora brand. I am in love!!! I once had stubby, barely there eyelashes, but thanks to Careprost (generic version of Latisse at only $10 a bottle vs $120) and this wonderful eyelash curler, my lashes "POP". Mine came with a sparkling blue tip cover and this is way more space saving then a regular eyelash curler. It fits perfectly into the side pocket of my handbag.
I followed the instructions given by other reviews and I do NOT comb by lashes with this, I merely place this againist my lashes at the base for about 10 seconds and move it up to the middle and then finally the tips. I have to say I have gotten more curl out of this then I did with my Shu Umera curler. The curl lasts the whole day!! I love this product... will not do without it!!! :)

This is a must have for any makeup addict out there.... it's HG in my opionion, but otherwise for others it would be great to have.

bought this at amazon ,only like 13.99. its a nice product- works well. it takes one aa battery. it has a a heat indicator that is purple but turns hot pink when it's ready to use. it comes with a plastic cap so you don't have to worry about cool down time.

the biggest tip to using this is ----you do not comb your lashes with the wand, you merely place the wand against the lashes for a few seconds , starting from the base up to the tips.

i personally still use my shu uemura eyelash curler first, then i use shiseido mascara base, then i use the heated curler, then i place on my mascara. for my asian eyelashes that's what works best.

this is my first heated eyelash curler, now i'm curious to try other brands- i heard there are others that have higher heat settings.

I started using heated eyelash curler when I was in high school because my stubby asian eyelash (well, eastern asian eyelash to be presice. Our lovely neighbours in the south have amazing eyelashes!) just don't do well with ordinary eyelash curler. They would become bent instend of curled if you know what i mean. lol
I tried different brands of heated eyelash curler, cheap ones, slightly more expensive ones. I went through literally dozen of them, and settled on this Panasonic one. It's just hot enough to curl the eyelashes efficiently, but not too hot that it would burnt your skin. It comes with a little comb-like thingy that could slip onto the heated part to separate the lashes during heating. And the most important part, it's very very durable, I bought this 4 years ago, used it almost every day, and it's still going strong!
One little thing though, this EATS batteries! You should pull out the battery after use or you'll find yourself replacing the batteries way too often.

I love mine, it gave me better results than any clamp eyelash curlers. It heats up fast, I curl my lashes first then put mascara on. You can also use it with mascara on first, I have not tried that though. Some days I just put on some foundation, a little blush & lip gloss, use the curler and I'm all set. Also I have not lost any eyelashes after/during usage like I did with the traditional clamp curlers.

Good quality for this price

I just got this product.
I opened it and started a try. I did it without mascara on. Less than two minutes, it's ready, and I carefully combed my lash. It did make my lash curl, not dramatic, but worked anyway.
Five minutes after, the curl stayed. I still didn't use the mascara.

unfortunately, this product was unable to curl my lashes at all. I have straight asian lashes and i tried it before using mascara and after using mascara but it did not curl my eyelashes at all. i think it was not hot enough for me. I bought mine on ebay so maybe i got a broken one? I'm unsure but I'm not willing to buy another one to see if It was just a fluke item.

I got this wonderful product at my local drugstore. It came free with the Panasonic epilator. I have very straight, Asian eyelashes, so I think this product does a fairly good job at curling them. It's a heated pad eyelash curler. It's very easy to use and it takes less than a minute to curl my eyelashes. It doesn't take long to heat up either; around 10-15 seconds. One thing that I did not like about this eyelash curler was that it didn't curl my natural eyelashes very well. Even after doing the proper procedure, my eye lashes still looked the same..maybe a tad bit curled but nothing dramatic or noticeable. However, when I put on mascara, my eyelashes got curled perfectly! It opened up my eyes very nicely. It lasts all day too, so I don't have to worry about having to keep curling them throughout the day. It's generally a wonderful product.

I really wanted to love this eyelash curler, but unfortunately I do not. I have stick straight eyelashes and in order to get curled beautiful lashes I need to put a lot of time and effort in with this thing. Don't get me wrong, if you have a lot of time to work on just your lashes, with practice it can do a very nice job at making your lashes curled and long-looking. But, even though I put mascara on first- as it states I should- it takes several minutes to curl my eyelashes. I am the mother of three young children and I honestly just don't have that kind of time to put into JUST my eyelashes. Back to my traditional eyelash curler I guess.

Oh my goodness I cannot believe I just found this product. I have tried different heated eyelash curler, have blow dried my regular curlers, etc, this is the first time I actually have curled eyelashes that last.
It's easy, fast, definitely recommend.
The look is very attractive and sleek, doesn't look like it can fall apart any second like some other products out there. This actually look well made and high end.
Love love love this curler.
