So far this is the one that keeps my lips moisturized the longest with spf. Was not impressed with burt's bees.

It's a pretty good lip balm. I like the plain smell. I hate most scented lip balms. It kinds leaves my lips with a sticky residue but other than that I like it.

I have used original chapstick for years, and will continue to do so until the day I die. I tend to hate balms with a scent or flavor, so this is perfect for me. It also gives great moisture. I keep one in my purse and one in my bathroom, so I will always be accessible to one.

Since I always go for the natural look, this chapstick is a must for me. I don't really like wearing lip gloss or lipstick so I use this instead. It gets the job done. Not only does it fix my chapped lips, but it also plumps my lips up.

This product makes my lips feel soft and it's pretty moisturizing. I love the scent and how it doesn't feel too heavy on my lips. It smells like vanilla, which I love :)

But I will not repurchase this because it irritates my lips. It makes them sting (not in the good, plumping way) but makes the skin around my lips extremely irritated. I think it's the SPF. I like to put a lot of Chapstick on, and when I do that with this it's irritating. It's a shame, it seems like I good product. I'll save this for the summer when I'm out in the sun, but it's certainly not the product to layer to try and repair chapped lips for me.

Normally I use Burt's Bees, but I was out and I found this at the cash register, so I bought it. At first I wasn't happy with how thick it went on, but now I love it. It lasts so much longer than Burt's Bees. I'll probably buy this again when I run out. So happy I found this product.

Nothing can beat this stuff, especially at the price point. When I try to venture forth and buy fancier lip balms to change it up, I just end up coming back to Chapstick. Love it!

Pros: I love the smell and the waxy feel of this balm. It also doesn't get melty in the heat and wears with other lip colors well. Currently, I find myself pairing it with Clinique Almost Lipsticks or over Revlon Just Bitten Kissable Balm Stains. Also, it has SPF!

Cons: None.

I have this Chapstick from a package of several different types. This one is my favorite because it's spf 15 and has a nice scent. It's also fairly moisturizing, slightly better than your average lip balm. Chapstick in general is a pretty affordable, average lip balm. The scent is light and vaguely like vanilla, much better than the weird spiciness of the Original I hate, or of the overpowering fake cherry and strawberry scents. Overall, not an exceptional lip balm, but it gets the job done and has spf 15 to boot.

I was at on a college visit and had allergies, so that made my lips really dry. Since I didn't have any on me I got it from the bookstore. And it takes so much of it for it to even do anything! But once it's on, it feels nice for a while. Definitely not worth the hype.

This chapstick is pretty good! I like how it has SPF 15, because your lips have to be protected from the sun, too. It feels a little heavy if you put on too much. The packaging is nice, you can just slip it into your pocket. It's very moisturizing, and it smells like vanilla. Yum! :)

This probably seems like a review out of the norm but I love this product. But first, you should take in mind that I get really dry, chapped lips...more than the average person. With that being said, this product (as indicated by many) may feel heavy on some lips.

This is the only chapstick that I can apply that keep my lips moisturized. And the best thing about it is, this product is usually on sale with the rest of the chapstick flavors, so you can stock up if you like.

The only negative I can think of it that when the effects ware off, then the lips can get pretty dry, but then again that happens to me with nearly all lip balms.

I have this one but in the squeeze tube. Overall I think for the price and the consistency and the results you are better off buying the Vaseline one for 96cents at Walmart and target.

I was using this because I had lost my other lip balms I usually use. This is not very good at keeping my lips protected and moisturized at all. Where I live, I go constantly from cold, wet, and windy weather to very hot and dry rooms. This chapstick disappeared so quickly to the point where my lips became terribly chapped and were painfully cracking; I would find myself applying it so much that there was no point to wearing any sort of lipstick or lipgloss over it, because I would have to wipe them off and start again.

It wasn't a bad product... it just didn't do anything for me. I didn't like how I had to put so much on just so I could rub my lips together and get the same feeling I get with carmex. It didn't dry really THAT fast, but it didn't stay on as long as I would want it to. I don't think I would buy it again, but I would try other chapstick colors.

HG! I've been buying this for years, can't really use anything else. Love, love. Wish it could stay on longer, but man I love the feeling on me.

This does what it says - it moisturises dry lips. I love the fact it is unscented - I hate all these synthetic, sickly sweet chemical smelling balms on the market!

Problem is there is something in this product (& all chapstick products) that makes my lips tingle & burn. Maybe it's just me but I hate the sensation of burn-y lips. So I won't buy again. The price is great though, & it works so go for it i say. I've bought waaay too many over priced balms that don't work, & all you end up with is waxy, dry lips. This product isn't one of them.

since my lips were chapped and dry , after using this my lips are back to normal ! they were smooth and not dry anymore ~
the feeling of this lipbalm, is very moisturizing, once you apply it, it feels like its working very fast . (:
it's not the smoothest lipbalm i've tried , but it applies on smoothly easily.
this is probably the first thing i grab out of my bag to start the day.

i would recommend this if your lips are dry or not as smooth (:
and i would buy this again ~

Let me just start off by saying that I hate lip products. Lip stick, stains and glosses. I can't stand the feeling, the taste, the smell. Lip products are just not for me. This lip balm is the best thing I've ever used. It's moisturizing, has no scent, and lasts a very long time. I've strayed to other products over the years, and I've always come back to this balm. I have several tubes in my room, my purse, my car and some stored away as back ups. I can't think of a single negative thing to say about this product.

I've been wondering if this product is a winter or summer product from Chapstick. It has SPF 15, more than the classics, but is more moisturizing than the classics, thus making it a winter one. I concluded it was perfect for all times of the year. It glides on quite smoothly, and it's fairly thick. When I first put it on, it slightly burned my lips. I can only imagine it burning off my dead skin cells. It wasn't an unpleasant burning, more of a dull one, and it was present only the first or second time I used this. It's colorless, perfect for men and women. Actually, my brother will only use this and the regular Chapstick! The product itself is a lightly tinted yellow. If you are looking for a product with no strong flavor or a flavor that woln't cross into your "sickening over time" category, this is for you. Whenever I just don't feel for a lip balm with a nauseatingly vibrant flavor I stick to this one. The smell has a very subtle vanilla scent. It's not really a girly vanilla though, more like musky but light, and you can only smell it if you stick it right next to your nose. It is more moisturizing than any other Chapstick brand I have tried, and I have tried many. It does contain Oxybenzone, one that has been assumed to cause cancer, and more Oxybenzone than any other lip balm out there I've seen, but I wouldn't worry. Oxybenzone in lip balm is of very smell doses. Harmless, and when they tested it on rats, they injected them with the equivalent of injecting us with several pounds of Oxybenzone for there to even be a concern. Moving on, it does more protecting and sealing than healing, but it does heal and make your lips healthier over time. You can find this for $1 basically anywhere, and it is surprising how cheap it is. I remember using this when I was a child once when my classic Chapstick wasn't cutting it. I would recommend this product to anyone who wants better lips and would repurchase, definitely. Actually, I always have a backup and unopened tube in case I run out the one I'm using! Love it to death.
Edit 1/9/2012:
Petroleum jelly, how I dislike you. Chemicals, I loathe you. Bah. Okay summer lip balm and a great SPF one to bring on the beach when you don't want to bring something expensive lip sunscreen, but it ends there. Doesn't actually just sink in and moisturize, but it does protect. And it feels like car wax on my lips. Ew.
