This is my first NYX purchase. I love this gloss! I just dot a little on my lips and the gloss spreads really well. It's not drying and the color is great. It also has a nice cherry scent. I can't wait to try their other colors. It feels moisturizing too.

The product lasts so long. Also, the packaging is very cute, with the bow on top. Plush red is the prettiest shade of the mega shine line from NYX.
Age: 30-35 Skin: Oily, Olive Hair: Black Eyes: Brown
This is a true fire-engine red gloss that is opaque and long-lasting. Love the fruity scent, and when it wears off, you still have a nice red stain on your lips. Plus it's cheap. The black part cracked and separated from the white cap on mine. I had to glue it back on with epoxy but hey, I only paid a couple of bucks for it.

"Rock out to this, Danielle, for we are the great and powerful Nyx, and we've got your Bloodwork dupe right here." As a matter of fact, Plush Red is arguably superior to the discontinued Nars lipgloss I'd been hurting to replace. Nothing but pleasant surprises here, right down to the cherry-lollipop scent. ItĎs neither slimy nor sticky, itís just pigmented enough not to wuss out once itís spread over your lips, and it tends to hold its shine through more everyday activities than your average gloss product. I thought I'd never fill the Bloodwork void with anything that didnít fall short in some way or another....so props to Nyx for proving me wrong. Approved and recommended.

I love this lip gloss. It provides a beautiful cherry red to my lips and is very moisturizing. Great color for those who want to try out red lips but don't want to go the lipstick route. If you wipe it off you still have color left so it's longlasting.
My boyfriend hates it though because if he kisses me red gets all over him haha.

This is an incredibly pigmented lip gloss! The red is bright and creamy, with a slightly magenta undertone. It has no shimmer in it, but leaves an incredible shine. The applicator tip is slightly angled and pointed to allow for more precision and it looks opaque on the lip rather than sheer, and is just sticky enough allow for long wear. It will come off when you eat or drink, and you have to be careful not to get it outside of your lip, because it will leave a slight red stain behind on your skin. It smells like candy.

WOW. i am very pleased with this item. at first i thought it would just glide on fairly sheer on my lips, but NO. very pigmented and lovely. looks amazing by itself or paired with a nice red lippie. its also one of the first times that i have found a red that doesnt make my lips look garish and clown looking. the product has a sweet apple-y smell in my opinion. and i love the cute engraved bow on the top of the lipgloss cap.

I was hoping for more of a warmer red but this is still a super bright, opaque and pretty pinky red. Lasts a long time and works great to put over red lipstick to up the effect. I'm so impressed with NYX's lipglosses!
Age: 19-24 Skin: Combination, Fair Hair: Brunette, Straight, Medium Eyes: Green
This color isn't kidding. For a gloss its super pigmented and lasts forever. When it does finally wear off, your lips are left a lovely rosy color. AND it smells like cherries. Love, especially if you are just getting into wearing red lips.

Okay so I wanted to try a more bold and sexy color for my lips and figured red is it so I did my research on NYX lipglosses and this one and seen great reviews about it so I rushed out to my local hair store and bought it for about $2-$3 bucks and as soon as I got home I put it on and I must say that this lipgloss is the best and looked soo sexy on me and goes with my caramel skine tone, it didnt stain my teeth, it lasted a few hours, it faded a tiny tiny bit not noticebly though. It seems more like a lipstick instead of a lipgloss. It isnt sticky at all, its shiny, it goes a long way, you get MORE than what you pay for, and the red is sooo sexy and I love it. I will be repurchasing this color along with other NYX Megashine Lipglosses. I am a fan for life :D.

I've only worn it once, but I had to take it off when I did! It's a very pretty red, but it kept getting all over my teeth! It looked like someone punched me in the mouth. I plan on trying it again one day to see if it does the same thing and I will update then. But as of now, I will not buy again.

This lipgloss is VERY pigmented. The thing I love about this gloss is that it also acts as a lip stain. The staying power is extraordinary, and a little goes a long way! So don't invest in those expensive lipsticks, this is all you need!
Age: 25-29 Skin: Combination, Fair-Medium, Warm Hair: Brown, Straight, Medium Eyes: Hazel
I wouldn't buy this again simply because this is a really blue-based red that kinda clashes with my yellowy skin tone. It's great as far as staying power and opacity though, I just with that NYX made some bright red gloss with a warmer undertone (haven't come across any yet).

Love this gloss! A pigmented bluish-red, been looking for this color eversince. This is what i expected of MAC venetian but sadly it only leaves a slight red tint.. NYX's glosses are more pigmented than MAC's lipglasses and staying power is almost the same for a cheaper price. Wanna buy more!

HG red gloss/stain! I have a really hard time finding a pigmented red lip color that works on my skin. This is a bright cherry red color that is pigmented like a lipstick yet also looks quite glossy. I love the applicator, so much better than the brush which always leaked. This does not leak at all. This gloss stays on a long time and fades so well to a beautiful stain. Only 3.99 and theres always some sort of sale, I love this gloss and this line, beats out more expensive brands.

Lovely deep red. I don't reach for it very much, but I like it.
Age: 25-29 Skin: Combination, Fair-Medium, Neutral Hair: Brown, Wavy, Medium Eyes: Green
Plush red is a cherry red. True red's are blue undertoned. Tomato red's are yellow undertoned. This is cherry red.... It can go on sheer or build to a patent glossy finish. Not a liquid lipstick at all.... those are much sheerer and drier than Mega glosses. It can become a stain if you dab just a bit and spread it out. When you use a gloss this dark you MUST do the finger trick. Stick your finger in your mouth, make an o and pull your finger out. It takes off all the excess that will get on your teeth.
Age: 30-35 Skin: Very Oily, Tan, Cool Hair: Brown, Straight, Fine Eyes: Brown
This is one of my favorite red glosses. But I wouldn't really call it a gloss. It's more of a really shiny lipstick in gloss form and it's so pigmented. I start out by lining my lips in NYX's long lipliners (the one with the girl on the label) and I feather it to prevent from bleeding, then I apply NYX's Hestia round lipstick, and top it off with Plush Red. It's a gorgeous red that doesn't make me orange. I usually pair red lips with a gold eyeshadow and thinly lined eyes with a natural blush. I will definitely repurchase this color once this runs out.

This gloss has a doe foot applicator vs. the brush applicator the other NYX glosses have. This red is a TRUE VIBRANT RED, with blue undertones. I agree with the above review that it can, at times, read of raspberry or fuschia in certain light. This is heavily pigmented and is more like a liquid lipstick than a gloss. Wears nicely, has decent staying power, and when it has rubbed off, leaves a nice, soft stain on your lips. For those adventurous enough to try, I suggest this color!
Age: 19-24 Skin: Acne-prone, Fair-Medium, Neutral Hair: Black, Wavy, Fine Eyes: Brown
Whoa. This is very pigmented, and I have yet to build up the courage to use it as a full-out lip gloss; I've just been dabbing it on and spreading it out with my finger. The color is not a true red, as it has a slightly blue undertone, and can look almost raspberry in the right lighting. I don't really have any complaints about this lipgloss; the smell is inoffensive, the staying power is decent for a lip-anything on me, and it's about $5. It's just way too bright for my tastes, and I can't really use it as a gloss. If you like brighter berry colors, by all means, try this one. If not, steer clear!
