I can most definitely see how this bronzer can be way too much if you're not careful and take it easy on the application.
I'm not much of a shimmer girl AT ALL, but when applied with a very light hand and a decent soft brush, this gives a lovely subtle glow on its own.
That said, this is going to last me forever!

This shimmering bronzer is highly pigmented and when I say highly, I mean it! I'm still on the fence with this one (wish they had an undecided purchase again part!). Had it for several months. Some days it looks really nice and other days this comes off as the muddy/dirty look. I've been applying it the same way each time I use it but.......its inconsistent. You need to be sure the right amount is gets on your brush or else you'll be looking like an over baked hot mess. Nonetheless, I've been playing around with the brushes I use injunction with this product (of course I tossed out the flat brush it came with), but than again, some days it looks perfect and others don't. Not sure what to think of this product just yet. Guess I'll have to play around with it more. I'll try to update later.

I was looking for a good dupe to BB Brick compact (since I don't reach for it very much)...This seems to give me almost the same look, and for $3.49 @ Walgreen's, 1/10th of the BB price, I would for sure purchase again!

I love these I have a shimmering blush too and I love it as well. They are a very nice price, and this gives you a great bronze glow I love it. Though I have found that it is easy to go a bit overboard with this stuff. A little bit goes a long way. I love the packaging, but I look off a lippie because it breaks really easy if you drop it, but besides that fact, I am in love with the packaging. I love how it flips open and the bottom has a cute little mirror. Overall, it's a great product.

Got this with Tahiti at Walgreens for BOGO. This bronzer is really pretty on. It's more of a pinky bronze that I would recommend for a blush rather than an all-over bronze look. I have medium yellow-undertoned skin and this looks so natural and glow-y. I love the shimmer, it's definitely not glittery but just enough to make your face look really radiant. Comes in one of those annoying double flip compacts, and the brush isn't one I would use (maybe touch ups) but at least it is thinner than some others I've seen.

It is very shimmery, but not overly so. It's more of a subtle glow instead of an OMG GLITTER one :P You do have to apply this with a light hand, though, it's very pigmented. I made the mistake of swiping too heavily with my brush once and ended up looking very flushed!

Too much shimmer for me, and the colors are a little to bronzey. They tend to make my cheeks look dirty. I do use the white shade and love it - I use it to highlight my cheekbones, my browbone, and the inner corner of my eyes. Would not repurchase though.

If your looking for a inexpensive bronzer this product is great. It's not mat, and very shimmery which is great to highlight cheek bones. The powder is intensely pigmented, so a little bit goes a long way. Because of this, a larger blush brush would be more efficient than the tiny flattened brush provided. The compact does come with a large mirror, which is pretty nice for a product of this price range. The colors may also be used on their own, because of the striped pattern. The light beige one is great as a brow bone highlighter!

This blush consists of 5 shades. All are super light and shimmery.
But like a couple other have said it sometimes goes on sort of muddy. I think this is main in part to the little cheap brush Jane includes. If you get too much of the center darker bronze shade it does that.
But all in all this is a fabulous bronzer. Great for lighter/ fairer skin tones.
I will definantly be repurchessing it but tossing out the brush and using a kabuki brush instead.

This bronzer is a gorgeous color, but because it is so shimmery I only use it at night. However, I experimented and found out that if you add a dab of moisturizer over the bronzer then the some of the shimmer will come off. Will not repurchase because trying to tone down the shimmer is too much of a hassle for me.

I've been looking for these bronzers since they were introduced, and was so happy to finally find them locally. Mojave has been described perfectly below, so I won't bother repeating. It's a lovely, versatile product--a bronzer, highlighter, and blush. As it's very pigmented, it can even be used as an eye shadow. Due to the pigmentation, I have to be careful not to go overboard on application or I'll look like an oompaloompa, but it's a great product that was well worth the wait to find.
Edit: Well, no worries about over-applying, this product broke me out--and I so, so rarely break out from products. And all that searching I did!

I paid $7 dollars for this at rite aide and was excited to use it.I opened it and I really liked the fact that there was a brush compartment as well as a mirror with it. Once i put it on i noticed that the color doesnt really distribute on my face like i wanted it to, but seems to cling to only one side of my face. It didn't give a sheer glow as i expected, but a round area on my cheek that just looked bronzed, THE WORST IS THE SMELL. IT SMELLS LIKE HOSPITALS..LIKE A HOSPITAL WOULD SMELL.I thought it was only the bronzer itself, but my boyfriend said that my cheek smelled weird..I threw it away. I should have just invested another seven bucks and buy myself a bronzer from Sephora, which i probably could have tried on before hand.

After reading the reviews, I ran to Rite Aid to buy this. I must say, it is very pretty and makes me look "brighter". I do have to be very careful not to get carried away, if I use to much, I look clownish and "dirty". But with just the right amount I like it and would probably buy it again.

This is my first drugstore makeup purchase in a long time and boy am I glad I got it!! I can not resist anything striped or fusion looking. I walked by this 3 times in RiteAid and then finally snatched it up before I made my way to the counter. It's fabulous the quality is great too. I would pay a lot more than $5.99 for it. The others have described it really well, but I just wanted to toute it's praises. I actually was able to wear this as a bronzer and without foundation. (although I don't dust too much over my forehead b/c it's a bit shimmery). It's look great even on my light complexion. It is on the shimmery side so I would be hard-pressed to wear this to work, but on days off I reach for it time and time again. The more coppery/red/bronze shade I use as a wash of color on lids and it's fabulous and the white makes a great highlighter on brow bones. For the price I would definately check this out. I put it on a clean face over primer and the color hung in there all day. Without a doubt I will definately grab a back up. Packaging is cute too. I was shocked to find the mirrored compartment when unsealed it. Haven't touched the brush that came with it though. I find I get the best application with just my Smashbox blush brush.

This seems almost to be a bronzer and blush packed into one on me. It's a bronzed peachish-mauve, and the color is very buildable. It has some shimmer to it, but nothing over the top. Like other Jane bronzers and blushes, this does not last all day, but is pretty while it does. Sometimes I feel like this makes me look too "drity," though, so I wouldn't repurchase. I also need to apply with a light hand--NC25.

I liked this at first but im changing my rating I think this was breaking me out. I kept breaking out at my cheeks, i use only mineral blush/bronzer now and my pimples are at bay. i still give it a 3 rating as this is wonderful as an eyeshadow quad, the white strip is great for highlighting the brow bone and the peach to bronze shades are great to create a smoky eye with a deep brown shadow.

I like this product very well and agree with others' comments about its versatility, silkiness, and sheen. However, I want to point out just a small curiosity for me: the middle stripe, which looks to be a straight-up golden copper, applies very orange on my eyes (me: PPP). This may be of note to someone who is thinking of using the separate colors as eye shadows. The only other thing I will say about this product is that it smells a bit icky to me. Other than those things, I do like it.

I'll add to the raves - what a great d/s find! Blinkers345 accurately described the 5 stripes of color in this bronzer. When I tried this all over, it seemed too shimmery for me, but today I tried it only as a blush and it gave me a gorgeous peachy/coppery candlelight glow. It's amazing on tanned skin. The colors individually all work well on me, and they look great used as eyeshadow as well. The compact itself is cute and functional - a top compartment which holds the product, and a lower compartment with a brush (useless) and mirror. You can't beat the value you get from this little gem. Give it a try!

I saw this at Loblaws and was intrigued. I didn't buy mojave untill I checked out the reviews and I'm glad I waited! I decided to go with either Mojave or tahiti. I wanted a bronzer with some shimmer that wasn't garish so i went and bought Mojave,Tahiti looked more pinky. I'm soo glad I did! On my nc30-35,medium Filipino skin, this gives me a very pretty bronzey-peachy /coppery glow. The shimmer is obvious but not sooo much that I looked like I was going out clubbing. It gave me a nice sheen to highlight my cheekbones. Not only does it works as a bronzer, it works great as eyeshadow too. Sincxe it has 5 stripes of colour, you can apply it individually or all together. It closely resembles Smashbox fusion bronzer but half the cost :) ALso, It lasts long. I took a nap and ended up sleeping on my face, when I woke up, ther shimmer may have gone but the colour remained. I plan on getting more!

So beautiful! On me, it is a coral-copper bronze which makes it the perfect summery shimmery blush for me. I wouldn't use it for a bronzer; too shimmery for all over. On my cheeks though, wow its gorgeous. I'm so happy my rite aid finally got this. Also, love the convenient mirror :)
