this is the PERFECT unexpensive highlighter! Got this for less than $3 at Walmart and it is the best highlighter I have used. I use it for inside the corner of my eyes and right below my eyebrow...is an excellent brow highlighter - I will definately buy this item again and again.....A+

So I absolutely love this! I bought this for around $2 at Walgreens or CVS (don't remember which) and it looks like one of those fat eyeliners. However, this one is specifically for highlighting certain areas -- ie, inside of eyes, cupid bow, etc. Now as for the color/texture: it is a wonderful, rather pale gold with absolutely no glitter and the perfect amount of shimmer. It is DIVINE on the inner corner of eyes; because the design/texture is similar to an eyeliner, it works really well at going on specific areas and staying put there. In short, this highlighter is an absolute steal for $2 freaking dollars and I would highly recommend it to everyone!!

Love this product. It's an awesome highlighther and i also sometimes use it as a white eyeliner. For some reason i love that its a chubby pencil. Me and my sister both use it. A definite buy again.

I wasn't expecting much from this brand but I was pleasantly surprised with this pencil. It's not excellent quality but it is okay for something that was $2.99. I thought it would be dry, stiff, and not pigmented but it was creamy and pretty pigmented. The one thing I don't really like about this is the texture. It's a bit TOO creamy so the pencil tip bends around, and as the reviewer below wrote, it falls off in tiny clumps sometimes. The finish is powdery and the staying power isn't that bad. The pencil also has a bit of sparkle/shimmer in it, as its name suggests, so this isn't good for those who don't like shimmery or glittery stuff.

I wanted to buy a shimmery white pencil to line the inner corners of my eyes to make them "pop". I think this highlighter pencil does an "okay job", but it's not the best. When I tried to draw a thin line, it went on very thickly and sometimes a small clump would come off since the pencil was way too soft. I would describe this as a pearly shimmer color, because it wasn't the opaque white that I expected. I think this makes a great eyeshadow though. Once you draw a bit on your eyelids, you can use your finger to blend it all over and it will last pretty long that way.

I picked this up at CVS yesterday on a whim- just needed to buy a little something to brighten my day. Today I woke up horrified to the puffiest eyes I've ever seen!! I quickly tore open the package of the highlighter pencil, desperate for any way to take attention away from my swollen eyelids.
I was pleased to find that this gave me a gorgeous glow! I applied it just above my cheekbones and blended it- it blended really easily, making it a foolproof product. It was easy to add more for a stronger effect. I was surprised at how natural it looked- you could see the shimmer up close but from far away I just looked glowing! Luckily I made it to work not looking like a horror show, and not even one person asked me if I was tired (don't you just hate that question?).

Great for a portable quick touch up. I use this for my inner corners and cheek bones. Very smooth and blendable and with the right pressue, can be subtle or intense, however you like it. Really a great product for $3 and I will keep this around for a long time. A perfect cheap thrill.

I use this a lot on the inner corners and rims of my eyes. It make my eyes look a lot bigger! I also use it sometimes on my brow bones, and it blends fairly easily. It's great for the price of $3, definitely a good buy.

A cute little pencil that is perfect for on-the-go. I use it on the bridge of my nose, my browbone and upper cheeks. I also use it on the inner corner of my eyes to brighten it up. Definitely a versatile product! And the price is superb.

Great little highlighter pencil for the face. It's a chubby pencil, and is frosty white. It goes on heavy, but is easily blended. Great for highlighting the inner corners of the eyes, browbones, and cupids bow. I'd probably use a powder formula or a cream to do cheekbones though, as this is more for specific small areas. Very portable, and cheap. Totally worth the couple of bucks. Comparable to a higher end highlighter pencil, except for a fraction of the cost!

Cheap thrill (well, as thrilling as makeup can be)--This is a chubby, frosty, pure white pencil that works great at adding instant highlights. It looks a bit stark if you just draw it on, but I've found the texture to be fairly creamy and blendable. I draw a line on the bridge of my nose, the high points of my cheekbones and my browbones (under the eyebrow arch) and blend to get a gleamy, evening-out-worthy look (it's not exactly subtle). It dries to a more powdery finish, though and doesn't slide off immediately, which is impressive given that this thing is about 2-3 bucks. I've inspected my skin very closely under bright lights while I had this one and could not detect any visible shimmer, either. Overall: This is a goof-proof, non-messy and easily-transported highlighter that's not glittery and would be ideal for travel, nights out, etc..
