This is better than Raph, but still too synthetic. I wore it in summer to salsa parties and walks on the beach, and it served me well for those occasions. But sophistication is not part of its recipe, and therefore, being 31 and feeling more womanly than ever, I have evolved past this kind of frags and would probably purchase it for a teenage daughter if I had one.

This is a scent that I always come back to, and it's the only Ralph Lauren scent that I actually like. This prefume does have a lot of notes, and i'm not sure what it is I think i'm smelling, but it works for me. It's a warm and cozy scent that I wear the most in the winter time. For me, this perfume lasts all day on me but it isn't too overpowering as long as I don't spray too much on. Other's commented that they have been unable to find this in stores, but I've recently seen it in my local Ulta Store.

This product isn't the lightest and freshest fragrance I own, but is definitely one of the heaviest and warmest one. It has a sense of heaviness to it, which allows it to last long on myself, but does sometimes feel too heavy and draggy at times. But I do love wearing this whenever I don't feel too light or summery, and I love the packaging.

ha ha ha I totally get the pencil shavings thing! I really like it but yeah a hint of graphite. Overall this is really pretty and warm without being too spicy or overwhelming. Appropriate for any age.

The first time I smelled this, I was in love with it. But when I actually went out & bought it, not so much anymore. I smelled it on someone else the first time, so maybe that's why I liked it better? Idk. But it's very overpowering. This is probably one of the sweetest perfumes i've ever smelled. A little too sweet for my taste. To me, it smells like caramel. I love caramel, but I don't know if I like smelling like that all day, because it gives me a headache. For the original price, the bottle should be bigger. I got a good deal on it, so I can't really complain about that. I've had the same bottle for a while now, & it's still pretty full. I guess I shouldn't have rushed into getting this. Since it smells differently on every person, you should consider going to Sephora & testing it out for at least a day. For me, I probably won't buy again.

I adore this fragance. I love the way it makes me smell. Its very summery, perfect for night time. Guys love this scent, I swear my boyfriend cannot get of me when I wear it. I got it for cheap at marshalls and I wear it everyday!

A luscious, delectable, warm, sexy, and unique fragrance, but sadly, as other reviewers have pointed out, it doesn't last very long. The problem I have with many Ralph Lauren fragrances is that they only come in an EDT, so they have very little staying power. It's especially unfortunate because it isn't cheap. Also, I can no longer find it on the Sephora, Ulta, or Macy's websites. I'm guessing it's been discontinued.

very nice warm, spicy scent! I would give it five lippies except that after about half an hour or so I can't detect the scent at all! its really a shame because the scent is lovely

I was so excited to try this but it didn't work with my body chemistry. This frangrance has a boat load of notes 13 to be exact. Mind you none of the thirteen notes were discernible to my nose. When I sprayed it on it was so muddled that I couldn't figure out what I was smelling. On me it's musky/spicey. Another down fall is the fact that their is no dry down at all I sprayed it and after 3 hours it was gone. Mose of Ralph series is like this so I shoudn't be too surprised.

Every time I've worn it, someone always compliments me.
Ralph HOT just makes me feel cozy, I think it is an ideal winter scent, though I would wear it anytime I want!This perfume is nothing like other fragrances I have owned.It's a sexy smell, so I can see why they called it Hot,very sensual fragrance. I love this perfume. It's warm and spicy.How odd that someone thinks this smells like summer and the sea lol it does just the opposite for me. It reminds me of winter - vanilla, caramel and warm, spicy things! But I do love the way this smells so I willl not only wear it in winter but anytime. I love it!!

Hands down my favorite perfume EVER.
This perfume is definitely a warmer scent and smells delicious. Every time I've worn it, someone always compliments the scent (especially men!). My go-to every time. I tend to only wear it at night, as it's a little too musky for me in the day time (I prefer lighter ones then), but at night...it can only be described as perfect.
I plan on buying this perfume over and over again. I never get tired of wearing it...It immediately improves my mood the second I smell it.
Definitely recommended!!!

A few years ago for christmas my grandmother got me this set of ralph lauren perfume testers. They were a decent size I still have some of them. My favorite though was ralph lauren hot. The scent is amazing for summer I don't even know how to describe the way it smells besides amazing. The wear time is amazing so it was made with good oils but you would only expect that from ralph lauren. I haven't picked a bottle up since the tester that was given to me a year or two ago but I think in the next two weeks I am going to make a point to pick it up.

I'm a big fan of spicy warm scents. So when I heard about this one I took a risk and went out and got it without testing. I can detect the citrus note on first spray and the sugary vanilla sandalwood really comes out on me when the scent dries down. I'll be wearing this all summer and probably the cooler months too.

I got this as a gift from a friend.
The first time I smelled this, i knew instantly that this is my kind of scent. On me, it smelled like coconuts and hints of vanilla.

I read from one member that it helped her sleep at night after spraying this on, and i got that same effect on me! I love this scent, it makes me think of going to the beach. Staying power isn't that good though. I like the bottle, easy to carry around.

It's ok... maybe it will grow on me. I bought it based on reviews and the fact that I like the original Ralph. It must have cedar in it because I feel like I smell like sweet pencil shavings with this on. Cedar seems to dominate when I wear a fragrance that contains it. so it is my chemistry. I will have to keep trying this and maybe I'll learn to like it more. For now, just - ok.

When I spray this on at first I get coconut, then the brown sugar and sweetness come through, comforting, warm, delicious. I would have given it 5 lippies but for the fact that it really doesn't last on me. I find myself re-spritzing throughout the day. Lovely lovely scent, though.

Sigh. I wish this smelled on me like other people's descriptions...I bought this based on the reviews saying it's so gourmand and foody. The thought of a fragrance scented like a maple cream latte intrigued me (LOL weird, I know. Some days I just feel like smelling like a delectable treat). This doesn't smell bad, not at all, but it isn't maple/mocha/cinnamon at all for me. On my skin, I basically get a coconut musk with some fig. It really makes me think of Bath & Body Works Brown Sugar and Fig mixed with Harajuku Lovers G - a smooth coconut, with warm fig, and ambery musk. It smells very nice, but it isn't what I was expecting...I really wanted that mocha/maple thing to happen. The first day I wore this, I got a compliment from two strangers saying I smelled "really great". I always love when that happens :) I'll keep wearing this because it is quite nice, maybe even a little sexy. Very appropriate for cooler weather too.

Hot was my first perfume around the age of 12-13. I really loved the way it smelled; it warms you up in the winter and cools you down in the summer. Spicy would describe this scent! It is truly an amazing scent, mocha, amber, and vanilla with a tinge of cinnamon. It smells strong at first -- but what perfume doesnt? If the smell goes "away" -- thats good, it means it matches with your chemistry but other people can still smell it. I wear hot, viva la juicy, and dolce and gabanna number 3. No matter what, i always go back to hot. it is one of the best perfumes out there.
