I loooooove the smell, it's so summer and fresh. I bought it a month ago for my trip to mexico, and it was really useful. Like always, i got a sunburn. I tried a lot of products but it always ended up peeling. This time i used this twice a day on it and it didn't peel! So moisturizing and cheap! :)

This lotion smells so delicious. If anyone remembered and loved the now discontinued Bath & Body Works Coconut Lime Verbena, this one I was pleasantly surprised to find smells very similar. It does have a weird chemical sort of note when you first put it on, but it disappears after a few minutes and you're left with a yummy, creamy, tropical coconut lime scent. Many companies have tried to duplicate the coconut lime scent & some smell cheap, synthetic, cloy or fake. But this one gets it's right. As a moisturizer I think it absorbs quickly while still leaving skin soft. Ulta has these for $8.99 but they had a special buy one get one 50% off, plus I had a coupon, so I paid $5 each. Walmart has it for cheaper.

Sadly this used to be one of my favorite moisturizers ever up until this year.

In early June I bought a bottle of this like I have been doing for years.

Everything was all good...perfect cool lime scent,moisturizing w/out being greasy,etc.

In early August after using this one night I noticed within a hour I had a small amount of hives on my chest and inner arms didn't think anything of it....so I went on and used it off and on and kept noticing the same thing itchy hives in the same areas..you think I would have learned my lesson and stop using it but no lol In late August the last time I used this I ended up getting hives so bad I had to go to the dr and get medication pills and a cream. The itching was unbearable and the hives were so beyond bad=(

I don't know if they changed something in the formula for 2012 with this lotion cuz in all my years of using this lotion I never had any problems like this.

I tried passing this on to my husband to use and no such luck..anytime he used it and I was near him and say my arm bumped his arm..I'd break out into hives.

I really am going to miss my all time favorite summer moisturizer!=(

I was recently at the beach and got a pretty bad sunburn. I bought this and tried it and it immediately soothed my sunburn and it also smelled amazing. I have found that i use it even when i'm not at the beach or have a sunburn, but that i use it all the time after a shower. It makes skin soft and it doesn't make skin irritated or itchy. Love it!(:

Ive been looking for this product all summer and finally found it and glad I did. Idk if my bottle is old but it smells like fresh lime mixed with plastic and chemicals but not to bad and disappears after putting it on. The product is moisturizing and thick but not greasy it lasts all day, feels fresh and good on my skin, and I love putting this on after a nice cold shower after being out in the sun all day. I will be stocking up to wear all year around, I already bought 2 bottles, its great for the summer and love it.

I first discovered this in the USA in 2008. It cost around $4 and came in a big pump tube. It smells amazing, a fruity yet feminine uplifting scent! I bought 2 bottles home with me and was sad when they ran out. I then found it in Boots stores in the UK but it cost double the price and came in a tub which I don't like. It does leave your skin feeling and smelling amazing, so if you get a chance to buy some then do it! (I think Boots have discon the product in the UK though!!)

bought this while vacationing in mexico although it doesnt really do anything for sun burn or skin peeling it does smell really nice. i am already on my second bottle use it everyday cant really say if its doing anything for my skin ... the lotion is very thick in texture and not greasy no matter how much i apply... got my friends loving the smell so much they went and purchased a bottle too!!

This lotion is beyond awesome! It works great and really moisturizes helping keep my skin super soft. Love this stuff! Oh and it literally smells edible.. DELICIOUS. Highly recommend.

I don't tan so I don't use this for "after sun" care, but I love a good smelling body lotion that feels good on my skin. The ingredients are very nice and the lotion isn't greasy or sticky. It's perfectly moisturizing, sinks into my skin quickly and it smells great. It's not a coconutty pina colada type fragrance, but I don't think it's supposed to be. I think the name lime coolada implies a tropical, sweet lime scent (like a cool lime-aid), which is exactly what it smells like to me. I can detect a hint of cocoa butter and other fruit extracts in it as well, but it's a lovely blend. Perfect lotion for summertime.

I regret purchasing this stuff. The smell is beyond artificial and smells like plastic. The formula is too thick and never feels like the skin absorbs it, no matter how much you use. This did nothing for my sun burn. I kept it in the fridge so it delivered very quick cooling, but only from being in the refridgerator. It didn't help with peeling, pain or tightness in my skin. I used this stuff constantly and my skin still felt super tight. I'll stick to Aloe Vera Gel from now, at least I know it works and is super cheap.

I love anything that smells tropical especially with coconut and lime scent! But even if the scent wasn't there, this lotion is still great! There are so many different fruit oils and vitamins that make this an exceptional product. It is very soothing, extremely moisturizing, and absorbs pretty good. I would use this as an everyday lotion instead of just for after sun use. Especially so because it smells sooo good!

I bought 2 of these for £10 at Boots when they were on offer and couldn't wait to slather them on as they smell so divine! The best way I can describe it is a tropical scent mixed with coconut and a hint of citrus, it might not be for everyone but I adore it! It's a lovely cream that isn't too thick so it sinks in to your skin really quickly with zilch greasy residue. I love putting it on purely because of the smell and consistency, but I've been using this regularly for 2 weeks and haven't seen any major difference in my skin. It feels nice when it first goes on but hasn't made my skin any softer in the long run.
I think this would be a lovely thing to use on holiday for it's tropical scent, but I probably wouldn't buy this again. It retails at around £9 which I think is a bit steep as there's a lot of body butters that moisturise better for less - even if they don't smell as good!

This review isn't for the Lime Coolada Moisturizer - it is actually for the Aftersun moisturizer in the 200 ml bottle that you get in Europe. I was in Ibiza this year and went with all carry-on baggage due to a fear of not having anything for a week and a half if the airline lost my luggage with all my connecting flights. With that being said, I was only allowed 100 ml bottles max. so I skipped out on bringing any sun stuff. While I was in Ibiza, I got slightly burnt and was on the verge of peeling. I quickly ran down to the nearest little store and bought the Aftersun moisturizer in the 200 ml bottle. I slathered some on and didn't peel once! I kept using this stuff as the week went on (plus the smell was AMAZING). Unfortunately, I only used a quarter of the bottle and was forced to throw it out at the airport so the next time I am in Europe I am going to bring smaller bottles to transfer the lotion into so that I can bring it back home! Hands down the best stuff I have ever used and only wish I could get this in Canada :(

Different packaging in the UK. Comes in a decent sized, lurid green tub. OK, so I only bought it because they were selling it for 2 quid in Asda (I bought 2 and I may go back for more). Actually I really like it. I'm not keen on coconut scented products but this smells like a nice beach-y cocktail made with Malibu and lime juice(rocking that '80's vibe) Moisturises nicely and absorbs well. This was retailing in Boots in the summer for about £8. I wouldn't pay that much for it (that would buy a huge tub of my fave Elle McPherson Body Silk Creme after all) but for £2 I'll lie back and think of summer.

This review is for the large green pump bottle.

This is one of those products that you want it to like because of the name "Lime Colada", but come on...this smells nothing like Lime or Pina Colada. Don't fall for the marking BS. It smells like fruit gone bad mixed with plastic. It's very greasy too. Might be good for winter skin but personally, I can't get passed the stink. This is coming from someone who's house is decorated like the Honolulu Hilton. I know tropical when I see & smell it, and this is just gross.
Also a bottle of moisturizer has no business being $10 at Walmart (Canada) when I can get giant bottles of St. Ives body lotion on sale for $1.99 at SDM.

This stuff is awesome. It's cheap, moisturizes extremely well... and did I mention it smells divine? I bought my 16 oz bottle for around $6 dollars.

It's never greasy-feeling, and the scent lasts a fairly long time on the skin.

Great product, will continue to repurchase!

Loooove the smell! One sniff and I feel like I'm back at the beach sipping cocktails, it's gorgeous. Pretty good moisturiser too. I wish they made this as a perfume!
