I fell in love with my sample so I decided to buy the larger size. People complain of the chemical smell- I think that it's more "perfumey"- but like it all the same. Overall, not so impressed as I was initially. Still does not prevent drying during the east coast winter. Probably will better better in milder climates. Won't repurchase.

Mario Badescu's moisturizers are the first I've ever used where they don't break me out, and I've tried several. That is saying a LOT for me. I have combination/normal skin that is acne prone, and for some reason other brands like Clinique, Neutrogena and Murad have causes serious acne in my skin when I've tried their moisturizers.
I'd been using the SPF-17 Oil Free moisturizer, also by Mario, when I decided I wanted to try something new. I use honey as a face mask a lot and love it so, knowing that, I picked this out. And I'm so glad I did.
This moisturizes SO well without being greasy at all, doesn't break me out, soothes and smoothes my skin.... everything. The scent is light and floral, not the best smell ever but certainly not bad, and it doesn't last very long. A bottle lasts about 6 months for me, and I think Mario Badescu's prices are very fair for the quality. Basically, I love it, and it's my go-to moisturizer and the best I've ever tried.

I have been using this moisturizer day and night for the past couple weeks, and my skin hasn't looked more calm or felt so smooth in a long time. I have oily acne-prone skin and this does a wonderful job of moisturizing and soothing my skin from the drying cleanser and treatments I use. This truly helps my skin stay balanced. I love the scent and the light texture, it absorbs almost immediately, and I only need a pea-sized amount to cover my face. Thanks again MB for another dependable skincare product.

OH wow! I can see how celebrities and other people really love this product. I had a deluxe sample of this which I have been using for a week. I love the creamy texture, and quickly absorbed into my skin. I have oily skin, and it does not leave my skin shiny or greasy, but more like matte satiny which is perfect for under makeup. $25 dollars is alot for 2 oz but I would only repurchase if i really really need it.

Sadly, this product made me break out. I have combo to dry skin. I liked the smell and feel of the product, but can't live with the break outs.

I have fair skin that is sensitive and dry, even during the Los Angeles summers. i purchased this product in May and just ran out of it last week. The smell is great--not too perfumey. I really liked the consistency as it spread nicely over my face. A little bit goes a long way, and it is pretty moisturizing. A lot of reviewers commented how thick it was. I disagree. I used a d/s moisturizer before this one, and I would have to wait a long time for it to absorb. I use mineral makeup, and the thick d/s brands didn't leave my skin smooth enough to apply the mineral makeup. The Honey moisturizer was overall great, left my skin smooth, wonderful to use under my makeup, and hydrating for longer than just 5 minutes like many d/s brands. But for my dry skin, it was still not hydrating enough. I loved how it felt for the few hours it lasted, but eventually my face felt tight. I used the MB facial spray to help the moisture throughout the day, but still would prefer a moisturizer that will last throughout the day. If I didn't have dry skin, I would love this product. I've been using the hyaluronic moisture for a few days, and absolutely love the results it gives for my dry skin.

Mario Badescu is one of my favorite lines because of his high quality and reasonable pricing. His products deliver results. The Honey Moisturizer is just right for my skin and works great under makeup. The smell is pleasant.

Sadly, this was my first bad experience with a Badescu product. My skin initially felt soft and smooth but when I washed it off at night, my skin was reddened and I could see a few tiny zits wanting to pop out. Still think that Badescu cleansers and toners are some of the best out there, though!

Would recommend this as a daytime moisturizer because I prefer a heavier product for night. Absorbs very quickly, and skin feels firmer immediately. Nice, light scent. Leaves my skin slightly shiny, so I have to use blotting papers. Would say this is a good product to keep around as a staple. Travels well.

This is a great moisturizer! I love the smell and the way it absorbs super fast into my skin. No more waiting 20 minutes before applying my makeup. My skin has greatly improved while using this moisturizer.

Upside: Nice scent, absorbed well. Downside: not very moisturizing. Still woke up feeling dry. Don’t waste your money. This line has failed to impress me on any level.

For me this moisturizer absorbs well, feels really light, and has a nice scent, but I agree with some of the other reviewers. I don't think that this is doing anything that other (cheaper) moisturizers I've tried can't do.
Also, while this hasn't broken me out, I don't always feel like it's agreeing with my skin either. Sometimes I feel like I'm about to develop a rash from it.

this is a good moisturizer for dry skin. however, if you have oily/acne prone skin, like me, look somewhere else!

While I agree with all of the other reviews about this being a not good face moisturizer... Do not throw this product away!!! It happens to be an amazing Body lotion!!! It is great to put on at night, and by the next morning, your skin will be soft and glowing!!! A little pricey for a body lotion though!

I must say, Mario Badescus products looks so weird.. like something you could find on your pillow at a hotel room. Anyways, I kinda like the cheap look. I don`t really like the smell of this moisturizer and it takes forever for it to sink in.. My buttermilk moitsurizer which I ADORE absorbs much faster, so the honey moisturizer wont add up to this. Anyways, a good moisturizer for those sitting-home-doing-nothing days, or when you just have time to let it absorb. It feels like it`s just sitting on my skin compared to the buttermilk moisturizer, therefore just three lippies. I`m guessing it`ll be a bit heavy for summertime, so I`ll probabaly use it at night when the summer comes. Love that these products are cheap!!

This is a really nice, soothing moisturizer. I used this at night (since it's a bit heavy for day), and I woke up with soft, glowing skin. Unfortunately though, it was clogging my pores and causing breakouts, so I had to send it back. It's a shame too because it was a really good moisturizer otherwise.

I'm a huge fan of Mario Badescu products except than this one; I can't get over the feeling that this is vaseline with honey scent. It's super thick and greasy, it holds the moisture in my skin but feels heavy, and oily even when used sparingly. I also found that it clogged my pores and gave me deep pimples, (which I rarely get) no matter how I used it or how well I cleansed at night.
Most of the other products in his line leave my skin feeling light and clean, but this one is the sad exception. I can only see using it as an intense lip moisturiser, or perhaps in super flaky areas occasionally.

I think this works great as a nice simple moisturizer. Its got a somewhat thin, easily spreadable texture, and it sinks in quickly without leaving a shiny sheen. I love the honey smell, and I think the bottle this comes in is ideal- a small plastic bottle with a flip-up spout, so I can carry it in my bag without worrying about it spilling all over.
I don't think this is any miracle lotion, and at first I assumed I'd use it up and find a d/s version that was just as good, but so far I haven't found a suitable replacement, so I would probably re-buy.
