Humn...Everyone seems to rave about this product but it didn't do a thing for my coarse, long, curly hair. I didn't get any slip at all and my hair looked really dull after using and tangled like crazy. I wanted to love it bc Oyin makes one of my HG hair products (Burnt sugar pomade) but I was left unimpressed.

HOLY GRAIL FOR LIFE!!!!!!!!!!!! I have been using this conditioner for about 9 months now and it is incredible. I have kinky/curly African American hair. This conditioner leaves it amazingly soft with an incredible scent. It really is the nectar of the gods! :) Only complaint is that with the largest size (32 oz) it is very hard to use in the shower. A pump would be awesome.

i like it only as a rinse out conditioner. as a leave in, it makes my hair feel very hard. the smell is cool, i guess.it smells like oranges sweeten with honey. i wish the conditioner was a little thicker with more slip, but other then that i like it. however, this could never be my main conditioner. you have to let it sit for a while before washing it out to reap the full benefits. when i let is sit only for about 5-10 mins my hair was left feeling very dry. so i leave it in for about an hour.
oh yea...my hair is about 4a with some 3c

UPDATE: after using up the whole bottle, i would have to say i don't like it. my hair felt very dry after using this conditioner. i don't know why i didn't like this product. i will just stick with ORS for now.

I really like this conditioner -- all natural ingredients and handmade. I have wavy fine but very dry hair. I found this conditioner does not have a lot of slip, which was okay for me, but I think it is too heavy for my hair and didn't seem to make it shiny. It was more like having a lot of build=up. I liked it but don't plan to buy again. Maybe for thicker hair.

Oh my word! This stuff is excellent!
First off...the scent. Like citrusy sweet fruit punch. Very fresh and invigorating. Instantly puts me in a wide awake good mood. As far as slip goes...yeah..it has a little slip, but it has more of a softening effect more so than actual "slip". It does a great job of conditioning wich my long waist lenth 3b-3cish curls need. Makes my hair easy to detangle. I use it as a rinse out and leave in conditioner though it's better as a rinse out. Easy to distribute and makes my hair feel really healthy. Plus makes my hair smell great. I would highly suggest everyone try this gem. I couldn't understand how anyone could use this and not like it??? This is one of the two HG conditioners of all time, for me. Thank goodness they come in 32oz. now!
UPDATE: I have noticed that overtime this conditioner is not so great for my hair. It is not hydrating enough. If i use it for a long period of time my ends start to feel a little dry. I don't use heat or chemicals on my hair so i have no idea why it does that. Maybe the citrus in it or protein?? I will still use in my rotation but not for long periods at a time. I will also use as a pre-shampoo treatment.

When used as a rinse out I didn't have much slip or noticeable conditiong because of the watery consistency. As a leave-in this is great though. I wish it came in bigger bottles.

I love this stuff!! Best slip of any conditioner I've ever tried (thus far). Smell delicious, too! I also like it as a leave-in. The only problem I have with is is trying to get the last little bit of product out of the bottle, even when it's left upside down. It has something to do with the packaging design.
Update: 02/20/09- I no longer use this because I color my hair red and I'm afraid the honey will lighten it (red is finicky enough on its own!). If I stopped coloring my hair, I would definitely go back to this though!

2a/m/ii, irish/scandanavian, ashy bown hair.

this is great for a leave-in and as use in my SMT deep conditioner as the honey part. I used in correlation with the Head-to-toe Honey Wash as shampoo, and my hair was dull, lifeless and crunchy. Perhaps too much moisture if teamed up like that, but fine in an SMT. Will repurchase. I would like a pump bottle better, but doesn't hider me from liking the product inside. Wonderful smell-a very light citrusy honey, like a candy i ate as a kid-its a very nostalgic smell. paraben free. cruelty free.

I have finally found my HG leave in. Okay, it's not marketed as a leave in, but it's too precious to rinse out! It really, really softens the hair. I like the smell too. It smells like green tea sweetened with honey. Delicious. I combine this with Oyin Greg Juice and Vatika oil. My hair has never been softer nor healthier. This is never leaving my pantry.

I love this conditioner. Great slip/detangling, great moisture, great shine. I wasn't sure about the smell in the bottle but it's lovely once you're using it and dissipates once hair dries.
This is everything I thought Jessicurl Aloeba would be and more. And it's $3 cheaper! :)

This is one of the few conditioners that I feel comfortable using as a leave-in for my locs. It leaves my hair feeling soft and because the consistency is so thin, it doesn't leave a buildup the way other conditioners sometimes do. And the smell is pleasant -- what's not to like?

First of all this smelled delicious, like sweet tarts. The texture is actually pretty runny, but the conditiner is still very moisturizing. I found that just putting this on my ends works the best. This stuff works well, but there are other conditioners that I like better and leave my hair softer and shinier.
