I've been sw*pping and buying makeup for the past couple of years, trying to see which products work well for my coloring (NW10, dark brown hair, blue eyes). My lipsticks have ranged from drugstore Rimmel and Revlon shades to Mac to YSL to Guerlain and Chanel, but I believe I found a winner with MAC's Strawberry Blonde. I got my hands on it in a swap, and it's become the lipstick I've reached for the most over the past year or so. Whenever I'm not sure what to wear, I'll wear this lipstick with a peachy pink blush and coffee brown eyeliner and I'm set. I get more attention from guys wearing Strawberry Blonde than with any other lipstick, which is a fun side effect of it! ;) It's face brightening yet subtle enough for any occasion. If anyone knows of a dupe, please share! I've been searching for one for awhile in case my back up runs out. Hopefully MAC will re-release this gem of a shade since there's nothing in their permanent collection quite like it.

Stunning. Absolutely Stunning. I ♥ this lipstick to the end of the earth. It is the perfect coral lipstick for my NW15 face, lightly pigmented lips. (For reference: Dark brown hair and eyes - Eastern European).
As with most MAC products, this was limited edition. I actually purchased this on a whim, after I saw the SA at the counter (with similar coloring to mine) wearing this lipstick. I bought it and have never regretted it. It is true love. Sorry to sound so dramatic, but when you find your true love, it is hard to let it go. This is it.

My second coral lipstick. Geez. I think I might be one of the very few people who just doesn't understand the hype over this lipstick. It was expensive for me because I did a CP in order to swap for it. Took me 2 years to get it. Silly me, I also got a backup thinking it would be lovely on me. It's not a terrible colour...I just don't find it special enough. It's a coral pink and on photos, it shows up a warm pink. In real life, it looks coral. And God knows I don't look good in peaches and corals. I don't understand my skin undertones. =/ I thought I was warm-toned (I'm 50 Naturel in Chanel Teint Innocence, NC43 or lighter) and would be able to wear such shades. But maybe it depends on lip pigmentation as well. Mine are mauve/light plum coloured, so maybe I look better in purples and pinks. Syrup and Sweetie and even Orchidazzle look good on me. *lol* Also, I found Strawberry Blonde to be particularly drying on me. This would suit someone with warmer undertones (not as neutral as I am) and lighter lips, I guess. *sigh* Speaking of corals, I think Pink D'Lush slimshine is similar to this and it's a love of mine since it's sheerer and more moisturising. :)

Ohhhh wow..I am in love. This is the perfect coral pink lipstick, and since it is a lustre finish, it is quite moisturizing. I bought this off of ebay, after looking everywhere else for it, but to no avail. I paid a pretty penny, but once I saw it, I couldn't resist. I am so glad I did. I am wearing it now, and it doesn't have orange tones to it as some reviewers stated. I am a NW15, but think a NC15 person can wear this lipstick as well..but having said that, I think anyone can. It is ultra flattering and I really hope MAC restocks this as soon as possible..I can see why people love it so much! I think it is a good summer color, although in the winter, I need that extra pop of color on my lips. It is not an overpowering coral pink, but noticeable enough to be effective. If you can find this, definitely pick it up! I am so glad I did.

My favorite color!!! its a creamy strawberry pink that looks great on me. All I pair it up with is with some MAC's clear lipglass. Plus the texture is amazing. Goes on supper smooth and feels amazing. I pray that MAC brings it back.

Strawberry Blonde is another one of my fav lipsticks from MAC's lustre line. The corally peach color can be applied sheerly, or layered for a more dramatic lip. There are very fine multi-color shimmers in it that are almost undetectable, but give the lipstick some depth. Sadly, this was LE, but if you are looking for a dupe, Savannah Bee Co's Peach Lip Tint (sold @ BBW) is very close. Below is a pic of the lip tint on top, and Strawberry Blonde on the bottom. NC 25ish, blonde, blue eyes, and my lips are only lightly pigmented.

I had a hard time finding this LE lippie and finally gotten hold of this! Actually Im not a fan of mac lipsticks but I fell in love with this colour after seeing swatches of it. Strawberry Blonde is such a unique and pretty colour, something different from the usual colours I have. It looks apricot-pinkish on my lips (NC15), and intensity of the colour can be built up depending on the number of times you layer it. Being a lustre lipstick, it makes my lips smooth, soft and moist with a wet-look finish (like lip gloss)! Love it ! ♥

Strawberry blonde is the perfect sheer red/coral on my light olive C25 skin. I have hazel eyes and dark brown hair and when I wear this people say my whole face looks brighter. It is nice with a simple eye and a shimmery coco cheek. I don't reach for this as much as I should, it's a great color that I would buy again. For reference, here it is on my lips:

I love MAC lustre lipsticks but when I saw this in the tube I didn't think it would work for me. However after hearing so many raves for it here, I managed to swap for one. I normally can't wear pinks, I think they look garish on me, but this one doesn't. It is a bright but not overwhelming pink with a hint of coral on my pigmented lips. It is very different from all my other lippies, which is nice too. I love it topped with jellybabe lipgelee and simple eyes. My lips stand out, in a good way.

After hearing people rave about this I finally managed to swap for one. I was not dissapointed.
This is such a gorgeous color. This doesn't look pink on me at all. It's coral/orange. Kind of bright... but if applied sheerly it's less intimidating. Would repurchase if it wasn't LE.

I got this lipstick because I spotted an MUAer wearing it and thought the sweet, watermelon-y pink would be a perfect summer lippie. Unfortunately, it's way brighter and darker on me than I thought it'd be. My lips are pretty pigmented and are a cool-toned, mauve rose (ironic, since I look best with warm lip colors) and I guess they brought out the cooler tones in this color (which is actually fairly neutral-looking in the tube). It doesn't really look all that coral or orangey on me--more like a strong, Barbie-ish, Palm Beach-pink if I apply straight from the tube. Eep. Not the most flattering thing for my NC25-ish complexion (yellow undertones).

It's a bit more wearable if I cancel out my natural lip color with a base of some kind (I use Philosophy's The Supernatural in Nude), apply Strawberry Blonde lightly, then top it with a gold-flecked shimmery gloss like Cover Girl's Wetslicks Crystals in Sunset Twinkle. But that's more work than I'm willing to invest in my lips and the color's still not what I was looking for. [Le Sigh.] I think this would've worked better if it were a bit softer of a color, lighter and sheerer. Finally, (and maybe it's my imagination) the texture seems to be a bit drier than is normal for a Lustre. Will not be getting another.

ETA: Odd. Tried it on again in the morning light and it looked better. It's still best to blot this down or wear it sheerly, or my natural lip color will make it too pink, but it's a sweet color after all. Thank goodness!

I love MAC Lustres. I currently own 8 of them, and there have been several more I've tried that haven't worked on me. As a cool-toned PPP, I must say that I *love* Strawberry Blonde. I'm also a cool-toned PPP who does unusually well with corals and peaches, though, so if you tend not to be able to wear those colors, you should stay away. This is pretty much true coral on me, with maybe a tiny hint of pink. It brightens my face, pops my green eyes, and generally looks summery and happy on me. I highly recommend it. :)

What a great lipstick! Amazing texture... smooth, sheer, moisturizing. Others described its color as a coral ranging on the pink side. However, it appeared less pink on my PPP skin and lips and more of an orange-toned coral. I still love it, nonetheless! I pray to the MAC gods that they bring this LE item back some day, so I can purchase more and more Strawberry Blondes! :)

LOVE! When one of the girls put this on me I was like WHAT? I soooo would not have picked this for myself! But I LOVED it on me and I got so many compliments and people asking me what lip color I was wearing. Normally I LOVE coral/peachy lips but ONLY in gloss form. So Happy I tried something new. My mom loves it too! I wear it alone, or with Love nectar gloss on top when I want more shine, or to really kick it up I use Whirl lip liner, Strawberry Blonde and Slicked Pink lip gelee for shine! Always gets lots of raves! Definitely try it if you can!

The overall quality on this pinky-coral l/s is good. It is well pigmentated and easy to apply. I just don't care for the color and the staying power isn't very good. I am an NW20 w/moderately pigmentated lips, dark brown hair, & hazel eyes. This just doesn't look good on me and for a l/s it doesn't seem to have much staying power. I would not repurchase and hope to swap the one I have away.

What a wonderful color--a pinky-coral nude. At first I thought it might be too blah, but it goes with so much, and it doesn't every look overly pink of chalky, just ladylike. I took this on a trip to Paris recently, wondering if it would suddenly look too pink in that light, and it just looked like a very classy pinky-nude color, good for wearing with just about everything. I wish Mac would bring out more Deneuve colors . . . .

I have fallen in love with another LE from the Catherine Deneuve line. I bought 2 b/c its perfect for me. It totally brightens up my face with the perfect pink/coral combo. And it stands alone, you don't have to line or use gloss. Sometimes I use gloss over it though, but I don't feel its necessary like I do with some other lipsticks. It looks so bright in the tube, but it is so sheer and so pretty on the lips. I would marry it if I could. That's how in love I am with this lipstick! :) It is somewhat similar to See Sheer but it has more pink, where See Sheer is totally coral. I have both and I like this much better than See Sheer. I see quite a difference in the 2 after they are applied.

First, the consistency of this lipstick is wonderful--smooth, creamy, moisturizing--you can't really ask for more. Second, the color is unique--a pretty, pretty mix of pinky-peach with pale strawberry milkshake somewhere in there. This color is so lovely it stands alone. Doesn't need frost, shimmer, glitter or high shine. It's that good. Looks natural and really brightens the skin. And, it's sheer! I *do* *love* sheer lippies! EDIT: After a week of enjoying Strawberry Blonde I am going back to pick up the last two at my Dillards--must have back-ups of this one! I always seem to have three *favorite* lipsticks that I always reach for and this one has now achieved "top-three" status. SECOND EDIT: Strawberry Blonde is my favorite lipstick of all time....the perfect coral....not as bright as some corals (NARS Niagara which is too bright for me)....SB is as bright as I can go. I love this lipstick and hope MAC will bring it back. Paired with Stereo Rose it is amazing. Respectfully submitted, colormepink

This is such a pretty, feminine color; very warm, more pink than orange, with a nice soft glisten. I have used it over MAC's lip prep & prime for a smoother application and have used it w/their Lure l/l. It's probably best for a spring/summer look because of the color. I have golden reddish-dark blonde hair, green eyes, and a fair complexion with yellow undertones. I've worn it with mascara just on the upper lashes, and 3CC eye shadows I found for an excellent price on eBay in the warm tones: pebble & marigold, mixed together...a great combo and then I applied 3CC's cool brown sugar eye shadow just on the lower lid. I'm looking forward to using this a lot this season.
