I loved the contouring facial lift but recently got the new replacement product, Shaping Facial Lift. The original was great but this is even better. I'm quite puffy around the eyes in the morning and I've been using this for three days with the new advanced auto-lifting exercises and the difference is amazing. My eyebrows look lifted and my facial contours look far less puffy. This is a star product - I just wish Clarins would post a video of the extended auto-lifting method - I know the first part from the Contouring facial lift but the second part is hard to follow with drawings.

I've been using this product 1-2 times a day with the auto-lifting methode for about a week and a half now. So far, no visible difference in the "lifting" portion of the product. HOWEVER, for some odd reason this product has been great for improving the texture and smoothness of my skin, which was a pleasant surprise.

It's pricey, but I think I would repurchase for the skincare qualities of it (this is cheaper than comparable Shiseido serums, I believe), if not for the "lifting" or "contouring" part - I honestly haven't seen much of a difference yet.

My complaint is the packaging. I do not like opaque packaging, and I do not like pumps, because I know how much product gets stuck at the bottom that you can't get out. What a waste. Also, I don't know if mine was a dude or what, but the pump on mine is extremely loose.

I was given some samples of this product and I have been using it for a few days, so of course it's too early to say whether it has any slimming effect on me. But I gotta say that this is a really nice moisturizer, it's not really hydrating as much, but it's not supposed to hydrate your skin. But what it does, it makes my skin silky smooth and soft. I love to touch my skin after I apply this. Also the massage technique is really nice. I will probably buy a full size and wait for slimming effect.

I am an avid user and sworn by this product for years! MY SA would keep the special duo pack for me whenever it comes with great promotion without even consulting me.I've been a loyal user for more than 5 years,since then my heavy,puffy and flabby cheek has reduced to so called a 'slimmer,sharper chin' now.Of course,I am still careful on my diet too.But, those days my face shape would remained puffy and heavy no matter how much I slim down generally.

The results is more obvious when I follow their massage technique day & nigh.Since then,lots of people thought I lost weight drastically and some even laughed saying that I used to have a tomato face those days and now lost so much weight with much sharper almond face. Actually,I didnt loose much weight,still the same but my face has been much more redefined and that made most to believe I lost a lot of weight.Those who have not seen me would compliment that I have a nice oval face shape,even asked what I did to maintain such a tight and firm skin.Few thought I went for botox!! I have more confidence and could tie up my long hair in a bun or whichever way I wished with my much slimmer and sharper chin now:)

Anyway,I'm rather happy with this innovation and always keep 2 bottles behind me.As of now,I have 6 new sealed bottles (3 old contouring bottles and 3 new shaping lift behind).Try to get duo pack whenever they have great promotion or from duty free shop.

I must admit yet to find something better to replace this HG product so far..However,i must admit I dont see much difference on their body lifting care,hydration and whitening serum,except for their multiactive night lotion and facial shaping serum which certainly stand out amongst few others in the market!

This is my first review ever. I thought this Clarins product was too good to be true, but the lovely SA told me that it actually works, even for her when she was my age, and that when it first came out in France, women of all ages were lining up for it; it was that phenomenal.
I can understand why, this treatment is one of its kind! I have a slightly chubby face and i think alot of it is due to sleeping late and water retention, and i wanted a natural solution of some sort, and this really helps.
I've used it for about 2 weeks using the auto lifting method, and i really did notice that my skin felt tighter! I don't expect to have a really slim face after using this, that's asking for too much, but this product really did what it said, and i'm impressed.

The consistency is like a light moisturiser, it smells heavenly with floral accents and when you apply it on your face along with the auto lifting method, your skin instantly feels amazingly soft and supple, it feels great!

Will definately buy again, there's nothing like it. Also, i might also go try the new Clarins lipo-drainage serum if and when it is available in Australia as it seems to be a more heavy-duty version of this one.

Great and surprisingly effective product! :)

I got this as a gift and I know this is expensive because I checked lol. I didn't think it would work at first because the consistency of this product is water like, but as soon as I put it on my face it felt so moisturizing and the dry patches disappeared. I just recently started using it so I can't see a lift or slimming result but I definitely see how soft, smooth, and moisturizing it makes my skin feel and look.

I can't say HOW much I'm in love with this product. In Singapore where I live, this is called "Firming Facial Lift", but I presume it's the same thing. I don't see it selling on the US Sephora Website though. Which is weird..
Anyway, I bought this product last year in December because I noticed my face was getting chubbier and I was afraid I would develop a double chin! So I decided to give this a try after much persuasion from the SA. She told me to follow the application instructions in the booklet given, or it wouldn't work. So I followed the application technique (pressing motions) religiously. After the FIRST application, I'm not kidding, I felt that my face was tighter! And after a week of using the product, I got compliments about my face looking smaller.
Now I've been using this product for close to 4 months, and my friend just asked me whether I went for a botox injection to slim my jawline. It's really amazing! And it lasts a long time too. I use it at night. Just 1 pump will do the trick. I'm still on my first bottle :) It's a definite repurchase for me.
LOVE LOVE LOVE IT.

ps: ppl who don't like it are probably not following the instructions in the manual! :)

After using it for almost 3 weeks, I can already see a big difference in my facial features. My friends could tell in the first week after using it. Usually in the morning, I tend to get bloatedness on my face and neck. Since using this twice a day following Clarins Manual Facial lift technique, my bloatedness as receded. My cheekbones, jaw line, and nose area has appeared more contoured. Its quite expensive for the amount that you get in the bottle, so unless its on discount, I would not repurchase it.

About every other day I would wake up with a puffy face, and it would remain puffy until mid-afternoon. I started using this product to solve that problem at the end of January, since about mid February, I haven't waken up with a puffy face. I haven't changed my sleep routine or my diet, so I think this product may be the reason. Though my skin doesn't look more "lifted" or "tighter" than before. Since I have oily skin, for me, it's also like a night moisturizer that doesn't clog my pores. So far it hasn't irritated my skin, only once, after I got sunburned.

I'm really disappointed that I didn't like this product. I really had high hopes for it. I used it for about a week then it started breaking out my face. Little bumps were appearing on my cheeks, and my skin was relatively clear and smooth prior to this. I stopped using this and my skin went back to my normal state and I decided to give this another try. After another week of use, it has caused me an even worse breakout. I got small bumps and large pimples on my cheeks. I'm so upset! This was expensive too, would definitely not buy again!

this is my number one favourite item from clarins. i am addicted to using this morning and evening everyday with the auto lift method and am very pleased with the results. it definitely has the effect of creating a slimmer more refined face contour. this product easily makes it on the top of my skin care must haves. (^,^)

I LOVE this product!!! It really works! After using it for 2-3 days i can feel the difference ( i feel that my face is much lighter). I began to see my face getting a little slimmer as i continued to use it every day and night. I really wanted to solve my chubby cheek and double chin problem so i dutifully carried out the auto-lifting procedure by following the manual and trust me, it works wonders when u combine the product with the procedure itself. I used clarins body shaping cream as well and honestly, i think clarins is a great brand for lymphatic drainage and slimming down extra fats. Its kinda pricey though but its worth it. TOTALLY!!

I love, love, LOVE this product! My face is usually round, inflammed and puffy. When I used this stuff with the the clarins facial massage technique, I saw results. My cheeks were less fluffy, I look like a woman with a refined face and not like a chubby cheeked 5 year old anymore. This stuff works. It may take sometime, be patient, you will see a difference especially in photographs!

I love this serum! I use it day and night, it had became one of my HG. I cant say i was always lucky with this serum. A few years back when i first tried this product, i got a bad allergic reaction to it. Although i saw my face lifted and tightened, my bf said i looked rested but i had to give it up because of the allergy. Couple of years past and my skin has been very stable and i decided to give this product another try. Thank God i did because i noticed immediate difference. My face was lifted immediately, i follow the massage technique day after day after day and i do see results. I highly recommend this product and i can honestly say i can't see myself stop using this serum ever! It gets pricey because i use at least 1 bottle per month but i think it is well worth it. Cant live without it!

I was always bothered by my baby-fat face...until I started to use this treatment!!! My contour became visibly slimmer after using it for 4-5 months......one of my close friends actually told me that i should stop using it otherwise my face would look too slim.......
It definitely is the product that I will recommend to any one who doesnt like her baby fat face.

I just love this stuff! I've used it for a couple of months now and am addicted. It sculpts cheekbones I never though I had - it's a subtle effect, but definitely there. And i don't even use the "methode". It has definitely done some firming too. I love that it's light and non-greasy and goes all over the face and neck. A small drop goes a long way. But most of all, I adore the smell of it! The main drawback = the price, so I will be trying other lifting products in between, but will probably end up back with this lovely lotion. PS - the pump bottle is great too.
UPDATE: After continued use, I haven't noticed much more effect than that achieved initially. I still love it, but given the price, may try other products when I finish my bottle.

I am allergic to it! When I applied it at the first time, it seems smooth in the texture. However, when I woke up the next day, my face turned red and there were many small spots on the two sides of my face. Then I stopped using it. After a few months later I just wanted to give it one more chance. The same situation happened again!!! So I believe it was that product as I hadn't changed my skincare during that period.

My face must be allergic to some substances in it. It smell so far so good, but I could feel there is alcohol in it. The price was a bit high. Won't buy it again.

I really like this product- and after the terrible experience I had with Shiseido's Bio-Performance- Super lifting formula- I appreciate it even more. This very light emulsion is also suitable for oiler skins . Furthermore- you MUST apply it using the Clarins manual auto-lifting method in order to get the promised results. And- it really works. It gives you an immediate lifting effect along with the refined texture- it minimized my pores a great deal. But I am pretty sure that it is the method that adds to its effectiveness- at least by 50%. At the moment I am using EL- Future Perfect along with the Clarins manual auto-lifting method- and the results are similar.

Its not so much the product as the process that I'm here to write about. I bought a bottle of this about a year ago (but previously used a similar now discontinued Clarins product for 5 or so years), and once it ran out I didn't need to re-purchase because it's the 'methode' that makes it work. If you want to know why so many French women of a 'certain age' look amazing, it's because they 'do' the 'methode'. My recommendation is to buy a bottle and follow the instructions conscientiously. If you follow the regime religiously, within six weeks you will notice an amazing difference. Your face will be re-contoured, it's about the only way I can describe it. But you MUST do it morning and evening - no slacking off! I've been doing the 'methode' on and off since I was 39. I'm 46 and people assume I am much younger. I consider the 'methode' one of my secret weapons in the war against sagging. Oh, and if you want to see an example of a French woman in her mid-50s who looks amazing (and I'd bet my bottom dollar she does the 'methode'), check out former French Presidential candidate Segolene Royal. A stunning beauty and sooo natural looking. EDIT (28/6/08): I've recently had alot of contact from various MUAers asking me about the 'methode'. It's difficult to explain without diagrams: I suggest that if you are interested, buy the product and follow the instructions which should be included inside the box. If they are not there, contact Clarins and ask for them because the methode really is integral. Basically to do the methode, you hang your head (like a dead weight), face down, in the palm of your hands, so that your hands are are bearing the weight of your head. Hold for ten seconds, then move outwards towards the jaw, again holding for ten seconds. Eventually your hands should be under your neck, again press and hold for ten seconds. Repeat process depending on how much time you have available. I also apply the same process to the eyes, but using the ball of my hands (if you have puffy eyes this is amazing). After 'pressing' for about 3-5 mins, lightly pinch the face, followed by another 'pressing'. Sorry but I don't feel this is adequate without diagrams ... I urge those interested to contact Clarins and ask for image-supported instructions. All the best to the lovely MUAers who have contacted me asking about this amazing technique.

This is a HG in my routine! I tend to have a rather salty diet and i have to drink water before sleep (against advice i know but cant sleep unless i drink) so i am the perfect candidate for the puffy face sydrome. This is a very light gel texture that you use after the toner over the whole face including eye areas and neck. I did not follow the "massage method" but it works wonders. The puffy eyes and jaw look is gone and the skin looks much much brighter as this has a "detox" effect. I did have a bit of breakout initially but it cleared up pretty fast i think is the detoxifying effect. It does what it is supposed to and i am happy with it!
