LOVE this!! Soooo super shiny. Dries fast. <3 Just did it, so I can't judge on how long lasting it is, but if anything I'll update.

I have had this on my nails and toes for 7 days now with no chipping. This is by far the blackest black nail polish I've used. One coat would have been enough but I used two. The coats were sandwiched between OPI natural base coat and top coat. This is my winning combo for manis and pedis that last and last. This polish is super pigmented and very high quality. I would most definitely buy again.

This is a great black polish. I tried China Glaze liquid leather which took 4 coats to look like 1 coat of the Orly Liquid Vinyl. It is glossy and dried very quickly. I may be late with the black polish thing, but I love it! Yay Orly!

Great black polish - super shiny and perfect application in two coats. Much better than most other black polishes I've tried, would repurchase.

This is a great basic black nail polish, super shiny and goes on smoothly, and the rubber handle is great. However, I find that this polish tends to get very clumpy and goes on unevenly by about the 10th use, and even nail polish thinner doesn't seem to solve the problem.

This was my first black and first Orly polish, so far I could not have been more pleased. This polish is super pigmented, I only need one coat for perfect coverage and dries super glossy. With a topcoat it lasts on me for about a week. I also love the rubberized handle, it feels good on m hands when applying.

i am using this right now as i type. the color stays true to its name.
it doesn't require more than a coat for each nail. its super pigmented & very thick. which can be a bit of a problem if you have too much polish on one nail. & the brush handle is a bit too big as well, making it somewhat of a challenge to handle when applying polish (especially if you're like me & have an incredibly hard time painting your right hand).
overall i like it. it's the only black polish i have & the only one i think i'll ever use.

The best black I've found so far....not only is it a true black, it has great staying power. I usually apply this on a weekly basis during the fall/wiinter season. I'll apply on Friday night and will wear well for the next full week. I apply a base coat, 2 coats of this polish and a top coat and it stays on without chipping until the 5th day or so. The brush is a bit on the big side but overall, it's my favorite color and consistency by far.

I've had quite a few black nail polishes in the past, but this one is probably the best formulation that I've found as of yet.
It's definitely a true black, and it's very well pigmented.
This is definitely a one-coat sort of black, and it dries to a glossy finish -- a definite plus in my book. I'm also surprised at how well this particular polished held up.
I'm definitely sticking with this black.

Love the color...I wear it under orly fantasea to make for a darker chrome purple. While I'm happy its thick so I don't need too many coats, it can get goopy if the brush is left in the air for too long, so you have to be quick with your application.

This was the black nail polish I lost my black nail polish virginity to, and since then I've tried Milani Black Magic and NYC Black Lace. This polish is the best looking of all of them, but has a little bit trickier application than Black Magic. But I can say that this polish is beautiful when you finally get it on. It's so glossy that you barely need a top coat, and it is a very true, lovely opaque black with one and a half coats-not bad for any color. It's the darkest and shiniest black of the three and looks so sexy that I would use it over Black Magic even though Black Magic applied easier.

my first Orly polish. It is really liquidy but applied in two coats and dried quick. It did chip a little which aggravated me but whatever. I don't know if I should judge Orly polishes on a black polish though so I will probably give others a try.

I tried this after buying a Maybelline quick dry polish in black and not being that impressed with it. After I got this, I threw that stuff out. This gives great coverage and the brush is perfect. The polish has great shine to it and doesn't take too long to dry in-between coats. It will stain your nails a little bit, yes, but don't all black nail polishes do that? I noticed that when I tried taking it off that the skin around my nails seemed to get a little stained, but I think that has to do more with the fact that the color is black and so dark than it has to do with the polish itself. I would buy it again if I was in the mood for black nails again, but out of all the colors of nail polish I have, black seems to provide the biggest hassle for application and removal, regardless of the brand. And the black nail trend is probably over by now, anyway.

I really like this polish. It's a great shade of black and it's super glossy (it was named well). It lasts a reasonable amount of time, about a week or so. This polish is a little hard to get off if you've applied it too thickly, but I didn't have any problems with nail discoloration. The only problem that I've had is that it's getting a little thick and I've only had the bottle about six months. Adding polish thinner helps, but it doesn't stay thinned. After each use it seems to require more thinner. At least this polish isn't expensive,so I don't mind purchasing a new bottle.

After an unsuccessful attempt to locate the ever elusive Chanel Black Satin, I tried this as an alternative and was pleasantly surprised. My manicure lasted almost a full week, which is only slightly shorter than my experience with OPI or NARS polishes. The shade itself is a lovely black with a nice shine. Once removed, it left no discoloration.

This nailpolish is pretty much... simply put: Black. Hard to remove since it's such a dark color... and I didn't notice this until I waited a week after using it, but it really left a "stain" on my nails, which is a quality I dislike in nailpolish. Not as shiny as I'd like with Sation nailpolishes (Check out Sation - Garnet Red :) but also, this formula isnt Toluene or Formaldehyde free... major bummer :( My nails are thin and weak as they are.
