Okay the first two days, I didn't really see anything, which is acceptable! But, mmmm guuuuuuuurrrrl, my skin has cleared up SO MUCH in the 2 weeks. It's great. However, I do use this every night along with my Clearasil Serum for zits, and my Neutrogena moisterizer. These three products are really clearing up my face, I think. But, yes, this cleanser made a beautiful differance, and I reccomend it. Sooooo cheap, especially the amount if gives you! (-:

This is a nice basic cleanser, which doesn't irritate or dry out my skin. I feel like my face is really clean after I use it and it does a good job. I do prefer more of a cleansing milk, but this still made my skin feel soft and clean. No complaints!

It's a really soft lotion feel like face cleanser.

I started using this as part of my regiment to get rid of hormonal acne on face, it's the last product I use (last stage in cleansing) and I use this also as a body wash too as its so soft for my face it would be soft for body as well.

One of the most gentle and soft cleanser that doesn't irritate skin.
The gentle cleanser doesn't get foamy much - gentle oily cleanser does have foams and gives more of a cleansing feel to it. I used it both but gentle cleanser is much more gentler... :)

One of the recommendation for ppl with acne is to remove your makeup with oils like jojoba oil, extra virgin olive oil or sweet almond oil firstly and then finish up with this cleanser... :) your skin will feel like a baby's skin!!! Will definitely be my cleanser for a longggg time!

One of the only things I can use to wash my face because my skin is so sensitive. Doesn't break me out or dry my skin out.

It does remove some makeup, but I do have to use a makeup remover before I use it to make sure it all comes off.

I would definitely recommend if you have acne-prone, dry/sensitive skin! Worth trying. My HG cleanser!

I started using Cetaphil cleanser years ago when it was recommended to me by a dermatologist who was treating me for cystic acne. He actually recommended I apply this like lotion to soothe my skin.

My skin is on the dry side now so I don't wash with cleanser in the AM - just water. To remove my makeup, I use eye makeup remover (MAC or Clinique) to take off mascara, etc. Then I massage Cetaphil on my face, scrub gently with a warm washcloth and rinse with water. I don't understand why people say it doesn't remove makeup. Just as a test, I wiped my cheek with rubbing alcohol where I had blush and foundation before cleansing and it came off clean.

I get this at Costco - two huge bottles with pump applicator for something like $12. I see no need to purchase anything else (except for eye makeup removal)

I've been suffering from the worst breakout to date over the past few months but this cleanser is by far the best cleanser I have ever used! It doesn't remove your make up completely but I always take my make up off with Bioderma sensibio cleansing water first. Both of these products are great for sensitive skin and I haven't broke out once since I've been using these products. I would definitely recommend!

It doesn't remove foundation or any make up. Even after second wash, there are foundation residues on my face.. Although it is mild and non-irritating, I don't see the point of using it after makeup remover or another facial cleanser which can remove makeup.

As I am getting older my skin is becoming drier and more irritated, blotches, adult acne, fine lines, hyperpigmentation, sagging skin...you name it. I can not just use anything on my face. So during the day I wear a total coverage from Clinique and I have been on a crusade to find the right cleanser. I ended up with Cetaphil as it does not dry out my skin. But you do have to use it with a wash cloth to remove all make-up as it does not lather up. Which is OK anything that lathers up tends to be drying. I then use Dickinson's pore perfecting witch hazel toner to remove all traces of make-up and at night a good Sebamed moisturizer for sensitve skin. The result? Totally rejuvenated, moisturized skin and it seems to even out my skin tone as well even my fine lines are practically gone! This all without spending money up the ying yang. I know spend some more money on a nice department store sun screen during the day. I am a happy women now with great skin (according to some of my co-workers)

This product was recommended to me by my mom, when i was getting TERRIBLY dry skin on my face and was also reccomended to me by my doctor for help treating the exema (tiny little red bumps) on my arms.
First for my face: I have combination skin, that can go from oily to dry depending upon the products that I use. I have a strict skincare regimen that I follow for my face both morning and night- exfoliate, wash with a cleaner that usually has SA in it, followed by toner and eye and face creams/serums. All of the products I use, work wonderful... but I still had some patchy dry skin (more so in the wintertime) and it was irritating because dry skin is bad enough, but it sucks trying to blend makeup and apply evenly, when your skin is flaking off. My mom told me to save the strict regimen after my shower and before bed and then in the morning- wash my face with the cetaphil and apply only my day cream and nothing more. I started this and noticed a difference after a few days. This cleaner is as mild as it comes, there isnt a whole lot to it, just a thin milky cleaner that worked so well for me. It kept my dry skin in check, and made ny skin feel wonderful. Anyone ever feel like, even if you use the best products, stick to a sctrict cleaning schedule, follow all the directions... sometimes our skin just needs a break from alk of it. I think I was overloading my skin with all these products twice a day- and they do an excellent job... but my skin just needed some time to recover. This did just that for me. From now on, this is the cleaner that I use at least once a day (i fluctuate between using it day and night.)
I have a mild form of exema on my arms that seems to get a lot worse when my skin is dry. After having luck with this product and the dry skin on my face- my doctor ended up telling me to try it on my arms after an exfoliation. So i used an apricot scrub to exfoliate, cleaned the skin with the exema with the cetaphil, i took a washcloth and really washed it well and then when i got out of the shower I use vanilla and oatmeal baby lotion all over my arms for more moisture. The bumps are nearly gone after two weeks of using the cetaphil face wash. I believe they even have a cetaphil body wash, but I have a HUGE bottle- and no major difference between the two... so i used the face wash on my arms. I love this product, I swear by it. We all use so many products and toners, creams, scrubs, washes... that our skin just needs a break, and cetaphil does just that. it cleans the make up off, takes away the oil (and moisturizes at the same time), and makes my skin soft and feel so much better. I think every woman should try this... its so gentle and mild, i think it would work well with just about every skin type.

This is truly a do no harm cleanser. I actually tried the Target brand generic of this and there really is a difference. The actual Cetaphil is much creamier and not as watery as the Target brand.

After reading great reviews about it, I bought a set from Costco. I was excited to go home try it out, I tried it and it was just meh.... Just alone, it felt like my face was not really "clean". I had to use a second cleanser to "feel cleaner". I use it in the morning with my Clarisonic and its a bit better. Unlike what some reviews said, it does not remove makeup at all.

I was a little late on discovering Cetaphil, although it has been talked and talked about everywhere online and comes hugely recommended, I spent a long time not buying it before I eventually got round to getting it. Having been a sensitive/dry skin sufferer all my life I like my facial products to be caring for the dryness plus not heavily scented because I get terrible irritation to heavily perfumed things on my face. This is a nice product, it lives up to most of its claims, it is not scented, made my skin feel fairly smooth and soft, and definitely does not irritate or dry out my skin. I love the consistency too, it isn't too thick, its almost gel like and feels nice when applied to the skin. I wouldn't recommend this as a make up remover, I tried using it to take off my make up a few times and it didn't work very well at all. However if you are looking for a simple, gentle way to wake up your face every morning this works very well. Especially wonderful for those who suffer with easily irritated skin and I would most definitely recommend and buy again.

I really want to like Cetaphil, heck I really want to love Cetaphil. Everybody recommends this..from dermatologists to celebrities to coworkers. This is why despite unimpressive results I have used 3-4 Cetaphil cleansers over the past dozen years. But no more repurchasing for me, I just have to accept that the chosen one Cetaphil is not my HG. It leaves my skin dry and patchy. My skin doesn't feel clean afterwards it just feels stripped. My acne worsens and my skin just looks more irritated as a result of this product.

My whole life I've had some pretty serious skin issues... Redness, lots of acne, cystic acne, oily t-zone, dry/flaky spots, the list goes on.. I've tried hundreds of products since I was about 10, I'm now 18 and I can say that this product is the ONLY thing that has improved my skin and kept working even after using it for a long time. Since using this product, I've had less oil, breakouts only when it's my time of the month, no dryness, less redness... it makes my skin look good which is something I've never been able to say. I bought the cheap-o equate version of this and I believe it works just as well. What's even better is you can use it without water and it still works! Ladies, you really need to give this a shot!

This cleanser is great for my skin! I have sensitive/acne prone skin and it doesn't break me out. My skin can get dry from using my prescription gel for my acne, and this doesn't dry my skin out. It leaves it feeling soft and clean. When I use this with my clarisonic, my skin looks and feels amazing.

I don't use this cleanser anymore due to the price that it is at my local stores ($10) and I've found other stuff. But when I was in elementary school (LOL), I did and I really think this helped me not have major breakouts in my teen years (now). It's unscented and super gentle but gets down into the pores! I love and miss this! Brings back good childhood memories! Will have to repurchase! Nice that it comes with a pump too for less messiness!
