This shower gel comes in a black plastic bottle that is quite stilish. There ane no harmful ingredients listed in the content table, and Korres does not test on animals.
Inside, there is a clear gel of average consistence . It lathers well, and cleans hands of body without drying too much or leaving a film upon your skin (think dove).
Obviously it does not tone, moisturize or do anything else besides cleaning.
Now about the smell: WHERE did they get the idea that guavas smell like THAT? When I sniff the bottle or lather, I think coconut and maybe a hint of mango, it reminds me a lot of sundown sunscreen fragrance. Which is quite nice, to be sure, but again, tell me, WHERE IS THE GUAVA?!?!
Overall, If you want an average performance, eco conscious shower gel that smells of tropical coconut, go for it. As for myself, i wont get out of my way to buy this pricey equivocal smelling common showergel.

I really wish that i could see what all the hype was about this Guava shower gel, to me it smells very little of guava and very much of coconut (I'm not usually a fan of anything that smells like coconut) .. this is very nice on the skin and there is enough lather that i do feel clean and fresh, i just don't like the scent, however my partner loves the scent and it fades almost instantly after you shower, so since my partner loves it, he is more than welcome to use it! haha.
I want to try the jasmine one but who knows... it might smell like bananas or something random like the Guava one does! .. not a re-purchase for me Im afraid.

This is my first korres product to use i got it in my october birchbox. I wasnt too impressed with the smell and i noticed it faded quickly when i was all dry. It did make me feel really clean and i could possibly like it more the more i use it.

This was my first Korres shower gel and I love it. I find it very moisturizing. The scent does not bother me at all. I use this in conjunction with the body and lip butters and my skin stays in great condition when I use these. I find them all moisturizing without being greasy at all. Love them and will repurchase. The set sold on HSN ends up being a great value.

I really liked this shower gel! It smells like gummy bears to me, and lathers quite nicely. I certainly felt really clean afterwards! The only reason I'm not going to repurchase this is I have way too many shower gels right now to go through - I don't feel the need to spend more money on another bottle of this when I have loads to finish first.

I love the fruity coconut scent. It creates a nice lather, and the scent lingers on your skin after showering. I know when my husband has used this because the guava scent wafts throughout the house ( a definite plus). This is one of the great natural products.

Simply put, this is my holy grail shower gel. I love love love the scent, the nice lather it gives, and that it lightly moisturizes my skin. It's also a great natural product, no parabens or sulfates or anything like that! If they ever run out of this scent I don't know what I'll do! I love using this in the shower then following up with the Guava body butter. I wish they made a perfume or body spray of this stuff then my fragrance needs would be complete lol. It may be expensive, but definitely worth it for me.

I love the Guava scent! It's divine. I got a generous sample of this shower gel a few weeks ago, I've been using it lately and have fallen in love with it. I follow up with Guava body butter.
The scent can be described as fruity (but not synthetic-fruity), fresh and definitely not over-the-top. It's definitely my cup of tea. It's quite moisturizing and overall a very good shower gel. However, if I had to only buy the body butter or the shower gel I'd choose the body butter cause it's even better (and the scent last longer on your body).

I love the smell of this... I can not get enough of it.. unfortunatly the smell does not stay long enough to make a difference...I do not think it is moisturizing enough either... I have never, even in the summer, gone without lotion for this product... I do wish they could make it last more.... Also I hate the packaging..Anything for the shower should be in a pump bottle... It is too hard trying to locate the top everytime... That said I will continue to purchase the body butter as I love that.

This smells so good! Quality that's worth the price, wont dry skin and itchy.
i do love all kinds Korres showder gel as well as their body butter and body milk. Guava is my HG i've been using them years, would definitely re-purcahse anytime. Really want their body care line in a larger size, 500ml shower gel would be amazing.

Over the years, I've gotten many samples of Guava Shower Gel and although I always use them, I've never been entirely satisfied with this product and would never buy it. It doesn't lather up enough. Normally, I use Philosophy 3-in-1s and I prefer their foamy nature.
The gel does smell wonderfully but wears off almost immediatly after leaving the shower. Possibly following up with the Guava Body Butter would be the best solution to that!
Ask Sephora for a sample!

This smells fabulous. I also originally got it as a sample, and I enjoyed it so much in the shower that I hunted it down and purchased even though I was originally hesitant because of the cost. I normally hate coconut smells, but this one is divine!

My favourite shower gel!
In fact, the only one I have repurchased ever! And will continue to do so over and over. I got a sample with a mail order and was very unexcited about it. I tossed it in my holiday toiletry bag in preparation for a vacation. Well.. I was blown away... and coincidentally, as my holiday was in Greece (the birth place of Korres), I went to every Greek pharmacy I could find to get my hands on a few bottles... but almost everywhere it was sold out! Thankfully I still got my hands on a couple of bottles... (now it is available in the city where I live, or else I would order it online that's how much I love it!)
The smell is simply divine... absolutely amazing! As opposed to most "exotic" smells in cosmetics this one is so naturally delicious as opposed to synthetic. It smells like real fruit... very subtle, fresh and feminine...
It's quite moisturising too. I don't believe in all the anti-ageing stuff because I don't think anything you put on your skin for such a short time can have deliver any real benefit... but who cares? I'm not looking for anti-ageing properties in my shower gel. I buy this for the scent and the sheer pleasure it gives me whenever I shower.

Smells very yummy! The scent fades quickly, which can be a good or a bad things depending on whether you want to wear perfume that day or not. The anti-aging claims that it will “stimulate collagen and elastin synthesis” seem really, terribly far-fetched to me. It’s a good shower gel, but I wouldn’t count on it to do much more than clean. I won’t be repurchasing this because over time it dried out my skin… I think it’s because of the very high (it’s the second ingredient) sodium laureth sulfate content. Avoid this if you have sensitive skin.

This product will make a Korres convert of you! Once you take a whiff you'll be transported to a tropical paradise in "Calgon, take me away!" fashion. I love this delicious showergel which also makes a tubfull of glorious bubbles and leaves your skin soft and pampered. According to the label, wheat proteins form a protective film on the skin and help maintain the skin's moisture barrier. I find I can skip body moisturizer after a dip in this, or use a lightweight lotion instead of my usual body butters. I don't put faith in the promise, "helps reduce the visible signs of ageing," as one quick peek in the mirror post shower reveals, but it's nontheless a very nice product. Size is 8.45 oz./250 ml for the reasonable price of $13.00, in a heavy plastic, shower friendly bottle with a flip top cap . Even better is that these pop up at TJ Maxx occasionally where they can be purchased for around $4.00.

You'll want to stick a straw in this bottle and take a drink. That's how juicy this item smells. Aside from the inticing scent, this is a great moisturizing shower gel. Unlike most of the high-priced fancy smelling shower gels , this doesn't leave your skin smelling like the product all day or leave your skin dry. The gel comes out nice and thick, so you dont need a lot to make a lather. I just wish the bottle were easier to squeeze out, starts to get harder when its half full and putting it upside is not an option, since the top lid is too small to balance.

I love Korres shower gels. They leave your skin feeling silky and soft. My favorite is the Almond. I usually find them at Marshalls for far less than the retail price. However, of all the shower gels I have tried - and there are many - I would likely pay full price for this luxurious product.

this wash left my skin utterly amazing! it is a creamy wash that satill manages to have a good amount of foam. it has a nice light fruity scent which hung around for a couple hours but wasn't overpowering and didn't compete with any other product that i had on. it left my skin silky and hydrated. the packaging is quite nice. i will buy this wash, other washes in the other scents, and the matching body butter. i'm converted to the greeks!

My HG shower gel, I love the smell, I love the texture, it's the perfect thing to wake me up in the morning but also relaxes me at night. I don't know quite how it does that, but it does. Refreshing, tropical, perfect for summer or dreams of summer. Turned me into quite a fan of Korres!
