Pros: tiny little scrubs, feels like a good exfoliant, no break outs from using it
Cons: smell is waaaay too powerful, had to use my fingers because the applicator it comes with is just too rough and dingy, didn't seem to do anything that an ordinary scrub wouldn't do

I bought this based on the reviews here and knowing it was discontinued. I agree that it is a good scrub - a cream with very fine scrubbies in it. I personally didn't think the scent was strong or offfensive. I also didn't use the included cheapo plastic applicator, but just used my fingers to massage it on.
Since this has been discontinued, I have a suggestion for those looking for a good scrub. Take your favorite cleanser and add a dusting of baking soda to it. I did this with my Purpose liquid cleanser - this really reminded me of the Ponds Purely Polished. Read all of the reviews for baking soda on MUA - you will be amazed at how people love this cheap kitchen product.

Overall, this is a good exfoliating microdermabrasion scrub. Its gentle and works pretty well. The things I didn't like were- its highly fragranced, and Im sensitive to strong scents. Its also in a tub...which I hate. A more hygenic squeeze tube would have been better. Given those issues and that and I am having a horrible time finding this stuff and had to buy it on ebay ( I'm assuming its been discontinued, at least where I live) I won't be seeking out another one. On to the next...

I bought it after reading the rave reviews here and on drugstore.com. Not working for me. I broke out from it. Every time I use it in the evening, the next morning I get some small zits, not seriousm but annoying. I do use a cleaser before and after using the product, but nope, the whole jar is sitting there

Love, Love, Love the way this makes my skin feel. Can't necessarily say that it is making any "major" changes in my skin, but, I do feel really invigorated after using it. I actually enjoy using the little sponge that comes with it. I feel like it sloughs off dead skin better than just using my hands.

I used to get microdermabrasion done weekly and this replaces it just fine. I never really noticed any major changes with microdermabrasion either. I just feel really clean after using this product. Unfortunately, the only place I can buy it is online at drugstore.com Very inexpensive though.

Best scrub I've tried. It has lots of very fine grit, so it gently polishes rather than scratches. It is so full of grit that a little goes a long ways, and the product lasts a long time. It was easier to apply and control using fingers than the little sponge applicator that comes with it. Unfortunately it is no longer available in the drug stores I shop at.

This is the best facial scrub I have used so far. It's much better than L'Oreal's version and less expensive. The crystals are very fine and the applicator helps the exfoliating process. I've been using this product for about two weeks and my skin is definitely smoother and more even toned. My only complaint would be with how the product is dispensed. You have to wet the sponge and dip it into the jar which, over time, seems like it could introduce bacteria. However, I haven't noticed anything so far. Overall, I would recommend this to my friends.

This is my first review on MUA.
I don't try as many products as most of you, but what I do try I'm rarely impressed with.
I've been wanting to get professional microdermabrasion for a while now but I can't afford it. I haven't been willing to try any of the other home dermabrasion products because of the price and me being so cynical I just assumed they wouldn't do much.
The price of this one was too good to resist. I ordered it and it just arrived today. I've only used it once but I really, really, really liked it! This is exactly what I've been wanting in a scrub for years. The difference in this and something like apricot scrub is like sanding wood with a fine grit sandpaper VS a handful of pebbles. It's fine enough and the amount of grains is dense enough that it actually performs! I'm super excited about it and hope I don't end up having any unwanted side effects.
The only complaint I have with it is the fragrance....it ought to be illegal to put this much perfume in a skin care product.

I love this product! It makes my skin super smooth without making my face red or break out. One box of this will last for quite a few months. I will not switch from this unless I'm forced to. Many poducts from this same line with Pond's have been discontinued. I'm worried this product too is being discontinued as it is becoming hard to find. I did run into it at my local grocery store yesterday for $3! So, I stocked up.

This stuff is the bomb! Easy to use in the shower or bath, makes your skin soft and with regular use cleans up alot of problems. My sporadic breakouts are a thing of the past and those fine lines by my mouth and on my forehead look MUCH better. It is kind of hard to find in drugstores. But you can find it on Drugstore.com. Highlyrecommended!

Is this being discontinued? :( This is the only scrub I can use without turning red or breaking out. I've had it for a while and it really does take months to finish. I think I'll try to find some more so I can stock up

Amazing stuff! I got this after reading all of the great reviews here. I wasn't expecting much from this product since it was so inexpensive, but it works wonders on my skin. Leaves it smooth and glowing. I have been using it 3 times per week and definitely have noticed big improvements in my skin.

Based from the reviews on this board I bought it and I must say I LOVE IT!! I have tried Origins Modern Friction and Neutrogena's Microdermabrasion and this is by the best. It rinses off with ease and left my complexion glowing. It is gentle enough to use everyday and it is sooooo much cheaper and works better than similar products.

This product is great! I read about it on here and bought it a while ago but didn't really use it - I am getting married in 3 weeks and my skin has been looking dull and discolored lately (from stress and lack of sleep) - took this back out and started using it and I have that pink glow and my skin feels softer than EVER!

Amazing product! Highly recommed it! :-)

Thanks MUA for another great recommendation!!

I suffer from acne so I have been using harsh products for years. I'm only twenty and suffer from uneven skin tone and terrible patches of dry skin. I have used this product only four times and people are already telling me that my skin looks much better and that it looks like I have a glow. My skin texture is smoother than ever. I also havent had any breakouts. It leaves my skin super soft. It is also half the prices of other kits and comes with like four times more. It is one of the best things I have ever bought for my face. It is definitely worth a try.
EDIT: Sigh, so sad that this is such a pain to find. I was purchasing it for like a few bucks for a while though and even gave a couple away to friends they were so cheap. Its depressing but I had to move on to sugar. If you can find this baby you're a lucky gal.

I saw this in a clearance basket at Ralph's for $5.00. I decided to give it a try, based on the reviews I have seen here. I really like it. It's a very fine grain, and doesn't irritate my skin like some others. I'm going back tomorrow to stock up if there are any more left. What a deal!!

I bought this for the first time on drugstore.com, wanting to try a new scrub product for my face. I just reordered, this has become a HG product for me. I saw improvement almost immediately -- my skin was softer and so smooth! With regular use (about 4 days a week), I finally got rid of a problem with breakouts along my jawline related to stress/hormones. The pores on my nose consistently look clean as well. One jar lasted for months! This is the last step of my cleansing process. Great product, great price. Also -- I use my fingers instead of the applicator, works better and I use less product.

This product is very gentle; I have mild rosacea, and it seems to help the tone and texture of my skin versus irritating it. It is so gentle, in fact, that I can use it 3-4 times per week if I wish, with no ill effects. You also receive a large amount of product for the price. I bought mine recently at Target on clearance; my sister got it on clearance at another Target in a different part of the U.S. So, if you're interested in trying it, I'd recommend checking Target this month for clearance prices.

I simply adore this product. It is a pleasantly scented cream base that contains a ton of very fine polyethylene beads. It comes with a sponge applicator but I always massage it in with my fingertips. This product leaves my skin soft and smooth just as if I used professional grade aluminum oxide or magnesium oxide. I have the professional grade microderms from MUAC, Avon Clinical, Zia (UGH!) and Derma E. I like this much better because of the high amount of microbeads and the fact that thery are so fine. I would rather *sand* my face with a fine sandpaper than a coarser one if you know what I mean. The results are going to be softer and smoother skin. It comes in a huge 4 oz container. I usually re-wash my face to remove any residue. Truly one of the best products I have discovered in years.
