I think Positano is a shimmery version of Chantaco to be honest. They are so similar and I own both!!! This again is a deeper brownish berry (maybe with a bit more red to it than Chantaco) but is definitely for darker skintones or darker haired girls.
As with all NARS glosses, they last ages and have no smell.

Positano is one of my favorite lip products. This is described as cinnamon rose. If I had to choose only 5 lip color products I would choose this as one of them, so for me it's definately perfection. Looks great on me (light skin, dark hair and eyes). Love NARS glosses.

I love the color of Positano- on my pale, cool toned skin, it's a medium berry shade. However, that's about all I like about this gloss. For as much as NARS costs, I expect my gloss to last more than just an hour, and not bleed past my lip line (especially when I use a lip liner to stop it!) It's such a shame, cause this was the perfect berry shade for me.....maybe I will keep experimenting and see if I can come up with a way to make this gloss work better for me.

I was never much of a lipgloss fan until I was lucky enough to score a NARS Mini Lip Lacquer palette in a swap. I immediately fell in love with Butterfield 8 and used up the pan pretty quickly. The Lip Lacquer formula is nice, but I found having to apply with a lip brush or my finger to be a pain in the butt so I wanted to find a similar color with a more user-friendly applicator. I went straight to NARS and knew right away that Positano was exactly what I was looking for. I have pigmented lips and it's the perfect MLBB color (a rosey mauve with a slight brown undertone) with just a hint of shimmer to give it a bit of drama that lights up my entire face. The formula is also nice -- not sticky or too shiny -- and it feels great on my lips. It's much easier to use than Butterfield 8 and a bit prettier, too!

NARS lip glosses are great because they aren't sticky, however they are a bit runny. The color Positano is a dark rose color with a small hint of a brown tone. It gives a strong and slightly dark rosy lip color. Nice when you want a bit more pigment to the lips without being bright. Overall a nice dark YLBB color with moderate lasting power.

This may be the lipgloss I've long searched for, a fantastic MLBB shade. I was looking for something a shade or two lighter than NARS Stella that was versatile for a variety of occasions. Positano is a rosy mauve with a slight shimmer. I apply it lightly for everyday, but it also works great for evening.
The one problem is that the wand tends to come unscrewed, so I've had a couple of near-leaks, but I've found that seems to be an issue with most NARS glosses...
