I really really really really...(takes a breath) really really really like this concealer for under the eyes.

After using the bobbi brown corrector for years whilst my skin was oily, my skin started getting dry as I got older & started using retin a, I found that it wasn't hydrating enough & for rushed mornings I can't be bothered putting on eye creams in the morning. But this LM concealer is just emollient enough to not crepe under the eyes without eye cream. It gives my eyes a lift & awakeness with the Dewey effect.

Plus its not too peachy like the Bobbi Brown one, again with my laziness I can't be bothered layering a concealer over my under eye corrector. The sc is just enough peachiness to counteract the under eyes darkness alone and blending in with the rest of the face colour without having to cover over the peachiness (if you get what I mean).

Another plus is the packaging, nice and simple, no bulkiness like Benefit erase paste. Its perfect for travel.

I'm nc30 nowadays and use SC in #2 for reference under my eyes. while Bobbi brown corrector was good to me (and still is), I've converted to LM Secret Concealer as a HG.

Asides from the un-natural shades for my neutral skin, this product was greasy, sheer, and disappeared into fine lines. This concealer did not even last 1 hour and no matter what I tried my under eye circles were staring right back at me. Their 'secret' for this concealer must be that it does not have great coverage or last whatsoever. If you are in my situation and can not leave the house with at least putting on concealer this product will not help you ):

I so wanted to love this product, discover my HG under-eye concealer, and live happily ever after. Sadly all that happened after I opened the tiny pot of orange-khaki grease, which looked OK under my eyes for about a split second, was that it seemed to dramatically darken my under-eye shadows, emphasize about a million lines I didn't even know I had, and slid straight off my face and become invisible. As if by magic! So, it's safe to say I'm afraid that the hunt for the HG under-eye concealer continues...

Secret Camouflage is almost an exact duplicate for Tarte's Dark Circle Defense concealer, which is now discontinued. Secret Camouflage is an emollient (moisturizing) concealer that tends to come in pinky-orange shades. The warm shade range allows this concealer to counteract the cool, blue/purple/green shades that make up dark circles fairly effectively. Overall, I feel that this does an o.k. job of concealing, but you might need to reapply after several hours of wear.

Unfortunately, the moisturizing properties of this concealer are also it's achilles heel. The amount of slip this has allows it to simply fade away to nothing on my somewhat oily skin after several hours, even though my undereye area isn't very oily at all! The amount of slip in the concealer will let it migrate everywhere else, no matter how carefully you blend this over your discolored areas and then set it. This also doesn't work well with other concealers, and tends to flake off or even crack when set with powder, which just looks terrible. When you blend on a thin layer, it isn't quite pigmented enough to effectively cover your dark circles. This also tends to collect in any little creases or folds in your skin, and can also collect around your eyelashes. This can be easily blended away though. If you're willing to carry a pot of makeup and reapply on the fly, regardless of contamination risk, this might be a good option.

I do feel that this concealer would be a good option for dry-skinned women in a dry climate with mild dark circles and few wrinkles around the eye area. I think this would have a tendency to melt in humid climates, migrate everywhere on people with oily skin, and crease into wrinkles after a few hours on people with any little creases.

I wanted to love this concealer because it looks great after applying it! It matches my skin tone pretty well, but after a few minutes (or even an hour) it actually makes me dark circles look purple =( It also fades away pretty fast even after applying loose powder to help set it.. SAD! I loved how natural this looked on my skin - but i'm still on the hunt for my HG concealer!

This is by far the best concealer I have tried.
The coverage is perfect on both spots and especially the under eye area. My eye bags are hereditary and HUGE! It is so hard to find a concealer which does the job of covering them up. This does not eliminate them 100% like a miracle but pretty close. I used to still get comments about how tired I look when using previous concealers but when I wear this no one tells me I look tired and I've even been complimented about how fresh my face looks.
The texture is creamy and easy to apply and doesnt cake up under the eyes or crease.
I am so thankful to have found this and will continue to purchase again and again.
It is a high end make up product, which I try to avoid sticking to a working students budget but I will happily pay the $35(AU) for this concealer because it does such an amazing job and while the pot looks small it lasts a good amount of time.

This was the concealer that the girl at Sephora recommended for my wedding, and I've been buying it ever since. It's not dry and chalky like some that I've tried- it goes on very smoothly and covers my under eye area very well (the only area I use it for). Definitely the best concealer I've used.

C5/C6 NC44 BBWarm Honey/Golden LM Caramel for reference. I love this concealer, it's very soft and not as sticky as the Bobbi Brown concealer I used to have which actually hurts the delicate skin under my eyes while patting. This is so soft, it goes on like a dream and 4 is the perfect color for me. I have a "natural smoky eye" (that's what I like to call it) and this brightens my look instantly and doesn't settle in lines. Great!!

This in shade #2 is my HG fall/winter under eye concealer. It seems to have a bit of eye creme or moisturizer mixed in (VERY creamy) so in the summer it doesn't stay put. But in the WINTER it is perfect!

I have used lancome, trish, YSL, cle de peau (WAY too dry). At under 30 dollars this is a steal! Definitely a desert island product for me and in my top five favorite items. I have hereditary darkness, work crazy hours and travel for a living, I NEVER look rested. The minute I put this on I look 5 years younger and it never creases or gets cakey, also it LASTS all day (a huge plus for my schedule).

One important note: this is for undereyes only. If you use this for the face (where it is not intended) you may break out. The secret camoflage is the concealer they make for the face. My SA was very clear about this.

HOLY C&*#@!

I have suffered from extremely dark under eye circle all my life. They are so bad that without makeup, I look like I've got two black eyes. I have used Bobbie Brown corrector/concealer for years now and although it did a good job, that blue/purple circles were still somewhat noticeable. I thought that that was the best I was going to get. Until today when I went to go pick up more corrector at Sephora and came up with the GENIUS idea to ask the sales lady if she recommended any other brands for under eye concealers. I have been using Bobbie for so long, I wondered if I had missed anything else. So after trying benefit, makeup 4 ever and Yves Saint Laurent to no avail, we tried this concealer. The sales girl applied it on pretty light, so I didn't see any difference and decided that I would just go back to Bobbie. But when she left I globbed more Laura Mercier on under my eyes. It took a couple fingertip scoops and blended. But holy crap! It covered EVERYTHING. No blue/purple lines showed trough. SOLD! I look like a healthy normal person now! And it's now the end of the day and the concealer is still going strong and no crease or cakey. So...it only took me 10 years but I have finally found my HG concealer. Plus, I don't have to buy a corrector & concealer now. I would recommend anyone who suffers from dark circles to give this a try. It's creamy, thick and you definitely need to put a lot on (but if you have dark circles you know your going to need FULL coverage). I'm in love!

I have No.2 . Indeed the texture is very creamy, it sort of covers my dark eye circles, but after a few hours it turns orangey and I'll have to apply a different lighter concealer to correct the colour.
I was charged more than the price the sales assistant quoted me (in AU). Emailed Laura Mercier customer service, they dont seem to care - no reply at all.

This concealer has a very creamy consistency (more liquidy than a powder I guess?) which I love. I think it covers current acne great. However, it does get absorbed by a few hours so if you have a pimple with a gigantic whitehead in it, it will be more prominent so perhaps a reapply (instead of a topup!) is needed. It also cakes up if you apply too much, so just dab a bit onto any acne/scarring. It's also very noticeable if you apply too much under the eye area/dark circles. This being said, it does blend in well with my skintone (I'm an NC25 and have this in 02 I believe) so it is my current go-to until I find my ultimate HG concealer.

This product is absolutely amazing. I have very dark circles which this product covers it right up. Texture is very creamy but recommend that you use a good moisturizing eye cream underneath as the concealer can look caked on at the of the day.

So far this is one of my favorite under eye concealers next to Bobbi Brown and Armani. It's very creamy so it doesn't go on dry looking. However, you have to be careful not to put too much on or it will look too creamy and crease.

I am bias towards Laura Mercier products as they are one of the only brands that match the tone of my skin.

I have visible vein lines, puffiness and bags under my eyes and therefore I have been in search of a HG concealer that will help cover all of the problems above. I first started using the Mac concealer but I didnt like it as I felt it was too thick, didnt blend properly and ended up showing visible dryness under my eyes. I then switched to YSL touch eclat which didnt give the dryness but it didnt give the coverage that I wanted and I was also told by a MUA not to use touche eclat under eyes with eyebags as it tends to emphasize instead of hiding the eyebags. I never had any problems with this concealer it blends and covers the problem areas perfectly and I use it in conjunction with the laura mercier secret brightening powder.(Check out my review for that as well) I also use it to cover pimples although its meant to be used only under the eyes and I feel that it also covers the pimples giving me flawless look.

I use it all over the under-eye area. With my hereditary dark circles, I first use a green cover stick on the darkest part. It lasts well and does not accentuate fine lines.

I would rate it a 5, but it is quite expensive. I don't mind the finger application because I always wash well before putting on makeup. I may try a drug store brand next time I run out to see if it works just as well.

i bought this at sephora about 2 days ago in #2...i've always had extremely dark circles under my eyes (due to severe allergies etc). i love how creamy and how the tiniest amount will cover it all up. i think i would say i've tried almost every type of concealer known to man lol...but this is now my "go to". i'll probably do another comment in about a month or so letting y'all know how i still enjoy or hate it lol...but i doubt i'll hate it.

I have massively dark undereye circles, and my undereye area tends to be dry. I don't have too much in the way of fine lines, but most concealers end up accentuating them in me by the end of the day. Ever since my beloved Dior Moisturizing concealer was discontinued, I was on a mission to find a replacement.

I went to multiple cosmetics counters yesterday to try out some MUA favorites (tried Dior Hydrating - pretty good, not enough coverage, shiseido natural finish - more drying than dior with worse coverage, mac - mineralise had a great natural finish, but not enough coverage and why doesn't it come in NC25? NC 20 was too light and NC 30 was too dark; and pro longwear (great coverage, again no colour match for me)). I've also been using Benefit erase paste recently - reasonable coverage and nice natural finish, but slides off like crazy by the end of the day.

Eventually went to Sephora and tried this. Loved it right away. It has the creamy consistency I love, and a nice natural finish. Staying power is the best of any concealer I've tried (I always use setting powder). The coverage is great. It doesn't cover my dark circles entirely, but it does a reasonable job. I used shade 2 for my NC25 skin.

Edit: I've since found a better concealer with better staying power and coverage - Lancome effances waterproof. love! I also got lazy about using setting powder; it's too much work. I also found the staying power of this concealer was terrible in hot and humid weather. I've downgraded the rating of this LM concealer to a 4 as a result.
