OMG this product does NOT work for me, I am AA with combo skin. Every time that I used this product I broke out in a tiny rash... so I am giving (yes ladies, GIVING) it away its been sitting in my make-up drawer for over a month collecting dust. So the first person who inboxes me (US mailing addresses only) is going to save $34.50 (that's what I paid at Saxs off Fifth outlet for this product). I am giving it away!!! latoya77@gmail.com. ps/ the NYX pore filler worked wayyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy better and could be purchased at ULTA for $13.

I have a love/hate relationship with this product. I use it as a primer on my nose/T-zone before applying foundation (as my T-zone tends to go oily during the day)- and this serum does seem to make my skin stay matte longer. However, this serum seems to cause little bumps on my skin when I use it for too many days in a row... so with that being said, it's NOT a HG product for me. But until I find a better alternative, I'll be using this.

This goes on my good, not great product list. It works more like a primer/base for makep by mattifying the skin and reducing the appearance of pores. I highly doubt it actualy will reduce your pores physicly as all dermatologists they this can't be done.

I love this serum :) I had a 18ml deluxe sample of this product. As written in the website, 'A lightweight lotion that immediately minimises the appearance of enlarged pores due to excess sebum production or from aging and the breakdown in the collagen lattice.' For some reason, the serum has small white precipitates but smoothes on over the face. I use this all over the face with just an extra dab on my cheeks where my pores are obvious. It sinks in rather well, and I'll just use my tinted moisturizer over it and continue with putting on makeup on my face. My pores did appear smaller, but I don't really know if its due to this serum, or that during the time when I used this, I ate a lot of fruits which improved my skin condition overall. In those few days, I can actually get away with just tinted moisturizer and loose powder and I am all set! This deluxe sample managed to last me 3 months in total, with twice a day usage. Honestly, I don't know if the effects of pore minimizing is just temporary or permanent, and an online search yield no results. This was packaged in Clinique's pale pink and green colours, and it leaked a little in its tube when stored upright, but it does not affect me. I had not really tried other serums so far, so I don't know how good is this as compared to other products on the market. I will recommend this serum to anybody who wants a quality pore minimizer, and I will repurchase this when I finish other random treatments and serums in my skincare stash :)

Mattifies and refines pores for the first couple of hours. Doesnt seem to have any lasting effect.

Love it. Minimizes pores and leaves a nice matte finish ready for foundation. Clears my skin up too. Overall it's amazing! Very expensive. The price is somewhat of a deterrent to purchasing again but the product is excellent.
UPDATE! As i kept using this, it started to break me out and it stopped minimizing pores. I felt like i had a film on my face the entire day. Will NOT be repurchasing.

To me, this product didn't really minimize pores, it sort of worked like a primer. It masked over oily skin and smoothed it out while filling in my pores.

I'm not a dermatologist but I think it's actually impossible to "minimize" pores because it's your skin. So, you can't actually shrink your skin. You can make it appear a certain way but you can't minimize it.

Apparently Clinique doesn't make this product anymore but I hope it will stay on the market for a bit longer.
It gives a matte finish, it is not drying, it smells nice, sometimes I wear it alone, without moisturizer (I don't wear makeup) without any problems (like drying), it covers the pores but doesn't clog them, it doesn't make my face shiny and if I have a red or white patch on my face, this product will cover it and heal it.
Very good product. I will buy it again (if I will find it). Maybe the new one is better.

I should start this review by saying I have terribly sensitive skin. I put this allover my face and within minutes my face felt very dry and irritated. It stung a bit so I washed it off. Too bad.

I got this free with purchase, and let me tell you I will never use it again. I have visible pores between my eyebrows, and it was free so I figured, hey why not. I now know the answer to that rhetorical question; because I will break the fridge out. Between my eyebrows there is anywhere from 12 to 18 little painful bumps invading my skin. Luckily they're clearing up now with the cortisone cream I got, but I couldn't even wear my glasses they were so painful. Definitely stay away if you have sensitive skin.

on my anual make skin better quest I realized that I had developed more visible pores which I had overlooked previously -- time, age, and hormones I would guess.

I have been using this for the past 3 weeks and see my skin is more like glass -- poreless, unlined, and very smooth. Obviously I have upped all of my skin procedures such as exfoliation, hydration and better removal of mu at night.. I have done this before. But now, I added this product which has captured my love and loyalty.

it is, for me the road paver for almost perfect looking skin -- even at my age.

I had used this for about 5 months before I realized it is the main product that caused me broke out so much!!! I read the ingredients and was totally shocked: TALC - my No.1 enemy!!! Why on Earth do they use TALC on a skincare products? pores treatment especially, which you put on where you have biggest pores and most easily get acne. OMG, I hate it!!

This may seem expensive but once you've bought it you will have it for a long time. I like it because it makes my pores smaller, it leaves my skin soft and helps a little with keeping oily skin at bay though I wouldn't say it is the main purpose for using this product.

For longterm results you have to use this religiously every evening. I use the same amount as 1 1/2 almonds, because it absorbs so quickly into the skin, gently patting it into my skin focusing on the T-zone. Come winter I switch to Nuxe Crème Fraiche Serum.

I managed to get this at Gatwick Airport for a cheaper price(taxfree wohoo). It was the last one they had(lucky me) because Clinique is about to rebottle this with a pump as a dispenser, a dear friend told me.

I've been using this twice a day for a few weeks now.
Pros:
- The biggest pores on my nose are tighter.
- It leaves the skin really smooth and slightly shimmery.
Cons:
- It doesn't seem to reach the tiny but clogged pores.

I was so excited to use this product especially as the SA was very promising and even guaranteed results however I have not seen any of the effects she was talking about! Like most people, i felt it smooth on my skin and even gave a slight shimmering appearance. It had a very similar consistency to primers. I put on in the morning and by the time I got home there were little bumps wherever I had spread the serum in the morning! Seems very suspicious that I am getting spots wherever I used this serum so I am blaming this product! Unsprisingly I won't be buying it again and will be returning it on my next shopping trip!

Realy minimized my big pores, but I had a terrible allergy to it, pimples and break out, so I had to stop to use it. I gave it to my mom to try, she was so satisfied so that she has already bought 4th tube. It has a little bit watery texture which I don't like. You need very small amount to cover T-Zone, so it lasts for a long time.

For a pricey product at least it does what it's supposed to. It smoothes out skin and is instantly mattifying. However what it basically does is cover/fill up pores and therefore I do not believe it should be worn at night as I have noticed that when I did not take this off properly I had 1 or 2 small white bumps appear on my t-zone.

For my skin (combination/oily) the oil still shows through in separate tiny drops on a day out and so blotting is necessary. Overall I love the matte effect it created but I believe there are cheaper products that can do the same! As such I'd probably not repurchase.

Edit 25/8/09: I've stopped using this. It clogged my pores and the oil control was abysmal compared to when I wore my Skin79 Super+ Triple Functions bb cream (pink) on it's own!

I came across this after not-so-pleasing results with Clinique pore minimizer instant perfector. This one is totally different. It makes my skin so smooth, the pores -at least smaller ones- disappear completely. It has a dewy touch, and is a great base for make-up. Actually, I even get better results with the instant perfector after this one, and on lucky days, I can go out after these two, without further coverage with the foundation.

My new love!
I bought it to make my pores look better under my foundation, and it works great for that, and at the same time, FOR ME, it has made my pores smaller, and my husband used to comment that they were big, and he has even noticed a difference. after 2 weeks.
Love this!
I will definitely will buy it again!
