I can’t believe all this negative reviews!!! This product is phenomenal! When I first read the reviews, I had to wonder if people are describing a different product; for example – smell. This product doesn’t even smell at all! Another example – pump. This product doesn’t even have a pump. It’s a small metal tube with the screw in cap. It is a very light, easy to apply cream that is not supposed to be worn anywhere near the sunlight – due to the RETINOL! I did not wash it off one morning and wore it outside - several hours later got purple dots all over my eyes (to remove them, I stopped use of this cream and just used average gentle moisturizer for one month)
When I first bought it, I applied it only to one eye in order to see the results. Two weeks later I saw that eye looking more awake with no fine lines – more of an open eye look. I loved it so much that started applying it every night, for about three months. My eyes looked much younger, but started to look whiter then the rest of the face (raccoon eyes). So, if you are in the sunny part of the world, you may want to use it for couple of months, and then switch to something else, then return to it later and so on. Either way you have to switch out your face products, because the face adjusts to the chemicals and they stop being effective.
For those people who have reactions to this product – I am not surprised, after all this particular cream has lots of strong chemicals that actually make a difference. If you are looking for a gentle not effective cream – this one is not for you! (Milia, by the way, appears when you over apply the product. This tube prevents this problem, because it lightly dispenses the cream in tiny amounts)
Price – yes, it’s expensive, but the tube lasts over six months. I think it’s worth it!!!

Quite a good eye cream for both moisturizing and firming, the tube lasts a long time. It really is a great cream for the dry sides of the eye area and prevents wrinkles from forming. I've been using it for a year and still have more than half of the tube left, so it is expensive but lasts a really long time. Great product.

The Cle de Peau counter caught my eyes, everything looks so pretty. Decided to try their eye cream after disappointing results from the previous brand. Sold off by the SA telling me all the wonderful results and that it is their best product by far. Naturally, she neglect to inform me of the price which was heart stopping.

I wouldn't say the result is amazing but my dark eye circles did improve, if only minimally. But it absorps very well into my sensitive skin so I'm going to give them credits for it.

Will I buy it again? Maybe, if I have the extra cash.

I really love this intense moisturising eye cream, it has a slight firming effect also, this is great if you have very dry under-eyes. It is very expensive, but it should last a long time, you need so little, and you don't have to keep replying or feel dry again after an hour.

A lot of eye creams that I have used over the years, left me dry, soon after, even those expensive ones, and I have tried the inexpensive ones as well, I tried many eyecreams, lol. The only other one that comes close is Shiesedo's (same company) Benefience eyecream.

I don't even know where to begin. I was talked into purchasing this from Barney's (damn those salespeople). I had reservations about it from the beginning, but was promised wonderful things. I hate the smell, but thought I could deal with it if it worked for me. Right now I am holding back tears because under both eyes is peeling and flaking so badly I can't even wear concealer to try and cover the whole mess up. It's as if it sucked the little moisture I had right out from under my eyes. I am marching my ass right back there tomorrow and demanding a full refund for this and the Cle de Peau concealer and blush. I have heard and read so many wonderful things about this brand and the price should warrant decent products, but they are definitely not for me. I know the salesman said it was supposed to gently "exfoliate" and get rid of the dryness but it has so seriously exacerbated the dryness under my eyes that i am frantically trying to figure out what use next (any suggestions are welcome!!!). If you are set on trying this product they make a very ample sample size that I would suggest grabbing before purchasing (I paid about $130 before Chicago's lovely 11% tax). I would not repurchase or purchase anything else from this line unfortunately.

I am almost at the age 30. I had tried many eye creams to get rid of my dark eye circles. Only this eye treatment work it out well. I get to know this brand when i visited Japan. After returned, i started to shift my skincare to CdP. Amazingly my dark eye circles getting reduced to 20% after using for a week only. Even my husband noticed and praised this eye treatment is so effectively. Of coz CdP is expensive, but i think still worth for it. Do remember to massage your eyes area as instructed.

Painfully expensive, think I paid about RMB800 for a bottle for this when I was living in Shanghai.

Absorbs nicely into the skin and nourishes well, but that's about it. Does nothing much for my supa-dupa panda eyes. A little goes a long way and the bottle does last for a while.

Though I put a "yes", but am not sure if I will repurchase as it is expensive for the quality ir delivers. Perhaps MUA should add on a "maybe" option instead of "yes" and "no" only.

Comes in a nice pump type bottle and the noozle even has a little cap for it which is hygenic, but does not seems to serve much purpose. Only one which I can think of is so that product does not dry up on the noozle?

Tip: If you can't pump out anymore from the bottle, unscrew the pump cap and there are actually more products sitting in the bottle; probably enought to last a few days.

I will finish up this eye cream but I am not thrilled unfortunately. I can only use it under my eyes. It seems to iritate the eye lid, so I have to use CdLM Eye Concentrate on lid (at least until I use that loser up too) and this on the bottom. I only use this in the AM even though it says to only use in the PM, I guess because it has retinol in it, which is why it iritates. At night, I alternate between Renova and CdLM original in the eye area although I don't put Renova on the lid either but can tolerate it under the eye.

You'd think with all the topical retinol and retinoids I'm applying, my undereyes would be so lineless. Not the case. So, my friends, I am still in quest for the HG eye cream.

WOW! What a wonderfully gentle, yet effective, rich eye cream for dry, mature skin. This eye cream locks in hydration overnight and/or all day. It firms, reduces the look of crepiness and diminishes wrinkles without irritation or puffiness (a lot of rich eye creams puff me up and/or make my eyes water). I love that I can use this cream during the day and/or at night directly on my lids and under eyes. It even works well under eye makeup. This is a versatile, functional and lovely feeling treatment for my mature, saggy lids and sensitive eyes. The packaging is great, too....a small, hygenic (pre-sealed) tube. It's very pricey, but for me, it's well worth it!

I get this from a lovely swaper and i really like it.Make my eye area very soft , moisture and smooth.Don't make my eyes puffy like many others do and don't produce any alergic reaction to me. I do have problems with many eye creams and i normaly use only La Prairie cellular eye cream or Guerlain Orchidee but i will add this one also in my HG list.

This is a rich, intensive, highly effective eye cream. I am in my mid 40s, and my undereye skin is smooth and unlined...not even fine lines...because I always used an eye cream that still could be felt in the morning. I switched to this one a couple of years ago after I received a sample of it, even though the price was horrifying! But the small metal tube doesn't take up too much space in my travel bag (I don't like those fancy, heavy glass jars that weigh a ton), and it has lasted just over a year, used nightly. So I guess it works out to be about $12/month...not bad if you do the math that way!

If you are really serious about staving off eye wrinkles, this is your Holy Grail!

This product is far from extraordinary. Perhaps the worst aspect of it is the fact that the scent is overwhelming. I received a sample at Barney's in Chicago and was exciting to try it, as I am every in search of the best eye cream. The sales girl assured me that it was fragrance-free, which is far from the case. I would not suggest this product to anyone who finds themselves sensitive to products with a strong scent. Finally, I also believe that the excessive fragrance added to this product is an irritant. I ended up washing the cream off within an hour because of how poorly it felt and smelled. There is better out there at a far more reasonable price.

Up until recently, I was using the Jo Malone eye cream, which is a *great* moisturizer for the eye area. At 38, though, I am starting to develop some fine lines and "smile" lines which were driving me crazy. I experimented with a variety of eye creams, both cheap and expensive, the latest being Chanel Precision Ultra Correction. Nothing has even come close to being as good as the CdP. It literally worked like magic on me, and within a week of using it I began seeing a difference. Even though I have fairly sensitive skin, this does not bother me at all, and I've had no peeling that some posters experienced. I use this both at night and in the morning. Most eye creams will give me insane puffiness if used at night, but this doesn't. This is the first eye cream that truly works for me and makes me look younger. Despite the price ($125), I will purchase again and again.

UPDATE: After repurchasing this twice, it seems to have stopped working for me. I seem to have that problem in general with eye creams; I find one product magical for a period of time and then suddenly the results are reversed. D'oh!

I bought this when I bought the concealer. At the time, it seemed like a fantastic eye cream. I really loved how it made my eyes look when the MA applied it under the concealer. I felt it gave me a bright, wide awake look. However, the effect didn't last. The cream absorbed and that was it. And other than that, it's just an eye cream. Shiseido's got one for a third of the price (Benefiance) that has a similar texture and feel and doesn't break the bank. I don't mind paying a lot of money for a fabulous eye cream. I'm now in my early 30s and want to fight those tiny little lines. However, it truly has to be fabulous and this just doesn't seem to be.

This eye cream does a decent job at moisturizing the under-eye area, applies smoothly and has a light texture -- however, so do a lot of other MUCH less expensive eye creams that I have tried. Honestly, I don't notice anything particular about this product that made it worth its price ... in fact, I didn't notice anything really outstanding about this product at all that would make me choose this over one from Clinique, Avon, or Caudalie, etc. I also dislike the fact that this product has a very strong perfumey fragrance to it which I can smell on my fingers after applying -- luckily I can't really smell it on my face since the product is applied under my eye and not my nose, LOL. Not to mention that it balls up a bit after it has dried :( I would finish the tube, but definitely wouldn't repurchase this one.

My mom's HG eye cream. If you find it greasy, you're either too young for it or you're using too much. My mom is 51, and has tried everything, from the cheap Olay, to LaMer and Sisley. She always comes back to this. It is no doubt the smoothest eye cream on Earth. The results are so amazing that if she uses anything else for a day or two, I'd be able to notice the difference. My Mom is very frugal, and she never hesitates on splurging on this eye cream. What a miracle. And if you think other eye creams can do the same job, you're probably too young for it. Once you're my mom's age, you (and people who look at your face) will be able to tell the difference between CPB and other eye creams.

Very greasy feeling, cannot wear this eye cream during the day as it makes your mascara and makeup droop and smear. The metal tube is the old school tube that keeps dispensing even when you are not squeezing (like those old glue tubes). Was very disappointed with this product.

I love this product! I've been using it for 8 weeks - and my comments are similar to others - it has magically taken away any fine lines, my skin looks brighter, healthier - and it really hydrates. Even after the end of the day, my under eye area feels wonderfully hydrated and looks great. I just turned 50 and I'll be using this for the rest of my life. It's definitely worth the money - and since you use such a small amount, it does seem like it will take a year to use up. It's totally superior to anything out there!

I am in my 50's and I have tried so many eyecreams...was about to give it up & then I read a possitive review in regards to this eye balm relieving puffiness & restoring moisture in the eye area w/some firming. This is my first time reviewing a product. The eye balm did all it was touted to do :) It's been yrs., since I've seen my eye area toned, moisturized & my fine lines seem to have disappeared.

This is going to be my HG when it comes to an eyebalm. Now I can finally have one tube of eye cream in my arsenal of beauty products :0

I'm a huge fan of this product. In fact, last year I bought one for my mom, aunt and grandma for the holidays. With that said, My mom, grandma and I never had a problem with this product, and we absolutely love it. However, my aunt did develop milia and stopped using the product. So just be careful, this product is not for everyone.
