i really love the muffin man. it's got a lovely lemony candy scent, and it's perfectly clear... i don't know what the people who said it's sparkly are talking about. it's just a nice, not too sticky lip shine to go over lipstick, or just by itself. pretty moisturizing too.

the gingerbread man looks the same, it's perfectly clear. maybe the reviewers who got colored versions got some kind of reformulated batch? the ones i have are a couple years old, so its a possibility. anyway, the gingerbread man has a scent that i can not tolerate. it smells great, from the tube.. but once i actually get it on it's really cloying and nauseating, and i can't stand it. it has kind of a clove oil undertone, and it smells REALLY strong.

The packaging is definately intriguing with the cute gingermen on the tubes. However these glosses are nasty. First of all, I hate the texture. It's way too heavy and sticky almost like Lancome's Juicy tubes. My hair sticks to my lips when I wear them. Also the artificial scents are awful. The chocolate and ginger ones make me loose my appetite. The bubble gum one is barable. Unfortunately, I gave all of them away.
I will definately not repurchase.

I purchased all three of these suitcase sets last holiday and am now just getting around to reviewing them. Sorry about that! Anyway, the only one worth it's salt was the Gingerbread Man, and that was mostly for the lip gloss (YUM!). The other two I either returned or swapped, I forget. The Ice Cream Man was disgustingly bubble-gum flavored which is great if you like that kind of thing. For me it was just too much; too strong. Probably best for little kids since that's exactly what it reminded me of. Something a 10 year old would like. The Muffin Man set smelled like Lemon Pledge, everything in the set. Not exactly lemon custard unless you are a really terrible cook. The other disappointment were the suticases themselves. I was hoping they'd be tin and somewhat collectable, but no, alas they are cardboard. Still cute, but not something that would hold up under any circumstances.
Overall a mediocre product with cute packaging and concepts and I'd buy the Gingerbread Man lipgloss again because it's yummy, but that's it.

I have the set. By far, my favorite is the gingerbread man. It is a great sheer brownish red with a divine scent. Second prize goes to the icecream man which is a sheer pink and smell like bubblegum. Lastly, the milkman smells like chocolate milk and is light brown. This might look good on a deeper complexion, but a brown lip gloss may well be the last thing on earth that I should own. This set is irresistable and I would most like fall into its trap again. Philosophy has such cute products!

Commenting on the Ice Cream Man lip gloss. What a pretty, lip gloss this is. It really seems to moisturize my lips. It is a lovely pinky/rose tone and tasts of bubble gum. Lip gloss is my weakness. I love them. But, this one seems to really heal my lips of dryness. Love it and highly recommend it.

This review is for The Ice Cream Man Bubble Gum. I seen this in the trio online and I wanted to try it. I found it on someones swap list, who obviously split up her trio. I LOVE it! It has become my favorite lippie! We're talking HG here! I can't believe it:)) I reach for it every time my lips are a little dry or let's be honest--whenever because it tastes, smells and feels sooooo good! It's very moisturizing and has a great pink color to it. It's a bit sticky, but in a good way because it stays on my lips. I mean, it hangs on there. I love it love it love it. Too bad, 'cause it's probably LE. My luck! Every time I use it, I have to squeeze the tube a little bit harder and I'm dreading the day I have to cut it open. I gotta do what I gotta do! I'm considering buying the whole set, just to get the one.

I love these glosses. Possibly my fave gloss set ever. And there is so MUCH to like about it. The packaging is cute..hey, who doesn't like cute little guys like the Gingerbread man on a lipgloss tube. They have smth retro about them too, which I quite like. The Ice Cream man comes in a bubble gum pink tube and tastes of...right: bubblegum. Strong scent, but not sickening. The shade is a very fresh pink that goes on sheer yet nicely brightens my face. Kind of the l/g version of Benefit Dandelion. The Gingerbread Man comes in a red tube and has the most delicious yummy Gingerbread scent. I don't know how they did that, but this one doesn't scent or taste the least bit funky or nauseating. The shade is a sheer caramel. The Milk Man comes in a brown tube and tastes and smells of: TADAAA! Chocolate. This is the worst of the three scents. It reminds me of a cheap cake mix before baking, but it is bearable and doesn't last as long as the other fragrances. Now the shade is a real winner. It is a sheer plummy brown with subtle gold sparkle. This looks so subtle yet gorgeous when applied. I use all glosses regularly, and love how they are balms really. Def. moisturizes my lips and when the gloss has worn off, my lips aren't left dry but nice and replenished.

This is a set of three lip glosses - The Gingerbread Man (tastes like gingersnaps), The Milkman (chocolate milk), and The Ice Cream Man (bubble gum). They all taste and smell exactly like they're named and are very, very shiny. The gloss is thick and sticky and stays in place for hours. The tubes are absolutely adorable, too.

Chocolate Milk (the Milk Man - brownish tone), Gingerbread (the Gingerbread Man - reddish tone), and Bubble Gum (the Ice Cream Man - pinkish tone)

holidays around the corner, this is one of those whimsy purchases. Kinda funny as a kid i'd try so hard to buy "Real Adult" make up, I become an adult and I lemming all the "Kid again!" stuff =P Well this delivers, it's a good product and it makes you feel whimsical =)

It's only 'slightly' pigmented which works for me because it makes it very versatile. Makes my lips very emollient (I do also make note lean towards 'thicker' style glosses, i like FEELING that they are on my lips because its so pouty-ish then =P

These also deliver amazing high-shine that it looks like your lips are practically glass, omg lurve. The scent/taste is absolutely delish - nothing plasticky which i find so many 'scented' lipglosses in being.

The downside is I wish these were 'wand-style' because I always end up seeming to squeeze out too much =( Also it's a bit pricey imo but if you're going for a 'holiday treat' for yourself I'd say grab one of these for yourself and enjoy

Philosophy lip shines are my new obsession. I love my Lancome Jelly Tubes but right now I am addicted to Philosophy lips shines, more specifically the Few Good Men set. At first I was totally drawn to the cute packaging, The box says, For girls who need more than one guy. Ohmigawd, they literally make your lips look, feel and taste good enough to eat. I thought I would like The Ice Cream Man the least because I wasn't sure if I could handle smelling bubble gum all day long but boy was I wrong. It's not too strong and tastes so yummy, and puts me in a great mood whenever I wear it cuz it's just so much fun. It's a thick formulation but it doesn't feel overly sticky or uncomfortable. LOVE IT!! Makes for an awesome gift for the ladies!

God I love these glosses. I just got the new set. It includes the Gingerbread Man, The Ice Cream Man and The Milk Man. Ice Cream - is bubblegum flavored, I'll give that to a friend cause I just hate gum flavors, but people who like gum scents and tastes will love it. The Gingerbread Man - I'm so scared to use cause it smells and tastes SO GOOD and I don't want it to ever go away, lol. The Milk Man is Chocolate Milk flavored and tastes just like drinking chocolate milk. The shimmer, shine, taste, smell and staying power is incredible for these glosses. The best glosses I have ever used, hands down. The only downfall...which really isin't that much of a downfall...is that you want to literally eat the glosses.

I don't know this would be a fair review because I have only used the gingerbread man. Anyway based on that, I love that gloss. First of all it smells great, secondly it taste great (however don't think we should be eating it lol) and lastly it leaves and unbelievable shine on your lips. Plus, I noticed my lips looked fuller. I didn't have to reapply either. I got it free with some other gingerbread products but I cannot wait to try the other 2 good men since the gingerbread was that good.

the only reason i said i would not repurchase is because at the rate i go through lipglosses, this should last me awhile. the one i use the most is the gingerbread one - i LOVE IT! it smells soooooo good and tastes divine as well! yumm-o! ultra-shiny and claims to be moisturising as well...all in all a great product (and so very very cute too)

What a great lip trio I decided to buy for myself. The lip trio offers delicious lip shine formulas infused with three mouth-watering scents. These delightful lip shines not only smell and taste delicious, they leave behind a beautiful supernatural shine on lips - the perfect accessory for any holiday party. The Muffin Man (lemon custard), The Ice Cream Man (pink bubble gum ice cream), and The Gingerbread Man (tastes just like gingerbread cookies). The smells are devine and the packaging is so cute...I even saved the box cause it's so cute! These lippies leave your lips shinning throughout the day and hardly need to be re-applied. They are pretty sheer and nice to wear over your fav lipstick or alone. Grab these Muffin Men before they are all gone! :)

When I got this kit. I thought it would be ultimate. You know, sweet smelling high quality gloss in three cute tubes and three different colors. Sounds perfect to me. But when I got it, I got three sickly sweet nearly clear glossses with leaky packaging (although the packaging is adorable.) If you must get one try the Muffin Man. It actually smells pretty good and not too sweet, although nothing like muffins ;)

I am SOOOOOO Glad I bought this as an early Christmas present for myself! :D I just adore them! The saying on the box says something like "For the Girl that needs more than one man." It's hilarious! They taste so good and they and make my lips super shiney but not too sticky & they're actually very moitsurizing. I'm completely addicted to Philosophy everything and these lipshines are no exception, plus for 25$ you get THREE!!!! you can't beat that especially when one tube of Kiss Me Balm is 10$. Each of the lipshines has their own cute little Cookie man on the front and alittle saying lol! The muffin man saying is the cutest I think. "A Good Man Will Bake You Treats"!!!! I just love it. They each have their own color and flavor too. The Gingerbread Man tastes just like sweet gingerbread and is a very light carmel color, The Muffin Man tastes like lemon poppy seed muffins to me and is clear with a very light yellow tinge, the Ice Cream Man tastes like Bubble Gum Ice cream and is a pale pink. Each of them is very flattering on and the scent/taste is so intoxicating you just wanna eat your lips. I pull one of these out of my purse and i always get compliments. I just wish they weren't Limited Edition cause I would buy them all year round! These are definitely my new HG Philosophy Lip Products :D
ANd they will always be the ONLY men I will ever need in my life!!! LOL!

This kit is so adorable that when I saw it at Sephora I grabbed two - one for my sister for Christmas, and one for myself (Merry Christmas from Me to Me!). It was so cute that I was afraid it would sell out quickly. The packaging is what originally got my attention - three cute little gingerbread men on the box. And having tried the lip glosses, I have to say I love them. They're more like glosses than balms - they don't moisturize as well as Philosophy's Kiss Me lip balms, but they are much, much shinier. And the flavors are spot-on. The three men that you get are Gingerbread Man (in a red tube, tastes like Gingerbread), the Muffin Man (in a white tube, tastes like lemon) and the Ice Cream Man (in a pink tube, tastes like bubblegum). I was surprised to find that out of the three, my favorite is the bubblegum because it tastes exactly like bubblegum; and I was skeptical about it because every teenybopper lip balm line makes a bubblegum flavor, most of which don't taste that good. But I really love the other flavors too. This kit costs $25, a better value than buying the three glosses individually at $10 apiece. And I know that my sister and fellow lip balm/gloss addict will be thrilled to find this under the tree this Christmas.UPDATE: 12/16 - this kit is already sold out on philosophy.com, Sephora.com and the local Sephora where I purchased it. If you can find this kit anywhere, BUY IT!

I like these better than the lipglosses in Philosophy's supernatural line. The packaging is downright cute. You get a set of three. The Ice Cream Man (pink bubblegum), The Gingerbread Man (same scent as the "tub scrub"), and The Muffin Man (lemon custard). No lipgloss lasts all day on me as I have a tendency to lick my lips but these are wonderful additions to the Philosophy line. A great gift that I highly recommend.

Edited: I finally used the Gingerbread Man on Christmas day and it is fantastic. It doesn't smell like the "tub scrub"--but to me it smells like warm brown sugar mixed with caramel. I hope they keep this product available all year long. (Even if they have to change the name to make it more seasonal appropriate). It is my favorite of the three glosses. I love it.

Ok, i am in LOVE with the gingerbread one ... its super glossy and for those times when i can stop licking my lips it looks great, but i wasnt wrapped with the other 2 .... i didnt really like the icecream one ( i would have prefered it to be like icecream rather than bubblegum) and the muffin one is like lemon ... but they are great.

Like all philosophy items they are waaaaay too exy though.
