Extreme is 120% correct, this one is super duper sweet!!!! Your dentist would NOT approve!!!!


Vanille Extreme starts off with a tooth achingly sweet vanilla ice cream blast, as if you've had your head stuck in the carton & had a massive feeding frenzy. It's dripping from your nose, mouth & chin. You can almost FEEL the stickiness of the sugar, vanilla & milk. The vanilla here is not rich or warm, but similar to concentrated vanilla essence (not that there's anything wrong with that!). Sillage is at maximum here!


The heliotrope then joins in but turns into a party pooper, calming the scent down with a floral twist. Don't get me wrong, it's still nice but it changes the dynamics. Personally I'd prefer the sugar, milk & vanilla to be solo.


The initial blast of Vanille Extreme EDT lasts about an hour or so on me, and then stays close to the skin, it doesn't completely fade. During the day I get vanillary whiffs that make me want to lick my arm.


I will enjoy my sample whilst it lasts, but I don't think I like it enough to buy a full bottle.

Amazingly sweet, caramel-y, sweet vanilla fragrance. It smells like dessert.

I ALWAYS. ALWAYS get a compliment when I wear this.

Being a true-blue Gourmand Girl, I BLEEPING love this. So much so that I've hoarded the empty bottles, just so I can sniff them (not in a sketchy-huffer type way!)
Unfortunately I have to buy these online, and combined with the price of shipping it is ridiculously expensive to make its way to NZ. Insert Sad Face.

I can't find anything else like this! Something that is sweet, and lingering, and warm, like baked cookies. Not plasticy. Doesn't wear off into a pungent spicy scent. Just. Bloody. Perfect.

Some people don't like the bottle (looks like a cheap aerosol can) but I think it's awesome. Its sturdy and durable, and I can throw my handbag around, swing it at the wall- psssh no problemo.

Reminds me of the Body Shop's Vanilla perfume oil from the 90's that I loved so much! I got this out yesterday and had forgotten how much it smells like the perfume oil that everyone still misses - myself included! It isn't as perfect as the original oil was but does remind me very much of that fragrance. The only bad thing is that this only lasts about 30 minutes on my skin. I heard they changed the formula of the Vanille Extreme when they updated the packaging? I have the bottle pictured and its fabulous!!!

Your standard, sweet, soapy, cupcakey vanilla. It does smell synthetic, but not obnoxiously so. If this is what you want in a vanilla, you won't be disappointed. I personally don't find it to be worth the price. It's nice enough, but there are better vanillas out there.

One of my all time faves. I wear this on days when I just want to smell "delicious," but I don't want someone to recognize my fragrance (like you can do with Love Spell by VS, or DKNY Be Delicious)

This smells like a true, warm vanilla, nothing synthetic or sickening sweet like a cheap BBW fragrance. My best friend told me I smelled like cake, which in my mind is a good thing.

The perfume itself is difficult to find. I ordered it on eBay for about $50, and I've had it for over a year. I spray it every day so the bottle lasts a long time.

I find it's complimentary to other fragrances or scented body lotions, and has a great staying power.

This is my general comfort scent. When I have no idea what to wear I grab this one! It is an absolute gem, but you have to be careful, with the application, or it will turn into a playdoh scent, if overapplied. It is a true vanilla, however it can be a bit cloying on me at times. It lacks the richness of a darker vanilla, but this is a sweet, gourmand vanilla. It is a bright, in your face vanilla. I long for the 90's, when The Body Shop had the most wonderful true vanilla oil as part of their selection. It was a great vanilla, but this ranks in the top five vanillas for me. And it's one of those, that does remind you, what a true vanilla is supposed to smell like, without too much else added. I adore the packaging, it's a bit industrial looking and different for the fragrance market.

I must admit at first I wasn't VERY pleased because when I first sprayed it on, it smelled like vanilla cake with a tinged of rubbing alcohol in it. I don't know why??? But after, I tried it again...and the scent smells very delicious! Everytime I wear it, people (esp. boys) always ask what I wear and they always say they wish their girlfriends wore it too.... ha ha ha. I'd only buy this again if it was on sale...original price is quite expensive.

smells just like vanilla frosting. not terribly inventive. nothing complicated about it. it smells good, if you like food fragrances. but don't spend this ridiculous amount of money when you can probably find a similar fragrance at half or even less than half the price.

Like the other reviewers mentioned, this smells like home-made vanilla pudding or vanilla cake mix. It smells very buttery, and a lot like a tahitian vanilla, which is my favorite. I can also detect the slightest pipe tobacco scent, which I absolutely LOVE. SO yummy. I find myself spraying this on at all hours of the day and night just because it lifts my spirits! As others have also mentioned, this doesn't have much staying power, but it smells TOO GOOD to give it a bad rating, but I'm rating it "4" just because of the lack of staying power.. I will buy this again and again as long as they are making it :)

This is true, unadulterated vanilla, nothing else. You won't find any other notes coming into play here, just a sweet vanilla pudding scent. It's great for winter months when you want something nice and comforting.

Vanille Extreme.... the name is a little misleading, I think. I bought this unsniffed, and was expecting mounds of vanilla goodness. Upon first spritz, like other reviewers mentioned, I immediately noticed a cherry note. As in cherry chip cupcakes. I liked it alot, but wasn't expecting that at all. Fast forward to about half an hour or so, I smelled that vanilla goodness. Warm, bakery vanilla cake, pure yumminess. I haven't owned many CSP scents, but the ones that I have tried, I have noticed that the dry down is nearly always the same. It's a good thing that I do enjoy the typical CSP vanilla dry downs. As many have mentioned, the staying power isn't the greatest. And the can.... why does it cost so much for such a plain can? Overall, this is a great scent, I was just surprised that it wasn't as "vanilla-y" as the name implies.

As a borderline obsessive Vanilla lover, I can say this scent is pleasant. Hardly mindblowing, but pleasant. It's quite soft and smells of cookie dough. I like that but others may not. The first time I wore this I got more compliments in one day than I have with any other fragrance. One woman came up to me and told me I smell absolutely delicious! Betsy Johnson once said your perfume is only as good as the compliments it receives. Amen to that. I took one lippie off because the lasting power is rather so - so. This is definitely a great daytime scent.

OH, MY, GOD. WOW.
That's all I can say. This is my favorite scent and perfume and the nicest one I've ever smelled, it's absolutely perfect. The first second I smelled it I feel in love, I thought it smelled like heaven. I really hope they never, ever ever ever discontinue it or stop selling it, because I couldn't live without it.
If anything, I wish it was stronger and had more lasting power, and the only things that I wish they updated are the bottle and box... they're really ugly!!! but with such an amazing scent, I don't really care.

I absolutely love the scent! Vanilla is one of my favorite, comforting scents to wear. It's kinda strong when you first spray it but, it sinks into your skin and mellows.. Others smell it longer than you do.. I wish the packaging was a little better. The size is perfect for travel but, the liquid leaked out in my bag. Plastic bag but, still... I didn't want to waste it since it cost more than I like to pay for a fun, vanilla scent...

I wanted something to complement my Sephora Vanilla Cupcake body wash and this is what I found. I really like it. It's a very warm, sweet fragrance. It feels right for winter. Very "baking cookies" which is what I was going for.

It doesn't have a lot of staying power on me. My body works double overtime to neutralize perfumes, so I'm not surprised, but the vanilla lasts for about 10 minutes on me and then it's gone. I wish it hung around more.

This is not my HG vanilla scent, but I will probably use the 3/4 oz up without any difficulty. My thanks to the ladies who recommended other vanilla perfumes in their reviews!

I agree with the reviewers that think this smells artificial. It actually smells kind of like vanilla extract which is definately not what I was expecting. I thought it would be more along the lines of BBW Warm Vanilla Sugar but its nothing like Warm Vanilla Sugar. I like anything vanilla so I was surprised that it left me completely cold. Save your money.
