I ordered Trilogy's Rosehip Oil in May of 2012 on Amazon and I've been using it religiously ever since. I use it on my face by itself, or two drops mixed in my Clarins daily moisturizer, Olay's tinted moisturizer, sunscreens, you name it! It really soaks in and hydrates my skin. I have oily skin and it was hard to get my head around putting oil on my face but trying this was the best decision I've ever made... my face is LESS oily than it has ever been!! I was always embarrassed about my oily skin and tried to keep it from showing by using blotting papers and powder but now I don't have to! My skin is softer, brighter, more even toned, more manageable, and overall seems just happier. I didn't see a decrease in fine lines (I'm 25 but have a few) or pimples/blackheads/whiteheads like I was hoping.. but the overall texture of my skin is much better and the decrease in oil has made me a happy camper :)

I used this 9 years ago in New Zealand before all the beauty blog mass hysteria rave review holy grail product hype. I got it in a little independent health product store with some chap in his hair turban saying that the brand would be big.
I never used this more than 5 times. I found it did not absorb into my skin and sat on top all shiney and disgusting looking.
I hated the smell and I found that the longer I kept it the more rancid it smelt. I swore that it was so natural it desperately needed some preservative to stabilise it.
Please note that maybe 9 years ago the technology and the product might have been different.
Also I seem like a person whose skin really clogs up easily and is thick and hard to penetrate. Maybe for those of you with dryer and finer skin, you might find this absorbs.

Have tried almost all of the oils - i refuse to use regular moisturisers with their infamous preservatives et al. I have tried this RHO on 3 separate occasions for a month at a time and every time, i suffer break outs. No, my skin is not purging, i have purged it, it is being clogged and the culprit is oils such as these. I love how smooth it makes your skin, but i know that if skin on my forehead is becoming spotty it is because whatever oil i am using is too heavy - even using just a drop or two on damp skin. I swapped it for some sesame oil and my skin is returning to normal. No harm, just it is not for everybody.

I also use it every morning for a quick to hydrate with my primer.
I really do enjoy it.
It melts right into my combination skin without leaving a greasy film, and my skin feels soft and plump and gives me that glow afterwards. Will definitely repurchase!

Tried this for the first time a few weeks ago and i am very impressed by the results so far. my skin feels softer and smoother, and a huge blemish that has been present on my left cheek has finally started to fade away. I have seen an improvement in my skin clarity and texture.

My face gets really dry in the winter months. When a cream isn't enough I will apply some of this serum.
It's all natural, very affordable and very effective.
The only thing that they could improve is to put this in a vaccume pump so that will not come into contact with air.
I will repurchase this product

Great product! I've tried other brands but this has to be the best! Keeps my skin hydrated and so soft for the entire day even without moisturiser on top.I keep it refrigerated.Been using for a week, we'll see how it goes by the end of the month.

Love it! Have had really dry, tight and flaky skin and had been using coconut oil but it wasn't cutting it so I thought to try this after all the great reviews on MUA. I've only been using it for 3 days and I have already noticed a huge improvement. I apply at night and a little bit in the mornings under my moisturiser and so far so good. Doesn't have a strong fragrance and has a dropper dispenser. Really happy with the progress so far, will update after a few weeks of use.

So glad I decided to buy this at Whole Foods (Aura Cacia brand; mixed with Vitamin E) for $12. I really want to convey my exuberance on this review without sounding too cliche...but honestly, this oil, when used in conjunction with my Walgreens AHA on alternate nights, has made me look 10 years younger (I'm 34). My skin looks like it did when I was fresh out of college. I honestly don't think I need the AHA anymore because on mornings that I wore this oil overnight, I look in the mirror and am amazed (trying to not sound too cliche here but it's true, what else can I say?). My face is supple, my cheeks have that "rose" (how sad is it that before I started using this oil, when my mom saw me last, she said "you used to have such a nice rose to your cheeks; now your skin looks tired and dull; you look sick without make-up on" -- thanks Mom.) This really depressed me since I eat healthy, drink plenty of water, and take good care of my skin; however, every time I looked in the mirror or saw myself in a picture, I looked tired and dull. The wide range of cleansers, toners, and anti-aging creams I had bought (Genefique, Visionnaire, etc) were not working.
Enter this oil. I had had bad experiences with grapeseed oil, jojoba, sweet almond, and vitamin e oil (all caused breakouts), so I was wary. I washed my face and patted one pump of this oil all over my still damp face, then dabbed a tiny amount under each eye, prayed I wouldn't get a break out, and went to bed. The next morning I immediately saw the benefits of supple glowing skin. After continued use, lessened dark circles and bags and plumped skin. I urge you to try this oil!! The Aura Cacia brand has added vitamin e as a preservative, so I don't refrigerate mine. If you have the Trilogy brand, I believe it's 100% rosehip oil, which goes bad quickly, so you need to refrigerate it. I hope this oil will change your skin for the better as it has mine! I don't even wear full coverage foundation or blush anymore -- just sunscreen!
***been using this for about 2 months now and stil LOVE IT. I now oil cleanse with 1/2 castor oil and 1/2 rosehip as well as use the rosehip as a moisturizer at night. This oil is a miracle. It's better than Lancome's Genefique and Vissionnaire, better than those expensive retinol creams and vitamin c serums. Please try it!!!!

LOVE IT! I have tried a few different oils, and this is one of my faves. I have naturally quite oily skin so was a bit sceptical to trying another oil. But this leaves my skin feeling soft, hydrating and not oily at all. I use this at night before I go to bed and it's perfect. The weather up here in the winter is very cold and dry, and this helps keep my skin soft and glowy. Definitely recommended!
