I use Rho every other night after I've cleansed & moisturised my skin. I find that patting it on rather than working it into the skin works best for me. It hasn't broke me out & I saw results as early as day 2. Acne scars seemed lighter & it has helped to even out my skin tone. Overall I'm really happy with this product!

I wanted so so much to love RHO. I went through a stage of having very very dry skin (I had bad dehydration lines by the end of the day) so at first RHO was a lifesaver. However, after a few weeks I developed a number of tiny skin coloured bumps on my forehead. I ignored this because I really wanted to have nice RHO skin like everyone else! But sadly a few months after religiously using it my face has had enough. My whole face became covered in tiny bumps (you can only really see them when you looked hard but still gross). And yesturday my face finally broke out into more ferocious red bumps. I washed my face this evening using my usual gentle face wash and as soon as I put the RHO on my face was tingling and itchy and I had to take it off!!!!!! I am going to try not using it at all for a while and report back. Some skins are just dumb!!!!

I am in love with this product, I don't think I will ever stop using it. I use it once every day and ever since I started I have actually noticed a considerable decrease in blemishes, which I was not expecting. It also just makes my entire face look healthier and more toned. My facial skin is a bit sensitive and most products do not agree with it, but I have never had any problems with this and I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a quality rosehip oil.

I like this oil a lot. It's a little heavier than jojoba oil, I find that it doesn't sink as quick but on the plus side you need a little of it so a small bottle can last ages. I got some laser treatments to get rid of some small bumps on my face and as an aftercare, used this oil morning and night and the burn marks healed beautifully.

Now I use this daily in the morning only and my skin is calm and moisturized. No smell that I can notice. Yep, really like it a lot.

I am in my early twenties, and have normal/combination skin that sometimes is very dry and other times quite oily. I do get breakouts, but mainly every four weeks. My skin tends to be dehydrated, and can feel quite tight and uncomfortable.

I felt that I needed something more than just a moisturiser, and have heard wonderful things about this oil. I really, really like it! It is light, and absorbs quickly. I don't mind the smell, it is not very noticeable to be honest. I use this mainly at night, after my serum. I use 4-5 drops, which is enough for my face and neck. Most nights I also apply a light moisturiser on top, and my skin feels very soft and hydrated in the mornings. During my oilier times (that time of the month) i skip the moisturiser, and my skin feels as it usually does when I wake up in the morning.

I also use it under my sunscreen on days when I don't wear makeup, just to moisturise.

I have not had a problem with it blocking my pores, then again that has never been a problem for me. I have used it under makeup, and it is fine.

I had a patch of eczema on my elbow, and applied this a few nights in a row, and it was gone in just a few days. I also tend to get eczema on my eyelids during the winter, but that hasn't been a problem this winter. As soon as my eyelids have been feeling dry, I've taken this across my eyelids at night, and it has kept the eczema at bay.

Al in all - I will continue to use rosehip oil. I also really like the pipette which makes it easy to get the right amount.

Been using this for months and I gotta say, it's amazing!!
I use it as a moisturiser at night and wake up with all the oil soaked and my skin feeling so soft. My scars have also faded a bit as well.

A beautiful rosehip oil, it just hydrates your skin perfect. it's also cheap. recently i went through a horrible experience with my dry skin that turned sensitive - dry due to too many topical gels and serums with harsh ingredients, plus horrible hormonal acne. went to a skin specialist who got me to stop using everything and start basic - cleanser, NO TONER and straight to rosehip oil. the first night i used rosehip oil after a long while, i felt my skin hydrate instantly and it was pretty much great again the next day. no dry patches, no redness. now it's soft and supple again.

UPDATE (05/12/13): After a month, I switched to Pai (see my review) but now that the heat/humidity has returned, the Pai proving to be way too rich. But I still want all the benefits of rosehip seed oil, so I've returned to this oil. Skin seems quite happy. I will update at a later date. ORIGINAL REVIEW: Early days yet.....on day 4, but my skin seems to love this RHO. I'm using it twice/daily, two drops for face/eyes and one more for neck. Most all oils annoy my face, so I hesitated but am glad I finally took the plunge. I had pretty much tried everything else for my eye area and was desperate, so I was willing to spend $24 for the smaller sized 20 ml. bottle (ariva.com). I spent hours reading up on RHO and I finally decided to pull the trigger once I saw that it was relatively low oleic (13.9% according to the RHO profile on mountainroseherbs.com). I'm not only SD-prone (so high oleic oils are a disaster) but I'm also milia-prone, so I'll be watching for any milia formation. pH is 4.0. I will update in the future.

I have read so many positive comments about rosehip oil, that I high expectations. I tried it over a period of 3 months but it just didn't do anything for my skin. I have switched to Clarins Lotus oil, which has seemed to improved my skin texture and given it a clarity

I thought this was ok until I applied my makeup and I had horrible flaky skin which made my makeup look terrible! Very disappointed. Their CoQ 10 booster serum is better but is quite a bit more expensive.

Pros: All natural, dainty traditional pharmacy brown bottle with dropper, didn't break me out, not overly greasy for an oil if that makes sense

Cons: It just doesn't fade marks, though the pleasant sheen/ glow it gives skin is light reflecting so it may at first seem that your skin is less marked

It is just a moisturising agent. An all natural one, one that I can put on my lips safe in the knowledge that if I ingest it it's safe,
I think the appeal of this product even when I break it down into a basic moisturiser is the fact that it feels like a little treatment in itself. The oil hangs around for a while and so veritably encourages massage which can only be a good thing. It also smells good for you - not good - but healthy.
Best used at night where any excess oil can be absorbed. I'd buy it again. I mix it with E45 lotion to thin it out a bit and make it more spreasbale/ wearable for day time, esp. during winter

I've been using this product for about a month, hoping to reduce the appearence of gross red and dark acne marks on my face! I do still suffer from acne.I apply it every morning, mixing it with aloe vera gel in my palm.It makes my skin feel soft and fresh, and doesnt irritate or sting my skin.I do think it has improved my readness and gross complexion a bit as they are not as noticible in the mirror, but i still hate looking at my skin.I am going to continue using it and hope to see some improvement in the next few months.

this product is really nice. i use it with the cream cleanser and ultra hydrating face cream and it always makes my skin super soft. the reason why i didnt give it a 5 star rating was because ive only used it for 2 weeks so not sure about it removing my sun spots or not. also, the 20ml bottle doesnt last that long and trilogy isnt exactly cheap. in other reviews i heard it lasts for ages but ive been using it for bout 2 weeks and is about 1/3 of the way through even though i only use 3 drops twice a day. the smell is almost unnoticeable, just a light smell of rose hip. will definately repurchase if i see further results and get the 45 ml bottle coz that will last me for 2 months

I use this at night instead of moisturiser and massage it in and it works really well. It has reduced the redness on my cheeks and when I wake up my skin feels soft. It also reduces the appearance of acne scars after a while and has never made me break out.

Not the best rose hip oil I've used, has lovely simple packaging but lacks the moisture & healing properties a good rose hip oil should have.

Trilogy's version absorbed quickly into the skin compared to my usual rosehip oil by Sukin but didn't seem to do much in terms of moisture & healing of rashes etc.

LOVE. This and the other Trilogy products have turned my horrible (dry sensitive with breakouts) skin completely around. I use it morning and night after cleaning with Trilogy Cream Cleanser or the Trilogy Age-Proof Enzyme Cleanser.
I have rated it as inexpensive as I have found that at Mr Vitamins here in Australia I can pick up a 20ml bottle for $13.
Though honestly considering the raft of expensive creams that I have tried (Clinique, Ultraceuticals, Dermalogica etc) this is beyond cheap at full price of approx $25.
Anyway the results have been amazing, my skin is the best it has ever been and looks better now at 37 then it did ten years ago.
Try it, it is amazing.

This stuff is a godsend. It is so awesome at clearing up scarring from blemishes and feels light and moisturising on my skin. I take ages to use up the 20 ml bottle and have had it go rancid in the past so be sure to replace it before it exceeds its shelf life.

I bought this after reading the reviews and my skin seems to be responding really well to it. I use it under my night time moisturiser every 2nd day in conjunction with my retinol serum. It also use it every morning and it didn't make my t-zone any oilier during the day. I bought the smaller one so it's perfect for travelling.
