The only good thing I can say about this is the scent. Haha. I really dislike this because its so overly sticky and gross feeling

My favorite lipgloss. I find myself buying a new shade to add to my collection everytime I'm at Target, which is a pretty cheap thrill because they're less than $3. So far, I have:
-Fashion Avenue Fuchsia (a very wearable pink, contrary to what it looks like in the packaging)
-Nude York City (the perfect nude gloss for my fair skintone)
-Honey on the Hudson (slightly deeper than Nude York City)
-Wine & Dine (a beautiful opaque wine color)
-City's Clear (basic clear gloss)
-Peach Melba (LE peachy shimmer shade)
The scent is delicious and I don't detect any sort of flavor. My lips feel cushiony and wonderful after applying. Do yourself a huge favor and try them!

I bought this product on a whim because it's inexpensive and I was looking for a fuchsia gloss. I picked up the shade fashion avenue fuchsia and love it. The color is a sparkly blue toned pink and it smells like vanilla icing--yum! Recently NYC got new packaging for their cosmetics and I really enjoy the update because it no longer looks like the brand I wore when I was 10 years old! It looks more sophisticated and fresh, which I enjoy. This gloss packs a punch and leaves lips glossy and full of pigment, I took one lippy off because the staying power is average for lip gloss, only an hour or so of wear. Fashion Ave fuchsia is the perfect shade for summer and is dirt cheap, I much prefer this lip gloss to others I've tried in the same price range.

Oh this stuff is great!!! Here is my little story about NYC cosmetics (story time yea!!!) anyways...over the past two months or so I have become kind of obsessed with NYC cosmetics and this particular lip gloss. It goes on smooth (I love the long, flexible applicator), it has a fairly decent color payoff, it smells and tastes yummy!!! (think vanilla cupcakes...wow now I want a cupcake!), and it is super cheap. The price is good because if I am going to wear makeup at all I really don't want to splurge and break the bank and let me tell you...this does the job! I have it in Midtown Mulberry and Prospect Pink. I got Midtown Mulberry first and when I opened it, I wasn't expecting much. After I used it several times I loved it so much that I ran out and got Prospect Pink. I like both colors and although I have yet to try any other colors I'm sure that they are beautiful as well. Try these dirt cheap things!!! Seriously!!! Go NOW...you won't be let down. : )
*NEW COLOR UPDATE*
So I just picked this up in my third and most summery color "Fashion Avenue Fushia" and it is a beautiful pink. It's more shocking in the tube than it is on the lips so don't be scared of it being too bright. When it eventually wears off (after a couple of hours for me) it leaves a pretty lipstain look on my lips. I think this might be my favorite liquid lip shine color so far, but once again, I'm going to try more!!!

I love these glosses, along with Wet n Wild glosses. Color range is very nice, and they are dirt cheap! I can't see shelling out $10 or more for a gloss when these work great, and I don't tend to wear glosses all the time!

Love this lip gloss. I am on a constant quest for thick moisturizing lip glosses and for the price, this one is AWESOME. My lips are just always dry and cracking and the thinner glosses just do not do them justice. I was hesitant to buy this just because I have never purchased anything from this brand and was worried that it would be a cheap lip gloss. To my surprise, this stuff went on smooth, was not overly sticky and was extremely hydrating to my lips. The price of 1.99 was perfect! and the color, Nude York City is a perfect nude color. I am certainly going back to the store to buy more colors. LOVE IT!

This is a great lip gloss for only $3. I was hesitant to purchase these at first (something about the brand reminds me of my tween years, when I was listening to Hansen and watching Dawson's Creek).

Still, I tried out "Brighton Beach Peach" in a quest for a coral colored lip gloss and was so impressed with this product that I subsequently purchased a few other colors. I love this! The colors are pretty without being overly pigmented, the formula is hydrating without being sticky and lasts a long time. I particularly like "Honey on the Hudson," which is a mauve/plum-like gloss that looks good with everything. I wear it in a corporate setting every day and do not feel like a teeny-bopper at all.

I have 554U Sungold Pink & I really don't like the colour, but I love the gloss itself. It stays put without being too thick or sticky. My favourite thing about this lip gloss is that it can be worn alone, or over another product.

The formula used is really good one - what makes it better is that I bought it for $1 at a dollar store. I'd buy it again.

I got this product in clear and love it! It is a wonderful non-sticky gloss that enhances the natural color of my lips. It is very moisterizing and last quite a while! It was very cheap. Only two dollars at CVS. I want to get a colored one in the near future. End note. This gloss is amazing!

I received this product from in the color NUDE YORK CITY. the scent and color of the gloss is amazing.
i received many compliments from my friends telling me that the color really works for my skin tone
however, the gloss isnt as long lasting as other lip glosses that i have tried in the past.
overall, good color, very inexpensive.

Nothing like a change for the better. I never liked the old NYC liquid lipshines; they smelled and tasted like flowery perfume mixed with bar soap, were super frosty on the lips and faded away quickly. But I am loving these new ones! They smell and taste like sweet vanilla, range in color from sheer (Brighton Beach Peach and Nude York City) to more opaque and almost like a liquid lipstick (Honey on the Hudson, Fashion Ave. Fuschia)-all are super pretty! They have decent wear, aren't sticky in the least, don't dry my lips out and are always to be had for $5 or less. Seriously, what is not to love? Will definitely repurchase. :)

I recently purchased this in Nude York City, and I'll be going back to Target and picking up some more. Love these! The old packaging looked cheap, smelled terrible, and wore poorly. The opposite is true for the new Lip Shines. They smell sweet, like cake batter and coconut. (If you have the Sally Hansen Diamond Lip Treatments, it's just like that.) Nude York city is a sheer nude light brown color with shimmer. I like wearing it over a light nude lipstick or by itself, to intensify my natural lip color.

Overall, I think these are great. The packaging is convenient - love the applicator. The shade range is a little dark, but I know there's a light pink and a bright fuchsia. These lip glosses aren't sticky, but they aren't entirely smooth. They're tacky, which helps it stay on, but not so sticky that it's a deal breaker. For less than $2.50, I would definitely recommend this!

i used to have the old packaging lip gloss (looked just like smashbox lip enhancing gloss!), and the formula sucked :P but the new Liquid Lipshine is pretty good. not too sticky, but kinda smells like coconut m&m's. i don't mind it really, and it goes away after a minute. i got the shade Nude York City and it's a really great nude lip gloss. i like pairing it with kim kardashian-smokey eyes, because that's her usual FOTD. great price, and i might pick up Honey on the Hudson soon. definitely recommend :)

I have 2 of these Fashion Ave Fuschia and Pink Cosmo. Fuschia is a dupe for MAC Pink Poodle and Pink Cosmo is a dupe for Viva Glam VI lipglass. Pink Cosmo is a bit lighter, but I get the same effect. So anyway, I LOVE these! Pigmentation wise, they compete with my lipglasses. They don't last as long but for the price, I don't mind reapplying. I have to get more!

My tube of this look diffrent,it shorter has silver writing on it.The applicator thing is amazing it gives just the right amount of product and it bend so it easier to get around the corner or your mouth.i wished all lipglosses had an applicator like that.i paid only $2 and only bought one i wished i bought more.I got this in Nude york city. Its a peachy nude, smells good, and kinda long lasting as long as you don't eat/drink anything. The only downside of this is its really sticky but i can live with it for the price will definatly repurchase!

(Note: I'm reviewing the new repackaged version in the shorter oval tubes with the silver lettering, not the older square long tubes.) These are, by far, my current favorite glosses. I've worn Honey on the Hudson every day for a week since I bought it and I still love it - a first with my short attention span. They are not sticky, smell like buttercream frosting, have great shine and nice shimmer without glitter (except for the summer LE shade Pink Cosmo which does have some; it's also the sheerest of the bunch). The rest have good pigmentation, really are smooth and moisturizing; my lips don't feel dry whatsoever. They don't last long, a couple hours tops like any normal gloss, due to the non-sticky factor. But, since I've outgrown that (and have longer hair, which is a magnet for the stuff) I didn't have many options, until now. I also hadn't found a drugstore brand to fall in love with, until now either. The only thing that took getting used to is the applicator. It's not a typical doe foot, more like a long kind of flat skinny sponge with some bend to it. It's awesome because you can get a lot of product in just one swipe. For about $2, these are definitely worth a try if you see a shade that grabs your eye. I have at least four now, and will probably pick up the rest eventually. Between these, their Extreme Lip Glider glosses, sheer lipstick and lipstains, I'm not sure I need anything else.

This is one of my favourite lip glosses ever. I got this for 2$. It smells soooo yummy! The color is very pigmented, no need for a lipstick under it. The staying power is pretty well too. It doesn't feel the best on your lips.. but it's a gloss, gotta deal with it. I love it and will definetly repurchase :)

I LOVE this lip gloss. My favorite lip gloss, I have ever tried. This is coming from someone who isn't much of a fan of lip gloss. It has a 3D-effect shine, your lips feel moisturized, the lip gloss has a creamy and soft texture, and it's non-sticky. It comes in a wide variety of pretty colors, each with good scents and fantastic shine. Love it, love it, love it.

I really like the color selection of these lipglosses. I bought pink kiss and cappucchino. If I just put them on with or without chapstick, then it looks bad. It makes my lips look weird when it dries. I dont really wear the cappuccino one. I wear nivea cherry red lip balm, then put pink kiss lipgloss over it to make it look nice. I wouldnt buy these lipglosses again.

I absolutely adore these; they are my favorite lip glosses! They're thick and creamy with the perfect amount of shine, and have just the right amount of stickiness. It makes me so sad that they're so hard to find now!
Colors I own (and love!): Sungold Pink, Pink Kiss, Sheer Raspberry, Dusty Rose, Cappucino, Clear, Black Raspberry Frost, and Coral Pink. Absolutely adore them all!!!
