Sue Devitt has some pretty amazing products as far as skin care. I have tried the serum and the face mask.
I decided to give the cleanser a try. Its nice.
-the consistency is on the watery side
-the scent is a bit on the seaweed/marine aquatic side. I like it.
-the instructions are to use a pea sized amount. I use more for my face and neck. A pea size amount didn't feel like enough.
-the cleanser is wonderfully cooling and leaves my skin soft, glowy and supple.
-my makeup came all off with the help of a cotton cosmetic round.
-my skin felt clean, looked clean and healthy
I like this cleanser and I'm glad I tried it but there are too many other cleansers in the world to repurchase this one.

I bought this when I decided to give Sue Devitt's skincare line a shot. It's not all that. The texture is smooth and creamy and feels nice when massaged onto the face. But it doesn't clean very well and is quite expensive so I returned it.

I normally use foaming cleansers on my face in the morning, but the freezing, windy winter weather has dried out even my oily skin this year. Sue Devitt's creamy cleanser has been giving is some tender loving care, without irritation or breakouts (which I often experience when I try a new product). I use a dime-sized amount in the shower every morning. I massage it on, let it sit for a few seconds, and rinse it off, and my face is left feeling smooth and well-cleaned. It doesn't work for me as an nighttime cleanser, because I really do need something stronger to remove all my makeup, but as a gentle morning cleanser it's excellent. The only change I would like: a pump bottle would work better than a flip-top cap.

I was excited to see Sue Devitt coming out with skin care, since her foundations and primer are excellent for sensitive skin. Along with her past expertise in formulations comes hefty price tags, too. Her face and eye creams are both around the $100 range and the cleanser is $40.00 - yes, $40.00 for 4.4oz, which is absurd, IMO. I purchased mine off E-Bay for around $12.00. E bay is the only place I've seen it. Sephora does not have it and neither does My Ulta, which has Sue Devitt (believe it or not)does not carry the skin care, either.

The cleanser is nice and soothing and cleans well without stripping. The directions say to use only a dime size, but I use a little more to do my neck area. I find it does not get all my eye makeup off though. It is supposed to have Ceramides and Detoxifying Marine Properties, along with Water Lily Extract which helps to sooth the skin. It softens, but does not leave an oily residue. I really like it, but cannot see paying $40.00 for this, when there is other cleansers that cost 1/3 of the price that do as well or a better job. I put more money into things that will stay on my face - not get washed doen the drain. I would only repurchase if I found another E-Bay bargain. It is too hard to find, also even if I wanted to use it regularly.
